AIM Exclusive: Protesters admit Nurses Union paid them to Occupy DC

Not only did the Nurses Union pay them, they transported them from all around the country and paid for their meals. But really, nothing to see here, it’s just like the Tea Party:

On November 3rd, 2011, the National Nurses United Union, allied with the AFL-CIO, payed for the expenses of more than 1000+ members to march with Occupy DC and ask the President to raise taxes. Both public and private hospitals must have gone short staffed as the nurses hailed from all over the country and were very clear who brought them there.

    And who is surprised?
Unions are destroying this country with Bam’s help.
As a retired teacher who got out of the union the year before my retirement, amid veiled threats, I find unions destructive to anything they touch.

And by the way, I survived that final year just fine…dotted every i, crossed every t and did my job just like I always have….good teachers do not need union protection.

  • I bet the NEA and all the other unions did the same…..

Mine was NEA…here in Arkansas teachers have to join all three, local, state, and national.
My local and state did not help me when my nose was broken by a student running about 90 mph down the hall and knocked me down…Workman’s Comp paid surgery, hospital, doctor, and two weeks of my medical leave…my district took the third week from my built up sick days for which I would have been payed at retirement…No One would help me.

But what really pushed me over the line was when I learned that my NEA dues were being used to assist Hillary Clinton to the US Senate from New York, after she left Arkansas, where she did damage to our educational system.

I am afraid I made a bit of a scene about it all and the “Union Bosses” locally did not like it at all…I did not care.
The also did not like me!!!

  • Ya know, the unions are much better organized than our elected government or the big government bureaucracies so why don’t we just cut out those inefficiencies and have the unions run all of our governments [city, county, state and federal]?

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS reporting for duty !

Now we know – again – why the democRATS supported this (bowel) movement

(I must say that the reporter was very charming to the ladies)

I am a nurse in Nebraska, and I will lead the fight against unionization of the nursing profession in this state…I am married to an AFL CIO forced member, so I am already sending 70 dollars a month to support this insane movement to bring down our country.

Just reading the TRS headline it shows just where the priorities are. They’d rather leave their hospitals and any other workplaces understaffed to participate in the bolshevik revolution.

And next time they have a contract negotiation, they’ll be preachin’ just how much they care about their patients who really need them.

    Unions need to be busted!

Wealth, better work environments with shorter work hours, and higher pay for labor existed in the private sector in Europe and the USA a long time before union rabble rousing came onto the scene. Unions exist to give idiots a feeling of security. Not only are the dues overinflated, but the membership is worthless. Right To Work states need to be held up as beacons of freedom amongst these Socialist states that squander free will by forcing workers into unions.

    • “Wealth, better work environments with shorter work hours, and higher pay for labor existed in the private sector in Europe and the USA a long time before union rabble rousing came onto the scene.”

Do you know anything about early 20th century US history?

  • What is the big deal about this? The union sympathized with the political cause and made it easy for its members who wanted to participate to do so.

Aren’t unions supposed to do these sorts of things? i.e. promote things that are in the interest of their members… it’s clear that this is a cause that has huge sympathy among the rank and file (since certainly nobody in the video seems to be forced).

I went to Occupy Sacramento and talked to people, some of whom work for unions, and they told me that their bosses encouraged the to go to Occupy Sacramento.

Is there any way we can identify all these nurses and get them fired? I don’t want them attending ME if I have to go into the hospital. What will you bet if we examine the hospital records we will find that since 11 / 08 there has been an unexplained rise in the percentage of in-hospitals deaths of Republicans and conservatives?

FOund this bit of info on the FOX News site, from a commenter:

“Do you know the park in NYC that the Wall Street protesters are occupying?
    It’s Zuccotti Park.
Did you know this park is not owned by the city of New York?
It is owned by Brookfield Properties.

Who was just hired by Brookfield Properties as an attorney?
    Vice President Joe Biden’s son.

Who sits on the board of Brookfield Properties?
    Mayor Bloomberg’s live in girlfriend.

Now, guess what company just received some of the last of the Obama Stimulus $.
    That’s right, Brookfield Properties.”

Something stinks there, moreso than the protesters.

    Then, this commenter continues:

“Now on completely unrelated note but equally curious.
Wisconsin is shaping up to be the swing state in the 2012 presidential elections.
Not Florida, not Ohio, but Wisconsin.

Now guess who owns the company that will be tabulating the electronic votes in Wisconsin.
The largest contributor to the Obama Presidential campainge, George Soros.”

Ahhhhh…the puppet master, hard at work. Isn’t it ironic that there is another recall motion put forward for Gov. Walker?

my family has three nurses. not a one would ever join a union. i should know. my mother is a lpn. my sister is a lpn. and the love of my life, my wife is a rn!…however the nurses of the local american red cross are members of the anti-american union S.E.I.U.. i no longer donate blood 🙁 my wife has told me over and over that in most cases the blood is misused. given to those who are circling the drain

    public unions are unconstitutional.

look out my fellow americans, S.E.I.U. is out to destroy america. look what they have manage to put into place in michigan. if you provide care to your own family, and accept gov’t assistance, your now considered an employee of the state. this then entitles you to pay union dues! $30.00 is skimmed off from the govt payment to you for providing care to your family.
