AKP Member: Erdogan will be CALIPH by 2023

It looks like another AKP member (Erdogan’s Muslim Brotherhood Party) just said something he wasn’t supposed to say out loud:

Suat Ünal, a board member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Aydın Efeler branch, shared a message on social media on Saturday that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be caliph by 2023 and that God will complete the divine light.

It wasn’t just a message. Ünal shared an article written by a pro-Erdogan columnist who wrote this:

“Erdoğan will be Caliph after he gets his new presidential status. Even the rooms at Aksaray [the Presidential Palace] are ready. The Islamic Union will be established…

“The caliphate has arrived at the Turkish Parliament. The government has been doing what is needed. If Tayyip Erdoğan switches to a presidential system, he will probably appoint counselors to Muslim territories, to the territories faithful to the caliph. He will also create representative offices of the Islamic Union in Beştepe [the Presidential Palace in Ankara]”

Ünal’s facebook post got so much backlash that Ünal had to resign from the AKP the same day:

After mounting reactions to the post, including from opposition parties, Ünal resigned on Saturday, the tr724 news website reported on Sunday.

If you go to Ünal’s Facebook page, you’ll see he’s all about Erdogan becoming the Caliph. I think he deleted the controversial Facebook post where he shared the article, but here’s a similar one where he wrote Allah must complete this divine light, referring to Erdogan becoming Caliph:

In the image he shares here, he declares himself to be a fanatic of Erdogan.

If you remember, another AKP member tweeted something very similar about Erdogan in the recent past:

“Now they are saying he cannot be president [under a presidential system]. The caliph is coming, get ready,” he added…

And then more importantly you have the religious head of the Muslim Brotherhood just last year giving Erdogan a huge blessing by basically declaring him as the Supreme Leader of the enire Muslim world.

Things are moving quickly. It’s now being reported this morning that Erdogan’s new caliphate presidential system will be taken to a referendum in early April:

It’s expected that the Turkish people will pass it.

As we’ve told you repeatedly, it’s looking more and more like Erdogan could in fact be the coming Antichrist that the Bible warns about. Nothing is certain at this point, of course. Many things could change. But given that his own people are proclaiming him as Caliph over the new Ottoman Empire that is supposed to be christened in just six years from now in 2023, Erdogan could be the one who leads the Muslim armies into Jerusalem:

As Jesus says in Luke 21:

But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
