I notice you don’t post the MSNBC feed as a reliable stream… ^_^

    • E. Lee Zimmerman

That’s b/c MSBFD’s footage now airs similar to MST3K’s movie parodies with Mike & the robots in the corner.

  • Nukeman60

    Here it comes.

Eric Holder has just sent a letter to the White House asking for Executive Priviledge on the documents. Just like the leaked national security documents are not classified if the President declared them declassified for the leakage, the documents in this case can be hidden and protected by the President.

    It figures.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

This should be even more offensive to the American people than his stonewalling of the investigation. If they had any reason to claim Executive Privilege, they would have done it months ago. To me – this looks like a desperate maneuver by someone who knows they are lying. It’s his last lifeline and I think it will drag the president down even further if he obliges.

      • Linky1

Will this be a tipping point for Americans to sit up and take notice of the bloodless coup at the White House??????

        • pdxlady

Hopefully, with one change…this coup is not bloodless…they have a lot of blood on their hands.

          • Linky1

It has been the aim of Obama and his masters for this bloodless coup to gain power, consequences be damned. Brian Terry’s death should be the rallying point for Americans to get rid of this gang of thugs.

            • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4PWXRVVFEYYKVILORYEZCK6UDM Deception Points

Cheney and his staff outed a CIA agent putting the entire middle east undercover CIA agents at risk…..and 1 was subsequently murdered. I do not see anyone serving a life sentence or even 1 year for this act of treason.

              • KenInMontana

It was Robert Novak that outed Valarie Plame, not Cheney or his staff.

                • pdxlady

…and it was former Deputy Secretary of State, Richard Armitage that was the source who revealed the identity of CIA officer Valerie Plame to syndicated columnist Robert Novak in 2003.

                • KenInMontana

He told Woodward first, Armitage was the original source and acting on his own, he let Libby take the fall for it.

              • Amy

Really…??? The IG and CIA have a very different findings than your opinion. So did all the judges in the civil lawsuits.

              • duckyack

The point? When does a past behavior excuse a present behavior. For crying out loud! With that logic, I could commit murder, and have it excused, because murder has been committed many times before1

                • wodiej

good one. “don’t excuse bad behavior w more bad behavior.”

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

If it isn’t, then we have already gone past the point of no return.

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4PWXRVVFEYYKVILORYEZCK6UDM Deception Points

Bloodless coup? Are you in line for a FAUX news analyst position?

          • KenInMontana

            Goodbye troll.

      • E. Lee Zimmerman

IF it gets mainstream reporting, THIS might finally kill the Odministration’s chances for re-election.

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

Executive Privilege is a big deal. The MSM will cover it. Now, we don’t know how they will cover it though. They could spin it as an “Obama saves Holder from those racist republicans” story.

  • https://twitter.com/#!/davidjkramer DavidKramer

Holder, Napolitano, Clinton and Obama would be implicated if everything came out. Remember, the admin was “working on something below the radar”. Hmmmm, I wonder what that was. Also, has ANYONE asked any of them this simple question, What was the purpose of letting the guns go to Mexico? And why has this very simple question not been asked?

    • Rshill7

As an excuse to further erode the second amendment of course. To create another “crisis” that musn’t go to waste.

  • Amy

Breaking now – the POTUS has granted Executive Privilege on all F&F documents.

    • Nukeman60

The only good thing about that is the LSM will now have to cover this story because Executive Privilege is a big deal.

      • Amy

One would think anyway… it also shows the DOJ knew more than they were willing to admit they knew.

        • Linky1

Listened to Issa last night on Greta-he was not to be moved from the contempt charge. You have to know that Holder and Obama had this “Plan B” in place…..

          • Amy

Yes, for sure this was in place. I also think the docs in question show fingerprints that go all the way up the ladder…

            • Linky1

I’m sure Obama holds the “Smoking Gun” here.

        • pdxlady

The DOJ and how much higher up?

          • Amy

EP implies all the way to the top.

            • pdxlady

              Exactly!

    • Linky1

      Talk about guilty!!!!!!!

    • KenInMontana

      Executive Privilege is not inviolate, to override it merely requires;
“a sufficient showing that the Presidential material is essential to the justice of the case” ~ SCOTUS United States v. Nixon.

