Allen West: I don’t want to see America become like Zimbabwe where people don’t trust their elections

Allen West’s campaign told Fox News this morning that there appears to be a willful attempt to steal the election. Apparently all early voting ballots were supposed to be recounted this weekend but according to Eric Shawn, the St. Lucie canvassing board only counted less than half. This is significant because West is only down by 1907 votes which is a .058% gap. An automatic recount is triggered at .05%. West’s campaign also cited the 140% turnout as troubling because it doesn’t match the number of people that showed up, saying that something is being hidden.

Allen West himself told Eric Shawn this morning that he doesn’t want to see America become like Zimbabwe where people don’t trust their electoral process and he implored Ms. Gertrude Walker, the Supervisor of Elections in St. Lucie County to have a complete recount of all votes in the public eye.

    Welcome to Zimbabwe.

    • Sandra123456

We are getting there. Got a Sort of black president trying to make us Zimbabwe. We do have the UN voting monitors now.

It is interesting that the Florida Presidential results just came out and Romney lost by less than 1% too. Maybe we ought to have an investigation into how many counties in Florida had 150% of registered voters voting.

      • Orangeone

And the NBPP was in PA, PA expelled the court-ordered GOP poll watchers and prohibited observation until yet another court intervention. It’s quick and easy to open the machine, remove ballots and toss in the ones you want inside. Ballots are not numbered.

      • colliemum

Aaand – the paper, where that story was originally published before being picked up by newsbusters, said that this was quite natural when over 80% in a district are dem voters.
Sure, because all non-dem voters probably didn’t dare to go and vote, thanks to the NBPP.
It’s called voter suppression – but of course, it’s only the Republicans who’d do such a thing …

    • Patriot077

I just sent his campaign some more money and hope he pins them to the mat. The entire process was corrupted. Silence from the RNC and the Florida Republicans? Expose them too.

      • Conniption Fitz

The RNC is the DNC just a different color/texture of the same you-know-what.

        • I agree. I’m not sure the party is clean up-able. I think it is time to start a new party.

          • My research has led me to believe that conservatives are going to have to abandon the republicans, and liberals are going to have to abandon democrats. In doing so, they will have to force media coverage of our fraudulent elections. Electronic elections have to be rejected, and our election system tossed out for a new transparent one. No third party will ever gain ground in elections with the system that we have. The two parties have to be usurped in such a way as to make them irrelevant. Public opinion has to be turned against the two parties, while simultaneously offering a reasonable option.

The problem is that the democrats and republicans will use their monopoly on force to stop any movement. There will be violence if anyone threatens their power base. An American revolt on the system will be met with government tightening the reigns on the public in many ways. They don’t just have all the guns, but they can take control of food supplies, water, power, money, fuel, etc.

Republicans and democrats will shut down this country to keep their power. That is the problem that has to be worked out if anyone wants to make a real run at it.

I just finished watching this movie. It starts out a bit strange, but is worth sticking it out. It describes in detail who is really in power. It might just change your world view. I didn’t agree with certain elements, but the rest is just fact, and makes sense.

            • I don’t have time to watch right now but I did bookmark it for later. I agree that parties need to be dumped and as the economy continues to get worse and people realize they have been had people just might do that.

      • bongobear

Where is Rubio on this? Has he said anything regarding this recount attempt?

        • Patriot077

Not to my knowledge, though I know he endorsed West in the general.

          • bongobear

Seems like he’d have something to say on the subject…it is his state. This whole thing smells bad.

            • Patriot077

I haven’t heard anyone from Florida comment on it. Not the State Republican party, the Governor or the State A.G.

But I don’t live there so my knowledge is limited.

  • Oh we have already been there. Iowa caucus anyone?

  • I love it that he is fighting so hard, but I have to say, with the UN monitoring things, the thug tactics that were seen and evidence of fraud in so many places, I think we’re already in Zimbabwe 🙁

    • Conniption Fitz

Zimbabwe or Russia – Remember, Putin gave Obama some election winning tips.

