In an interview with the NRA, West slammed Holder for his use of the race card in his defense of Fast and Furious:

I’m disgusted. I find it absolutely reprehensible because this is not about skin color. This is about your character. This is about your competence. This is about your ability to lead. And this is about potentially you having misled the Congress and the American people on this operation Fast and Furious.

It is a slap in my face as a professional African American member of Congress and a career military officer, that this gentleman who is the head of the Department of Justice is going to resort to that very nefarious theme of the race card.

Here’s the full interview:

    Love Allen West!

  • Darren Anderson

I could only hope that Allen would run for president. Honor, Ingredient, and Intelligence all rolled into one person.

    • Anonymous

Wouldn’t that be terrific! He would make a great president.

      Palin/West

West more of a leader than Palin. West/Palin.

dear leader and his minions have no character so they constantly have to play the race card. Those who blindly follow their antichrist messiah willingly fall for the race thing and work to bring on a new race war. I am glad for folks like West who can stand up and say, we don’t play that – try again.
Someone I once knew said, those that accuse the hardest are what they accuse others of being. We have the biggest racist in the White House now, and those who voted for him are much the same.

I am glad to see your hand has improved.

What you referred to above is called “projection.” I suppose all of us are capable of it, usually when someone irritates us it is because something about ourself that we see in them is causing the disturbance.

My friends who were AA members used to tell me; “When you point a finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointed back at you.”

And an old Irish wish fits right in here too; “May God grant you 10 times whatever you are wishing me right now.” <- I first saw that as a bumper sticker on the back of a car that had just cut me off in traffic. I had to smile.

My hand is feeling SO much better today! I highly recommend blown kisses and frozen broccoli as therapy! ;-)
I’ve heard that AA saying before, but the Irish one is new to me and makes one smile- yet pause and really think. I think I will write that one down so as I can check my attitude! Thanks for that bit o’ shared wisdom my friend! :-)

I am glad to oblige m’lady.

It is all part o’ the service and warranty that comes with the kiss. No extra charge. :)

The addition of Allen West to the CBC increased their collective IQ to a positive number.

Seriously though, I have found you, among the others, to be the glue that holds the whole comment part of this blog together, I think that your special mixture of humor, seriousness, and cynicism is what helps keeps me and many others returning day after day. God is smiling on you this Christmas Season and he has a special place in store for you. You are blessed. Kenny

Kenneth; Means handsome. The daffynition must have missed me though, oh well. ;-(

This is a great blog with great people.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU TOO.

Aw quit it! I heard this once from someone on here- you look mahvolas! ;-) I have a card that says the meaning of names and a Scripture verse for each one- yours has Proverbs 3:5 on it. It seems to me that you hold well to the verse, so it would make sense that you hold well to the meaning behind the name as well!

              • Anonymous

Thanks. You’re right, humility should not be self-deprecating. I try to live up to that verse but sometimes I think I’m just too smart for my own good….and then I get the reminders. Ouch.

                • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Believe me toon- I have the same thing going on. And, yes, I too get reminders ;-)

A Very Merry Christmas to you too my sister, you also are a great commenter. This has been a great last few months. God Bless you.

He’s right, it is not about race. However, if you are a low-life, lying, racist scumbag like Holder, how else are you going to excuse your conduct but by bringing skin color?

    • Anonymous

This is why I believe Democrats are racist. They consider skin color in everything they do. It seems that’s all they see, and they mold their policies around race.

    If POTUS

He would change the entire MidEast direction among other things

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Hey Joe! Merry Christmas to you!! :-D

  • Anonymous

Allen West is my hero. Hopefully I will live to see him become the POTUS.

  • Linky1

Whenever weasels get cornered, they fight back with any weapon handy. Holder has no comeback, no answer, nothing, nada, bupkis to defend himself with in this latest DOJ bungle, so, he pulls the race card, like any desperate Dumb-o-crat would.

If Gingrich wins and appoints West Sec. of Defense, it’s bad news for them radical Ay-rabs!

  • wodiej

Way to go Rep. West. Keep it up-would like to see you in a leadership position next go round.

Just why isn’t the GOP pushing and pushing and pushing to get rid of this racist, clown? I hope Brian Terry’s family sues this goverment and gets an ungodly amount of money.