      • Amy

I’m hearing some rumbling that the reasons behind invoking/asserting Executive Privilege in this case won’t stand up in court. Which makes it sound like a distraction. Which would not surprise me even a little bit.

The silver lining in this might be the fact that this will get even more press and in their panic they might have kicked themselves in the arse. They seem to be doing that quite often as they keep grasping for that golden ring…

        • KenInMontana

It has never been fully tested in court, in the past Presidents who invoked it, latter end up handing the documents over voluntarily, usually to buy themselves some favor, and at this point Obama could use some of that “favor”. I am starting to see a bus in Holder’s future.

  • 12grace

holder and obama deserve jail time.

  • 911Infidel

I hear Obama just invoked Executive Privalege to deny Congress access to those documents. Now we have a Constitutional crisis. Is Congress prepared to hold Ayatolla Ali Obama in contept as well? Can you say Watergate? Without a Special Prosecutor, the Injustice Dept is in charge of enforcement of a contempt citation. So without a judge’s intervention, this show is going nowhere.

    • WordsFailMe

The boy prince is wetting his pants about now…lol…Black Panther brigades will be mobilized by noon to take defensive positions around the white house. They will be joined by all “undocumented immigrants,” in the Washington DC area, ages 16 to 30.

      • Linky1

It’s a scary thought, but not too far removed from reality. It’s the first day of summer and it seems like it it is starting off right-the Summer of Discontent.

        • Nukeman60

Indeed, with the summer solstice occuring, this may well go down in history as “The Longest Day” for this administration and it’s Summer of Discontent.

      • 911Infidel

That wouldn’t surprise me one bit. In the Pathers world, and Shelia Jackson Lee’s world, a black can do no wrong. This administration is OJ. And we all know how that trial worked out…

    • Rshill7

That tactic didn’t work for Nixon did it? It shouldn’t work here, unless there is a double-standard. I wonder if there’s a double standard? Naaaaa. (sarc off)

      • 911Infidel

Nixon had a Dhimrat Congress and Senate. And the MSM had a monopoly on the news. They hated Nixon. He had no chance of pulling an Obama and getting away with it.

      • Linky1

Napolitano was just talking about this, saying that Executive Privilege relates only to the POTUS, not the AG. Invoking this implies Obama knows more than he is saying.

        • Rshill7

And directly contradicts Holder’s testimony…sworn testimony.

There are literally, smoking guns throughout this…the automatic assault rifle kind.

          • Linky1

These smoking guns were just as, if nor more so responsible for Brian Terry’s murder than the actual weapon.

    • KenInMontana

Executive Privilege does not override or stop the Contempt of Congress charge, it only slows the release of the documents in question.

      • 911Infidel

I seriously doubt that Holder and Obama see it that way. Executive privalege in their eyes seems to be more like “go pound sand” Congress.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Who is this “executive” to have such privilege? Do you really think this executive will leave the White House respectfully, if he is voted out? He would rather see our cities burn to the ground. The real revolution begins after the votes are tallied.

  • WordsFailMe

Wrong Cummins. It does have to be “this way.” Your fellow party members are corrupt, inept and lack any moral sense.

You know, kinda like all Chicago Democrats and liberals.

Burton is right. By offering or claiming “executive privilege,” Obama has literally super-glued his lips to Holder’s forehead.

What’s the word for, “beyond stupid?”

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

Exactly, Their bond is forever sealed. Holder’s weight will sink Obama’s campaign.

I can’t wait to see how the media covers this. I’m looking forward to some presidential debates, too.

Oh, the word for “beyond stupid” is “liberal”.

      • WordsFailMe

Good one, Brian, I stepped right into that one! LOLOLOLOL

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

Joint effort…we gotta be a team here. HA

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Rep. Maloney (D) looks like she just came in from a garage sale.

    • pdxlady

Re: Rep. Maloney…agreed. I looked her up and she has been there for 20 years (!), and is running unopposed this election! We need Conservative candidates to oppose all of these ‘lifers.’

Talk about a chess game…I wish there was a plan to move Conservatives into all of these districts to take on these people who are continually running unopposed and are re-elected term after term. So many have been ‘installed’ in the Congress since before many people were even born. They must just believe those people are there because they always have been. (“That’s the way I’ve always heard it should be…Carly Simon).