      • Yeah next election they will just toss dissenters in jail like Putin does.

  • kong1967

It won’t happen. They are hiding something…..or a lot of things….and it’s called corruption. How nice of them to coincidentally stop recounting just before West picked up enough votes for an automatic recount.

I’m tired of this rigged bullcrap. They are so obviously breaking the law that the FBI should be crawlling over the place ready to throw people in the slammer. Yet, they get away with it. 140% turnout is an immediate indication of fraud because it’s impossible. When obvious fraud is detected there should be an automatic recount anyway.

    • CPAguy

The 140% has already been explained. That is not a problem (everybody had two cards, but the machine counts each card as two. Turnout was ~70% of registered voters.

      • Patriot077

One of the posters from Florida posted something last night about ballot pages not being separated when you vote so I’m suspicious of that explanation. And we know that they did “discover” several hundred votes in this partial recount which is evidence that the count is indeed inaccurate. I want all the ballots recounted and I think West was right on when he said the ballots and machines should be impounded.

      • kong1967

I don’t know what this is about “two cards”. I just went in, SHOWED MY ID, they marked my name off the list after I left my signature, then I voted. What’s this about cards?

      • kong1967

In Philadelphia there were 59 precincts where not a single person voted for Romney. This is downright impossible. I could see maybe only pullling 15% in a highly Democrat area, but not 0%. Can you explain that?

        • CPAguy

I’m not implying an absence of fraud, just explaining how the 141% was calculated.

The vote change in West’s race is very fishy…however, the 141% isn’t the issue.

          • kong1967

Yeah, but I didn’t have a clue what you were talking about. As I said, I don’t know what’s going on with the cards you mentioned, because we don’t use cards here. You said that each person gets two cards, and the machines count each card as two votes or something. You completely lost me.

            • CPAguy

Two cards/pages/etc…that is why the count isn’t of actual voters…just documents related to each voter.

              • kong1967

                Ah, I understand now.

    • Who appoints the head of the FBI?

The POTUS. Therefore he sets the priorities and agenda. Yes I am saying our justice system is also corrupted.

      • kong1967

Lol, and I won’t argue with you. Corruption is commonplace in our government.

  • Sober_Thinking

Sounds like Allen West is indeed pursuing the “honorable course” and “the people’s business”.

This reeks of corruption and scandal. But you know… so does the White House.

Business as usual in America… for now.

I pray that Allen West is vindicated here.

  • tvlgds

I likened it more to Iran or Venezuela, but I have ZERO faith in our election system anymore. When we have this kind of fraud, voter intimidation by the new black panthers AGAIN, voter machines controlled by foreign countries owned by Soros, GOP poll watchers tossed out of polling places–we, the people, are screwed.

  • tshtsh

It is too late for me, I do not trust the electoral process. b.o. was very comfortable he knew he had it in the bag regardless of the turnout. Harry Reid tried it out so however they are manuvering the system it works.

    • Orangeone

First run was 2008. They learned from 2010 that they had to step things u.

      • Joe

  • IwjwI

I hope that Allen West takes this all the way to the end and has this county put up as an example of what has gone on all over the country.

Something really stinks when in all the states with voter ID Obama lost and without voter ID he won.
Counties reporting more votes than people have to be looked at.

  • colliemum

A ‘resounding victory’ is now a difference by 0.58%, after the obvious attempt at the recount yesterday to finagle the results?

Both Murphy and the dems should be ashamed of themselves – but then, when was a leftie ever ashamed!

    • Orangeone

You must have a conscience in order to be ashamed.

      • colliemum

  • IwjwI

Paper ballots won’t even work because of all the corruption.

    • Orangeone

Paper ballots with proper audit procedures will work. But it must start with true voter rolls and voter ID.

    • Yes they will, along with physical redundant counts which must match up.
This election was stolen by vote flipping millions of votes.

  • Rshill7

I read that Romney got zero votes in Philadelphia. Zero? That’s not very many. That’s not even any! Yeah, this entire election is a complete sham/scam.

