This is awesome. Allen West says that he doesn’t care about his critics or the liberal media and that he’s not going to sit around quietly and watch anyone destroy the country that he loves so dearly. He is going to continue to use the kind of language that he needs to get people’s attention to the truth.

    I too love this country and refuse to stand by and watch these Marxist Socialists under the name “Progressives” ruin this great country .But they will hear us.They will hear ALL of us come November and make sure they are the first to the unemployment line after election night.Keep calling them for what they truly are:Marxists hellbent on destroying the U.S. and transforming it into a European like welfare state.

      I truly wish all they had in mind was a European-like socialism.

      European nations are heavy with social services but how many have nearly 50% of their citizens who pay no taxes and live off the others taxes? Of those countires how many have the extraordinary tax burden on the remaining citizens that compares to our overt and hidden taxes at the local, state and federal level? How many European nations have open immigration policies that encourage enemies of the state and then provide full entitlement, rights and benefits of citizenship to the illegals?

      But for a brief intermission under Reagan, this had been underway for a hundred years. November 2012 may provide us a beachhead but the battle back will be a long one. Allen West is a lone voice, but the voice of leadership – exactly what we lack. Exactly what has been exorcised from American government.

        If we were to regain control of our country, it would still be a crap load of a mess getting back to sustainable prosperity. The big cities would have to fall, and the rural communities would be overwhelmed with people looking for sustenance. The financial sector economy would still have to collapse and go away, while farming and industry get back underway. The bankers would have to be put in their place, and everyone would lose their retirements. Starting over with a new sovereign currency would take time.

        I fear that I would still have to go on a really long camping trip. 🙂

    This is what it boils down to. Our entire government, our entire media, is intertwined layers of deceit and illusion. A complex game of propaganda. The destruction of America is not by accident or incompetence, it is by design.

    Those who deceive, those who fail to inform are complicit. Should Americans ever be shown the truth, this all crumbles.

    There are few like Allen West. Time is short.

    The truth is like shedding light on the progressives. Col West is shinning the truth on these Marxist! It is my hope that many, specifically, Black Americans are listening to him. You know with the CBC anytime someone mentions slavery they throw a fit. But I think its a little difficult with Col. West because he is a true Black American and neither the CBC or the liberal media know what to do with him. Col. West is enlightening to all of us when he reference the Constitution and communicates how all of us are in danger with these progressive/marxist in the administration and the congress. I really appreciate the advice that he left for Mitt Romney which is from Alexander the Great, Fortune favors the bold! Romney must be bold and truthful to win this campaign and stop allowing Obama and his media wing men to set the agenda.

      It gets easier as each day goes by, considering what the choice is now, on both sides of the political spectrum.

    • Romney is nothing but a businessman and a failed governor. Obama? A back bencher, insignificant senator that accomplished nothing. Neither are good for the country.

      LTC West, on the other hand, is a studied, well read, experienced, Soldier and Statesman. Things Romney and Obama pretend to be. An administration under West (and maybe North) would be the thing American needed to finally turn back in the right direction: back towards the Constitution and the rule of law.

      Where do you see those kinds of values in Romney or Obama? NOWHERE. LTC West represents precisely the kind of president we need: not a politician, but a patriot, and a patriot that is unafraid to be a patriot.

      Even though he had voted for Obama, McChrystal and his new commander in chief failed from the outset to connect. The general first encountered Obama a week after he took office, when the president met with a dozen senior military officials in a room at the Pentagon known as the Tank. According to sources familiar with the meeting, McChrystal thought Obama looked “uncomfortable and intimidated” by the roomful of military brass. Their first one-on-one meeting took place in the Oval Office four months later, after McChrystal got the Afghanistan job, and it didn’t go much better.

      The Army and Marines produce people that should be running this country. People of Honor and Integrity; concepts alien to the Obamas. Now, you can see why he’s so intimidated and uncomfortable in their presence. A guy that’s lived his life spitting on them/us (Veterans/Active Duty), and everything they/we stand for, and looking down on them/us, finds out the hard way who truly is the inferior. Being confronted with a guy like LTC West that has openly stated that he “can’t stand” Obama must be a true nightmare for him. No wonder he can’t get any work done.

    I believe we are watching the vetting of the future Vice President West. If not Romney is making a mistake, he can take the conservative message of personal responsibility to the USA people and millions stand with him. One man can make a difference, that man is Col.       one thing is certain-romney needs an outspoken VP. I will give romney some slack until after the convention but then he is going to need to ramp it up.