  • badbadlibs

I’m trying to figure out how to block it when the demoncrats lie…er, speak.

  • wodiej

I just tuned in and found out obama is trying to assert executive privilege over the documents. Whether he is allowed to or not, if there is nothing to hide, why do it? The Democrats sure can’t claim angels wings on corruption vs Republicans.

  • badbadlibs

I can’t take it….I’ve turned down the volume when the dems start spewing anything that comes into their possessed little minds….

  • mder4thegov

After his endorsement of Barack Obama–in 2008, someone asked Gen. Colin Powell something to the effect, “What if he turns out to be as radical as many Americans believe he is?”. Powell’s know-it-all, elitist response was, and I’m paraphrasing, “Oh, that’s onsense…we have checks and balances in this country–to prevent a president from abusing his power.”
Can someone in the media find Colin Powell, and ask him if he still feels the same?

  • rich wojcik

what did I say long tome ago?
    Today’s news: ”
President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege over documents sought by a House committee investigating the botched Fast and Furious gun-running sting”..
    Why?….
His fingerprints are there, next to holder’s….
    And it wasn’t “gun-running sting”….it is Mex gov’s job…………….
F&F was designed to stir anti-gun sentiments in USA and confiscate all guns …

  • badbadlibs

Ahhh….a breath of fresh air to rid the fumes of the dems spewing lies…I like Mr. Chaffetz, he seems fearless.

  • 4Hoppes2

What is so astoundingly agonizing about this entire fiasco is the wanton dereliction of our drug enforcement agencies, they have deliberately armed the Sinaloa drug cartel, and possibly others, in order to keep the supply side of illicit drugs flowing into this country. The assault on our second amendment rights was just frosting on this toxic cake. We have multiple agencies from DHS, DEA, BATFE, DOJ, and now the President himself covering up what should be considered an act of terror on this country and Mexico.

    • WordsFailMe

      You nailed it 4!

      • 4Hoppes2

        Thank-you

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/OKUOSWXNJBRI7GT5NPV5IJDICQ Brian

      Straight up!

      • 4Hoppes2

        Thank-you too Brian

  • MiketheMarine

Why do blacks REFUSE to recognize the rule of law?

    • Josh

A little racist there, Mike, but your point is valid when it comes to this committee.

Another thing that I noticed is that they all want to do two things:
      1. Blame Bush
      2. Ask Issa, “How DARE you say anything about the EMPEROR, er.. I mean President?!”

      Just a bunch of numbskulls.

      • MiketheMarine

My best friend for the last 32 years is a black man that enlisted in the Marine Corps with me and he doesn’t believe I am racist and he agrees with my comments here. If the statement is fact, then it isn’t racist.

        • Josh

Not calling YOU racist by any means. Only stating that by limiting your statement to the blacks on the panel, you leave out idiots like Welch, Maloney, and Tierney who are not black, but also “REFUSE to recognize the rule of law”.

    • actionsspeaklouder

Because they’ve been able to for far too long. Democrats are their enablers. Obama and Holder are the big enablers.

  • brendawatkins

Ms. Maloney..why can’t we work together? Because your STINKING AG won’t HAND OVER THE DOCUMENTS that would help you WORK TOGETHER!!! We’re NOT as STUPID as you’d like to THINK we are!!

  • Islam_Sucks

Do ya think if while someone was talking, they had to be nekkid, would more actually get done?

  • mder4thegov

This bunch makes Nixon look like a petty shoplifter.
Fast and Furious is easily 20 times worse than Watergate. Nobody died as a result of Watergate.

  • sandynsavannah

    I can’t wait till November!!!!
My first choice was Not Mitt Romney in the nomination. But this conservative will GLADLY vote for Mitt Romney now.

    I am FURIOUS!!!!
We need to get these criminals OUT of our government… and FAST!!!!!

    • wodiej

As much as I dislike Romney on various levels, my country is worth saving and he is our only option.

This is an exercise in futility. Listening to the democraps makes my head hurt.

  • WordsFailMe

To Mr. Clay: Will the gentleman kiss my a** when he’s proven wrong?