    • Orangeone

The Tea Party in those areas need to file a lawsuit. They can attest, under oath, that they voted for Romney.

      • Rshill7

My wife sent their website a link to the zero vote story.

        • Orangeone

    • NYGino

It’s been said that the Arab world (Mesopotamia) is the origin of the use of the zero as we know it. How appropriate.

      • The muslims stole math concepts from the Hindus who they invaded

        • Rshill7

Would you agree though that the concept of Zero could be stumbled upon by trying to approximate the virtue level of Mohammed?

    • Joe

Yes – They did TWIST it!

      • NYGino

Joe, did I meet you in the Peppermint Lounge back in the 60’s?

  • anneinarkansas

We are already there. This election was stolen.
    Obama’s lifelong dream has begun.

  • aPLWBinAK

“West’s campaign also cited the 140% turnout as troubling”……..and in the oval orifice, President Jarrett was screaming for heads to be brought to her on sticks. Her epic meltdown is due to the fact that she demanded, and was promised 200% turnout….

  • Betsey_Ross

140% turnout is more than troubling. It’s nothing but fraud. Where do you go to get relief from this?

    • Joe

Soime kind of Revolution – peaceful I hope!

  • Howzah123

    The Left loves Voter Fraud

    It’s how they get elected

  • WhiteGuy2

It obvious the Liberals are stealling this seat. The question is what do we do about it?

  • Joe

    Dear Lt. Col. West,

    Please open your eyes

You and We have been deceived

Look around – We are NOW a third World Country

    Have a nice day!

PS. It is time to play dirty – Birth Certificate – ss# – drug use – BENGHAZI

If the Republicans do not – Then they are the traitors

    We have NOTHING TO LOSE!

Call me whatever you wish – Birther – Racist – Crazy – whatever you wish

I really don’t care at this point – No more Mr. Nice Guy

and Get rid of John Boehner

    • Haywoodjbl

Joe you are 100% correct…..gloves off you idiots in Washington….No more nice…..get in the mud with these Traitors

  • puma_for_life

If they did a recount nation-wide for the presidential election, how much you want to be Romney won?

    • Constance

I’d bet my life on it. Yes, I am that sure.

    • In OH Obama got 2800 at a venue, Romney got 30,000
Paul Ryan regularly pulled MORE to his speeches than Obama
Elizabeth Warren had a rally with zero people showing up

      • puma_for_life

Crowd size does not seem to equal votes. Ron Paul was also drawing huge crowds during the primaries, but it did not equal votes. In his case, however, many in the crowds were not registered Republicans so would not or could not vote in the primary. In Romney/Ryan case, I don’t know who comprised the crowds. It would seem those were GOP voters or at least voters who were planning on voting for the ticket. Warren is a Dem, so she won. Scott Brown has no one to blame but himself. The reason he won originally is because the Tea Party was there campaigning for him. As soon as he was elected, he dumped the tea party, dissed, so he now gets his just desserts.

        • RP was not running in the general.
PUMAs…aren’t you Hillary supporters? She’s just as bad.

          • puma_for_life

I know he was not running in the general, but there are many examples of huge crowds not equalling votes.

Yes, I am a former Hillary suppporters. Pumas will never vote for or support Obama or, for many, vote for a Dem ever again for the rest of their lives, because of the mass corruption and fraud that party and that candidate perpetrated and represent. I would never vote for Hillary again; she puts her party before her country.

            • Wisewoman2

Hey I count myself as a Puma too. It stands for “Party Unity My *ss”. We refused to vote for the party ever again as long as the ultra liberals are in the drivers seat. My personal pledge is to never vote for a democrat again. That includes Hillary because she did not fight the fraudster Obama and instead joined the team.

“Allen West himself told Eric Shawn this morning that he doesn’t want to see America become like Zimbabwe where people don’t trust their electoral process…”

    Too late for that.

