I'm from Brazil. here we have a culture of big butts, no work and being "malandro", being a wise guy or something like that. This contry sucks! it is a country of thiefs and robbers. My dream is to one day save enough money to go live in Texas, become an american citizen and have my children grow up in the shiny city on the hill. sorry for my poor english.

This is partially what I've been saying for a long time about our schools. Yeah, we have problems with the unions, teachers we cannot fire, and curriculum that is altered to fit the liberal agenda...including history. Those are all real bad.
But, we also are turning into a culture where kids don't go to school to learn. Parents don't enforce studying at home and they don't get involved. I can't remember where I saw the story, but a teacher was being criticized for kids running around the classroom and not paying attention. True, she's partially to blame, but schools cannot discipline kids any more...and parents sure as heck aren't doing it.
Before we pump more money in our schools and blame teachers for failing kids, we need to look at our family unit, our culture, the environment liberal laws have put our kids into, bad parenting that's widespread, and whatever else that is causing our kids not to be interested in learning. You can't teach a lead pipe to learn math.
But they have a new Lord, Barack Hussein Obama. They don't have to act responsibly, Because Lord Obama will save them.
I have always said, if all Americans moved to Mexico and all Mexicans moved to the US, within 6 months, America would be the 5hi7hole that Mexico is today. End of story.

We are a great magnet! To make that magnet stronger, our gove advertises in Mexico how to get free food and money in USA. And our southern border is wide open!

I have thought about moving to Costa Rica when I retire because the cost of living in the States is going from bad to worse. At no time did the idea ever dawn on me to go there illegally and mooch off their system as much as possible. I fully realize I may have to learn some spanish and comply with their immigration policies. I have no intention of being involved with their politics nor do I intend to illegally vote in their elections. So why do we allow them to come here and tell us what to do?

I thought that English media was bad, but now I realize that the Spanish media in this country Telemundo and Univision are the worst of them all. For a week I was forced to watch Spanish television, in that process I saw their news coverage,because my father was sick while he was recuperating, was helping taking care of him, since I don't watch a lot of Spanish television I got a glimpse, of just how bad and the challenge we are facing in this country. And Corolla is correct when he says that they try to bring their culture here, while not making an attempt to assimilate to this great country, and it's all because of the stupid Spanish media.
I've never understood why people move to this country and then live like they're still living where they came from. If you want to move here, at least assimilate. If you don't want to assimilate, why move here?

If you want to keep your country's culture so much, stay back there! If you want to stay here, adopt our culture and SPEAK ENGLISH. Don't wave Mexican flags or whatever and expect our sympathy. What if everybody's ancestors did that?
I can't stand having to press 1 for English on phone services or seeing Spanish-language instructions. It's not racist to demand they assimilate and speak our language, in fact I think it's patronizing not to.

Immigrants have historically had a pretty hard row to hoe but still, with time, they assimilated. Yet nowadays with political correctness guiding the nation, toleration guarantees their self determined segregation.
I'm not sure if McCain bothers to read much anymore. He's stuck orbiting between the planets compromise and stupid.
When McCain was a fighter pilot before he was shot down, he was the biggest jerk on the flight deck. He was bound and determined to make Admiral like his daddy and grandfather, and he didn't care who he screwed over to do it. Everyone hated him. He was and still is a loose cannon.
The only thing that he ever did right was join the Navy and resist his NVA torturers. Outside of that heroic episode in his life he is a schmuck.
you sir are a schmuck. mexis drop out a much higher rates than any other culture and then they become a burden by popping out babies and draining the social service system that was put in place for legal immigrants and citizens.
And yet it's okay for the Mexicans in the school system to drop out at very high rates and on top of that not even speak English? But saying that wouldn't be PC, would it?

American culture is superior to that of all other nations, that is why so many people throughout the history of this great nation have left the place of their birth behind and risked everything to come here. And why so many more have dreamed about coming here.
Multiculturalism is a poisonous venom coursing through our veins, it has already caused paralysis, and if we don't remove it, death will follow.
As a first generation Canadian I CONSTANTLY say: " You have three things to offer as an immigrant: Work hard, obey our laws, & pay your taxes" The only thing I want from where you are from is a restaurant!
