Awesome. You gotta love that man. He tells the truth. He gets America. We could use a few more good men like him.
Rep. West voted for renewing the PATRIOT Act, that's one thing that bothered me. I still admire him a great deal, but all of his previous talk about liberty & limited government didn't seem toenter his mind when voting on it Tuesday.
I saw that earlier and it does bother me. I know that he holds national security to a high degree of importance....and since he was a soldier, I can certainly understand that.
However, the past few years have re-awakened Americans to what kind of damage a big government can do with the wrong people in power- and since there are no perfect people, government can not be either. I just hope that he changes his mind when it comes up again.
As much as he wants safety for Americans, he has to realize (most specifically) from his constituents if they agree or disagree. I know that many of the Tea Party people disagree with his vote, but I don't know if that sentiment also reflects his district, which he should go to for his decision.

Excellent choice. Allen West is incredibly articulate, well informed and a great Washington-esque leader.
Allen West is what Barack Obama could have been if he hadn't wasted his life dabbling in marxism, socialism and chicagoism.
Hopefully some of the other networks will broadcast the speech live, despite West being contrary to the media's narrative of what a conservative should be.
So was Michael Steele...then he got on Rev. Al's show and played right into the race game. I was disappointed. I wish that blacks who have become successful could get over their ethnicity for one second and act like men instead of the perpetual victim.
Wow, nothing like a race-baiting troll to start off your day. Did you put any level of coherent thought into that post or did you just puke it up like the bile that it is? It speaks volumes about you on so many levels.
I wish I could go to CPAC, but it is just too expensive. Also, now that they have included the Moslem agenda, I would not give them my money.