  • Well said again Allen West! I love this country and am appalled by what is happening to it. We need more honest, conservative, Constitutional loving, American patriots joining this race. From the smallest community boards and councils to State government to Congress and Senate!! I pray we have a chance to turn this nation back around.

      I may just have to look into running for local office. I have a cousin who is a state senator. He was a state rep before that. Maybe he could give me some pointers.

      • Do it librtifriend! What’s the worse it could do? We need regular folks who believe in American values, small government, the Constitution to run. They need to start somewhere- local office, school board, county commissioner whatever. If I was a citizen, I would have run long ago. No one would vote for me, because I’d be too radical I’m sure, but I would have run. We need regular folks again who know what real life is.

      What we see now did not start when obama took office. It has been the culmination of decades of conservatives sitting on their hands, putting RINO’s into office and not expecting accountability from them. We have had many Republican presidents who have overstepped their bounds on authority, abdicated responsibility to the American people on various fronts including illegal immigrants flooding our country, fraud, waste and abuse in entitlement programs and congressional pet projects. Bush Jr. was the last straw.

      If we had been acting like the Christians we proclaim that we are, this country would not look like the bottom of a sewer hole. It seems the only way God can get us to pay attention is through suffering. “The love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10)

    I think the times we now live in is exactly how 1775 must have felt for those early patriots. We must remain free or everything they sacrificed is wasted, because of us. I will not die an old man, laying in my bed wishing I would have done more to preserve our Republic!

  • West could be the next Ronald Reagan. Like West, Reagan didn’t care what the liberals or the mainstream media thought about him. In fact, Reagan actually made fun of the mainstream media and ignored them. Shows you what real leaders are made of. Real leaders actually stand for something. They don’t wait for focus groups to tell them what to believe in, they have a basic set of core principles that they live by, and you either take them or leave them based on those principles. West is a leader like that. He has a great future ahead of him. I hope to see him as president some day.

    • We need to get Rep. West into the Florida Governor’s chair in 2014. Then he can run for President in 2016 with the right sort of resume—so that even those idiots in the Republican party will have to accept he’s the real deal.

    I love that Allen West doesn’t pander and hem and haw and just tells it like it is. Every time someone asks him if he wants to take back his comments he says no. I meant what I said. And then he explains them. I wish more members of congress and the senate were spoke like him.

    More awesomeness from a man’s man. He’s like Washington who would regard a President like Obama, who leads from the rear, with utter contempt. Washington isn’t the only great American who had/has multiple bullet holes in his coat. Col West is another such great American who also refuses to lead from the rear; whose bullet holes are leftist darts that keep missing the mark.

    Tyranny only succeedes when good men are silent. Spartans like Col West never back down from a fight.

    Oops, we did it again. And this after swearing up and down we wouldn’t. We let the media pick our candidate. It all started with Romney’s faux victory in Iowa. It continues with the media’s silence on the shenanigans being played at the state conventions to assure renegade delegates get back in line.

    If we are indeed stuck with Romney (please delegates, ignore your state bindings for the good of the country!), then a plurality of delegates from five states can shove Col. West as VP down Romney’s throat as he has been shoved down ours. Now wouldn’t that be a better choice than, say, bean counter Rob Portman? Yes. Can we trust Romney not to make such an idiotic pick? No.

    A few months ago I had dreamed of a Gingrich/West ticket. Can you imagine those two fearless warriors together? But if Obama is the progressive’s puppet, then we will have our puppet too. It’s up to all of us to force Romney to be the person he pretends he is.

      I agree with the article, but the big problem here is that people had the chance to pick someone else and the people chose Romney. Whatever the reasoning, they have spoken, they have voted, and they picked the plastic politician.

      No use bemoaning it now. I hear everyone saying Romney ought to say this or that, and it doesn’t matter. Worse, people get a false hope that someone will miraculously save us all at a convention. They won’t.

      The people voted. They rejected all the others and picked this guy. And as for Candidate X; if they had wanted to run, they would have done so. It sucks, but here we are.

    I think Allen West needs to keep himself seperate from establishment candidates like Gov Romney…..someday in the near future America will be ready for a man like Col West …but not yet.

    If Romney wins and does not slow the growth of Gub’mnt in his first term he should be primary’d by a Allen West or someone like him.

  • Col. West is definitely what is needed but he can’t do it alone, folks. We need to start at the ground up. look into the GOP at state and local level. GET IN THERE so that when we have conservative caucuses WE will be able to control the GOP, not the DC elites.
    WE have to help.
    Otherwise all is lost and the elitists will surely own us forever.