  • Amy

Interesting… Holder has now retracted his statement that AG Mukasey (Bush AG) knew about F&F or any other program like it.

    • badbadlibs

Wondering if AG Mukasey made it known to holder he would be facing some serious charges if he didn’t retract?
I would loved to have heard that conversation. :)

  • brendawatkins

How many people were KILLED under “WIDE RECEIVER” Mr. Connolly?

    • KenInMontana

None, notta, zip. Unlike “Fast & Furious”, “Gunrunner” (wide receiver was an op under Gunrunner) was done with the full cooperation and participation of the Mexican government.

      • brendawatkins

        Exactly!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=775953507 Berend Lienemann

I am surprised that there are still a handful of fools still willing to defend a racist, corrupt, arrogant, entitled Attorney General.

    • c4pfan

I’m not. There’s a lot of people that hate this country and agree with Obama.

I can barely look at a still picture of Holder, nevermind watch him on video… Unless he’s in an orange jumpsuit and shackles and being led away to prison where he belongs!

    • Nukeman60

Maybe it’s just me, but the circle around his face reminds me of the gun range. I don’t know.

      • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

Obama asserts executive privilege on Fast and Furious documents

  • WordsFailMe

Mr. Davis: Holding Holder to impossible standards? Putting the criminal Holder in a spelling bee would be holding him to impossible standards. When he get’s in a hard place, he just pulls up his pants and runs to Obama in the middle of the night, like a Georgia possum, squealing, “Hep me ‘Bama, hep me!”

“These chagis is un-substan-chu-ated.” Isn’t there some surgery you can get in Sweden to correct the little defect? Hormone therapy?

  • Josh

Had to stop watching. Dems were making me sick to my stomach.

  • brendawatkins

These hearings began in 2011 if Eric Holder hadn’t stonewalled for SO LONG it wouldn’t have DRAGGED into an ELECTION year! How CONVENIENT for Eric Holder and the DEMOCRATS!!

  • Nukeman60

Now, I like Gowdy. He reminds me of Mark Levin with his fire and passion.

  • brendawatkins

    AMEN GOWDY!!!

  • http://onthemark1.blogspot.com/ On The Mark

Gowdy is awesome. “[Obama]‘s either part of it or he’s not!”

    • pdxlady

      Ditto, all y’all! LOVE Gowdy!

  • Nukeman60

As Ross speaks, note that the seats of Towns and Maloney behind him are empty. These people make their speeches then leave, not caring to listen to what anybody else says. Very telling to me.

  • dabbobean

Judging from Mizz Speers comments the ATF is going to be the fall guy on this operation…..the dems are circling the wagons around Holder.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/62DJTXJ2ZMZ3CVBOSSOUEQMF34 Randall

We may be closer to finding out the real problem. I don’t think it was a botched gun tracking program to catch gang members, but was a full blown attempt to flood the market and use the carnage created to limit purchases in the U.S. It was all about cutting into the protections of the 2nd amendment.

Even THIS administration could have caught one gun if that were the goal.

Thugs are running our government now. Two of the three brances are alighned and I worry about the participation of the third.

    • wodiej

In a nation whose foundation is based on Christian principles and which has more good people willing to fight than to be corrupt, justice will prevail.

Thank you Scoop for this thread. It’s far better watching this here than getting pieces from TV.

  • brendawatkins

Ms. Maloney.. who the heck does your hair? I hope you don’t pay them TOO much! lol

    • wodiej

helen keller? oooohhh, that was so wrong. God forgive me.

      • brendawatkins

        LOL!!

  • brendawatkins

Mr. Lynch… could you have a talk with your boss.. OBAMA how IMPORTANT job creation is.. he doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo.. since he’s so busy GOLFING so much of the time! And this wouldn’t have taken so much time, and so much tax dollars had ERIC HOLDER not stonewalled for SO LONG!

  • brendawatkins

There it is.. the inevitable MORE GUN LAWS argument. This isn’t about more gun laws, it’s about the ATF OBEYING the gun laws that we ALREADY HAVE IN PLACE!

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Dems never get enough lying time. Juan Williams is now quoted because he said this investigation is monstrous. I wish Michelle Malkin was there. She tears Juan limb from limb with the facts, routinely. Disgraceful exhibition by the Dems.
