But those of us who are here legally already have a government issued ID. I have had to provide mine along with my other documents every time I've ever applied for a job. I can't get work without my "greencard" which is issued by the government, along with my SS card which I have to have my proof of ID to get.
Those of us who are legally here are already asked for our papers. Every time we go to open a bank account, get our drivers license, bought a car, applied for a job, applied for rent or mortgage- we have to show our ID. I wasn't able to get the live feed very well- but when I heard Romney talk about getting ID cards, I scratched my head because anyone who comes here already HAS one.
Great debate and the after show guys from Fox were really good, nothing like the ABC, CBS and other hacks talking about a debate. They really dissected it and I really agreed with their analysis of what happened. How rare is that?
While this debate was good...(I espacially liked when Ron Paul imploded on his foreign policy and acknowledged he is left of Obama). I think last weeks debate was better.
I know it's a softy. My point is that there was NO mention of Obama question wise. This time around, everyone is trying to point out what will be different and they had several questions about how they would explain certain things that might seem like a drawback against Obama.
Huntsman, ruPaul, Perry must drop out of this race. Paul is repulsive, ignorant and anti-American.
''The announcement of Newt's flatness is greatly exaggerated''
Great response by Newt on Middleeast and the oil pipline! The Crowd roared.
Ecellent answer on Syria from Perry. Oh I wish I could see all of this, but it isn't working for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you anyway Scoop- I hope you can play a re play later ? :-D
Oh man....Ron Paul admits he is left of Obama.....How the heck can you be left of Obama??
Good Grief....This just proves Ron Paul is an isolationist and he is NUTS!
While I disagree Bachmann nailed him...simply for the fact this is the third time she has said the same thing from past debates....
I agree that Gingrich's reply was less than desireable. It seemed he was too busy concentrating on his views on the merits of working on the rights to own a home versus answering the direct charge that there is something wrong with being paid a fee for consulting as a private citizen. I think if he had emphasized that he was a private citizen running a business in the free market he should have the right to negociate with anyone for a fee as a capitalist. (as long as it is legal)
Haha! 1 in 2 Americans are in poverty. So, let's raise taxes on the rich and make it 2 in 2 Americans in poverty! THEN, we can just erase the definition of poverty, and call it the norm! Tada...THAT's how you get rid of poverty! :-D
This is on Fox? I hope they'll actually ask the candidates something about Obama. The last one was ridiculous. "Everyone hold hands and tell each other what you like about them. Play nice now." I'm surprised they didn't ask them what amazed them the most about how Obama has turned this country for the better. Too obviously biased maybe. But it's never stopped them before.
