Alex Wagner Cites “Stink Of Joe McCarthy” In Defense Of Unfairly “Targeted” IRS

“In my mind, the IRS, who was trying to get this out, they were the ones that have been actually targeted in this whole investigation,” says MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, in keeping her “Leave The IRS Alone” theme.

In the full clip, soon to be available at MSNBC.com, Wagner spends a great deal of time in the throes of indignance. “Shamelessness” she says. “Circus” she intones. “Stink” she asserts. “So-called investigation” she snarks.

Wagner calls investigation of the IRS a waste of money. She previously called it a waste of time. Not just the people’s time, but the invaluable and unjustly preoccupied time of the unimpeachable and possibly holy Lois Lerner.

For Alex Wagner, conservative groups were never unfairly targeted. The only group unfairly targeted was the IRS. BY conservative groups and politicians.

Also, she’s really tired of the way Jerry is always chasing Tom, the roadrunner never stops trying to catch Wile E. Coyote, and criminals keep arresting cops. But she’s super proud of how MSNBC is trouncing Fox News in the ratings. After all, we have always been at war with Eastasia.
