ABC News presidential tracking poll shows Clinton support CRATERING

Here’s a roundup of all the tracking polls for this week from Real Clear Politics, but one in particular is of most interest.

In the ABC News Tracking Poll, from Tuesday to Friday (today), support for Hillary Clinton has cratered by -8 points. That’s a YUGE drop in only 4 days and is well outside of the +/-3% margin of error:

ABC News Tracking:
Tue: Clinton +12
Wed: Clinton +9
Fri: Clinton +4

The other tracking poll of interest is IBD/TIPP, which shows support for Hillary Clinton increasing from Tuesday to Friday. It’s not as dramatic as the change in the ABC News tracking poll. But still, a +2 increase over 4 days is a decent increase even though it remains within the +/-3.3% margin of error. The other reason this poll is of interest is that it was said to have been accurate in 2012, when so many other polls were not.

IBD/TIPP:
Tue: Clinton +1
Wed: Clinton +2
Thu: Clinton +2
Fri: Clinton +3

The remaining two tracking polls show much smaller changes throughout the week that favor Trum. But just like IBD/TIPP, the changes are certainly within their respective margin of errors:

LA Times/USC Tracking:
Wed: Trump +1
Thu: TIE
Fri: Trump +2

Rasmussen Reports:
Tue: Clinton +1
Wed: Clinton +1
Fri: TIE

If current trends hold with only 11 days to go the polls will continue to tighten next week. Of course in this election, you never know what will come up at the last second to skew them again.
