… AT LAST COUNT, that is.
Twitter, the social media platform that President Trump has selected as his direct conduit to the American people, the capitalist enterprise that profits from that selection and means to continue to do so, the land of nuts and trolls, is a hotbed of falsehood.
If the MSM is a vehicle for fake news, Twitter is the engine. And here is a perfect example, provided as a screenshot to preserve the numbers at the time of this posting.
What a devastating point! Except for not though.
This is so dumb it hurts.

1) This picture intentionally cuts out Kristen Nielsen.
2) Trump didn’t choose most of these people. They were elected by the American people to legislate.
3) Rubio, Cruz, Tim Scott etc. have played major roles in the legislative agenda this year. https://t.co/IaafQ3Jorg

Also, the age thing is particularly misleading since there are age requirements for Congress and most people who reach that level of leadership naturally have been there for years.
Not only is it a dumb statement because the voters chose their representatives, but also that’s not even the full photo.
I would add that it is further stupid and fake because determining the legislative agenda for the party must necessarily take place among the congressional leaders, but is then taken to congress as a whole. Go stack up the “diversity” numbers of the two parties and you’ll see how little room the old white Democrats have to whimper on this point.
Eventually the liar in question was corrected about his lie, and put up a semi-correction, which was far less retweeted and far less liked. And that happens on Twitter all the time.
There are a lot of people who sneer at the idea of fake news, and there are lot of times that the term is used not for something fake, but instead to just dismiss a story Trump doesn’t like, but neither of those facts mean fake news doesn’t exist. It does.
And you find it on Twitter more than anywhere else. And people believe it like gospel. It’s a problem.