  • deeme

I’ve gone through it a million times in my head, how easy it would be to secure the vote and even be able to look it up with your receipt and make sure your vote was counted…this is really crazy..and why are judges deciding know they have one from every county in their pocket..>?? So much for a secure vote ,..too funny that this president is always pushing a level playing ground and it’s anything but. Just look at all the rules they didn’t follow when it came to wearing political hats etc at the polls..His picture was on the wall at one of the places. They just miraculously pull whatever they need out of their you know whats whenever they need it..

  • US Elections are sheeeet, they are not decided by the people they are corrupted.
SCYTL Barcelona and VoteMatic of Venezuela counting our votes…massive vote flipping with same algorithm of 2008.
Michelle visited Barcelona a few years ago.
Ohio and PA had OVER 100% voter turnout, Florida was a shoe-in for GOP. There’s no way 0 won this.

    • colliemum

And we really have to wonder why Jeb Bush didn’t deliver, why Rubio didn’t deliver in Florida.

If they did – why are they not making a huge scandal out of this?
      Why are they so quiet?

Does Rubio really think this fraud will not happen to him when he next stands for election?

      • Jeb is next in line from the Bush patriarchy.

      • Bush machine & its playboy in Rubio are busy with a DREAM ACT/AMNESTY push….

  • Haywoodjbl

If there is NOTHING to hide why would this woman not open it to the public for a recount…

Also, the FBI should be involved and all phone records should be traced on this woman….they will lead right back to Pelosi et al. The probably told her exactly how to cheat

When the electoral process is no longer valid, neither is the Consent of the People.

  • NYGino

Not to worry folks. Word is the Democrats are sending in a well known local “Republican” to do a recount; Mr. Scott Van Duzer (remember him? the pizza shop hugger?). You can sleep easily now.

Townhall’s Rachel Alexander: Obama Likely Won Re-Election Through Election Fraud

  • notebene

Again with the “forward”! If he’s so damned certain Murphy won, then he shouldn’t be worried about a recount! This is not the only race that really needs to be looked into and I’m thankful that at least Col. West is taking a stand! Too bad the GOP turned and ran with their tail between their legs and allowed this sham all across our nation! We are Zimbabwe now and our elections will forever be a joke!

I wonder if we can get the votes for Alan West for “SPEACKER” of the House.

You all know he does not have to be an elected official right?

OR is John Bonehead the choice of OBUMMER?

I know to many RHINOS to get this accomplished, but would that not be AMAZING if some of them were willing to make a STAND with the Colonel?

The Rhinos will sell us down the road on debt and TAX talks.

Funny how the so called black caucus leaders and the NAACP are totally silent on this (but we know whose side they are on). They are useless… usually they would be all over this and we wouldn’t hear the end of it from the mainstream media. Now, not a squeak when it comes to a Black Conservative.

    • CBC and NAACP are wannabe black massahs

  • mike3e4r7

Please call Florida Governor Rick Scott’s office. I just did. Ask him to becom involved in this situation. Phone: 850-488-7146

    • fay010819Texas

Just made the call. Had to leave a voice message (was willing to hold, but it went to voice mail).

      • mike3e4r7

Same here, I left a voice mail.

        • fay010819Texas

I hope more people make the call. I want to know why more people are not fighting to look into the other states.

          • mike3e4r7

I think we need to look to where we still have power – at the state level, and make that our line in the sand.

  • mike3e4r7

By the way, if any of you missed the Mark Levin show last Friday, it is a must listen. You can hear it at his web site. Very powerful, in particular the first 30 minutes.

  • RosiesSeeingRed

This is why I feel so hopeless. Not only is this entire election a sham, but there seems to be nothing we can do about it. Allen West cannot fight this fight alone, but the rest of his party has rolled and just accepted the fraud, Romney included. I’m disgusted and inconsolable over what took place last week.

    • NYGino

Rosie, please don’t think I sound like that sleezball Bill Clinton when I say:

      I feel your pain.

  • thanks so much for keeping us updated on this, scoop! i keep coming to this site to stay updated with the allen west situation.

  • Resounding victory, eh? With 1900+ votes? You gotta bee kidding me. Open the books so we can see what you are hiding! If West lost, then be open about it!! Nonsense.

  • mike3e4r7

Does anyone know how legislation is introduced on the state level, in particular here in Florida? Florida still has a Republican governor and controls both chambers of the state legislature, although they lost their super-majority from 2010.

Could a voting reform law with all the necessary reforms to combat voter fraud that have been tossed about here be voted on directly via a referendum or would it have to be introduced through the state legislature?

Would the smart approach be to partner up with conservative members of the legislature and work with them to develope a bill that could adress these issues?

  • mike payton

I don’t trust the GOP, I damn well don’t trust the Democrats. Obama couldn’t have rigged this many ballots without GOP support. Frankly, I’m done even pretending this is a free republic. this is a fascist welfare state.

    The only options are:
    * Organized massive civil disobedience, where every single “maker” simply refuses to pay any income taxes. Let them pay for their own welfare state. they can’t jail us all.

    * Secession.

    Those are our ONLY options.

  • MominNV

With all due respect, Mr. West, We are already there & last Tuesday was the proof.

  • Jim Botts

Do you see any powerful GOP people even lifting a finger to help this man?

NOPE! And do you know why? The GOP doesn’t want conservatives like West.

The GOP intentionally redrew the congressional districts in Florida to squeeze this man out. They tried to do the same with Bachman also, and they almost wiped her out.

How long can conservatives support the GOP only to be spit upon? I’m not a big fan of 3rd party, but seriously. How long before we finally have some self respect and tell the GOP to drop dead.

Libertarian party has ballot access in all 50 states. Yep, it might take 20 years to finally win, but the worst case scenario has happened. And when the reality finally hits there is going to be hell to pay. They would vote 3rd party by the millions.

    • Wisewoman2

This is what the moderate to conservative democrats did. They sat by while the ultra liberals (believe in abortion up to the last month, infanticide of infants and older people, gay marriage, homosexual rights, etc) in the party took over. It started with Ted Kennedy vs Jimmie Carter. Old Ted lost the primary to Carter but he wanted the so called “superdelegates” to vote for him despite the fact that their states had voted for Carter. He thought he could change their minds and challenged Carter at the convention. That did not work because the delegates had integrity and voted for the person who won their state. There was a schism in the party. As dems contined to lose the presidency they decided that the libs were the answer. They threw away their principles and the libs took over and ousted them from the party replacing them with the ultra libs. Do not allow this to happen to your repub party. All of you stick together, stick with your principles and fight these SOBs for the good of the country.

  • stage9

“I don’t want to see America become like Zimbabwe where people don’t trust their elections.”

    too late.

  • Conservator1

After the election results of six days ago, I concluded America is already like Zimbabwe. West’s race wasn’t the only problem as The Right Scoop reported today. In Philadelphia, there were 59 voting divisions in the city and Mitt Romney lost to Obama by a combined vote tally of 19,605 to 0.

After the election we learned that Iran had fired upon a U.S. drone over international waters. Hey, but that’s nothing compared to the revelations about Director Petraeus’s alleged affair from a FBI investigation that began last spring albeit Obama only learned about it on election night.

The irony is beyond belief; the FBI is a governmental agency that reports to the Department of Justice. I’m sure Eric Holder didn’t know about the investigation of the CIA Director involving the possibility of leaked or illegally obtained classified information. Otherwise, he surely would have told the President about it prior to the day of the election.

Indeed Americans; it’s time to move along because there’s obviously nothing to see. Also, don’t worry about the upcoming Congressional intelligence hearings on the terrorist attack in Benghazi. Petraeus, the guy who wrote the talking points on the YouTube video and faux protest, won’t be testifying initially as planned because he had to resign in disgrace because of his infidelity.

  • Too late Mr. West. I already don’t trust the election results. Too many irregularities that are a mathematical improbability.

  • 911Infidel

Zimbabwe used to be the breadbasket of Africa. It produced enough food to feed itself and all of Africa. Now it is a basketcase having to import food just to feed its own people. Why? Because the commies in the ANC decided to take all the farm lsnd from the whites and kill them; many by boiling them alive. It is a genocide that is now spreading to South Africa. And of course like all commies the governments of those sick societies took away any ability of the whites to defend themselves against the implimentors of the pogrom against them.

All because of race…Two prosperous countries decided to adopt third-world insane policies based on race. White bad. Kill whitey vs black good; steal whitey’s land and houses and give the spoils to the buddies in the ANC.

How’s that race-based outcome program working out? Just like any other commie program…you now have the kulaks who need to be fed by the state and the elites who could care less. And of course you have a scapegoat to hang all the states problems on and to direct a genocide towards.

Watch out America, this is your future. This is the kind of genocidal hatred that your teachers are teaching in Indoctrination U.

  • NJK

It’s easy to committ election fraud against the GOP. When you have an enemy who doesn’t fight, you win. They are the biggest bunch of sad sacks. They want to point the finger at everyone but themselves.

YOU DON’T FIGHT ELECTION FRAUD OR ANYTHING ELSE GOP, THEREFORE, YOU ARE LOSERS. How else can you try to explain it to these brain dead morons. So they want to take advice from the left? More illegal immigration will get you votes, says the commie to the GOP. So what do they do, accept the advice of their enemy.

It’s that rotten Tea Party says the commies to the GOP. So what does the GOP do? They attack those in the Tea Party who want to help them. LOSERS. JUST WHERE A BIG SIGN THAT SAYS KICK ME! DO IT ROVE, DO IT BOEHNER, CANTOR, ALL OF YOU. LOSE FOREVER. THE VOTE WAS STOLEN FROM YOU, AND YOUR SOLUTION IS TO BAD MOUTH THE TEA PARTY, NOT ASK FOR A RECOUNT.

  • NYGino

They’ve come up with an explanation in St Lucie County Fl. why the vote count was 247.383 votes among 175,554 voters. It was a two page ballot, and we’re supposed to believe that in the year 2012 our voting technology won’t take this into consideration?

So, if this is true that leaves a few questions.

Is this the same thing that happened in all the other +100% county ballots? and,
Why is this woman still in charge of elections? (She just won re-election to this position)

She’s a Dem. I would love to see her correspondence over the last few months….or days.

  • Dodoforever Canspell

The time has come for the Tea Party patriots to divorce themselves from the cowardly Republicans and form a third party. I am stunned that the GOP are not backing West in this fight to get the votes recounted. What is going on?
Also, I was surprised and disappointed that Romney conceded within such a short time on Nov 6. There were reports of computer glitches all over and yet the man didn’t question any of the irregularities. Did the GOP agree in advance to let it go, even if they suspected fraud, for the good of the country? BECAUSE, we all know there would have been riots all over in each and every State if Obama had lost. We know that, don’t we?

    • Martin2717

That’s what I’ve been saying. Screw the GOP and the Dems. Form a new party, NOW. We also need to revamp the media. These corrupt parties don’t care if they cheat as long as they win. This two-party system will not last forever and we can’t survive as a nation if this nonsense continues.

    • DuraMater

I suspect this to indeed be the case, particularly in Florida where Jeb Bush made the personal call to Mitt telling him he had lost Florida, even as counting continued, even as numerous reports of irregularities in voting were confirmed to have occurred.

Many here in SoFla were already flogging the state reminding the nation of that terrible, awful, very bad election in 2000. Yeah, they were already putting out the message…”we are soooooo embarrassed about our inability to handle elections”.
Jeb, squeamish and hypersensitive re the image of his state would probably rather be waterboarded than to see there be a statewide recount, even in cases of potential voter fraud. ….and the GOP talkers are already throwing Jeb’s name around for 2016.

    • yeah where is everyone who is standing up for west? i just see random internet people like us. but where are the GOP leaders, where are other famous GOP figures?
