Responding to recent comments by CBC member Andre Carson, Allen West says the use of words like ‘lynching’ is reprehensible and that he is reconsidering his membership to the CBC:

I have wondered for a few months why he never joined them , it would speak volumes if he chooses to leave them , let’s all hope he does .

    • Anonymous

I always figured he joined so he would be at their table behind closed doors.

      • Anonymous

Also, I think he wanted to be a voice of reason in the organization to change it from within. Isn’t that what the progressives have been doing for years?

        • Anonymous

          Great point, J.

    • Anonymous

I understand your point however maybe he can influence them in the right direction.

NO WAY….he should remain in the CBC & be as big of a thorn in their side as he possibly can. Embarrass them & raise their ire to the point to where they can’t control themselves.

This man will be President one day.

If we are so fortunate. If America wakes up, turns off its TV sets, and ventures into the realm of independent thinking.

We do, after all, have a long track record of nominating and electing deceivers intent on ruling us instead of leading us.

West in the Congressional Black Caucus is a pearl before swine.

  • Anonymous

Thank you Rep. West, my support is behind you.

Another great black American marginalized and ignored by the champions of their race.

    Thomas Sowell: Dismantling America

    • Anonymous

Thomas Sowell is brilliant, he can explain complicated situations so even I can understand. His wisdom is awesome- tough problems= simple answers. I truly admire him. And on top of everything he has a beautiful sense of humor.

West is a Christian that is why they hate him. They serve the devil and he serves Christ. They feel the Lords presence in him –and they hate how it feels-it condemns them.

      • Anonymous

        Yup, that’s probably it.

        You’ve cracked the case.

just in case anyone hasn’t seen your posts before.

            don’t you like my posts?

            • Anonymous

Was in reply to lphonic. I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

        • Anonymous

your obviously not a Christian and therefore spiritually blind.

    • Anonymous

I love Thomas Sowell, he is a man of grace, intelligence, morality and dignity.

  • puma_for_life

    I’m glad he is reconsidering.

If he feels this way about the black caucus, why did he ever join in the first place? They’ve always been full of racebaiters. I thought his reason for joining was to essentially bring in some common sense and a new spirit. I don’t think anything would be accomplished if he quit, but I certainly would not hold that against him! I guess what I’d like to see is for his common sense to be contageous … wishful thinking.

That was shocking. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I have serious reservations about Allen West but even I thought he would do better than that.

Is this the same guy who fired off an email to Debbie Wasserman Shultz calling her “vile, unprofessional ,and despicable,” “a coward,” “characterless,” and “not a Lady,” and demanding that she “shut the heck up” all because of some perceived personal slight?

And the most he can muster up in defense of the Tea Party is that he’s thinking about resigning his membership in the CBC? That’s beyond the pale. Unbelievable. What a mouse.

We are so used to political liars and cheats that hate America and our Constitution that many of us have become a bit guarded about embracing politicians as hero’s and patriots – and I think it’s wise to take our time, and see what they do not what they tells us. Let time and their actions, tell us who they really are…

    • Anonymous

I understand your point about having reservations about politicians but the case that you were referring to Shultz attacked him repeatedly and he let her have it- and she had it coming.

Congressman Carson’s words are unspeakably offensive. He should be punished by the House leadership.

    • Anonymous

Your words on a previous thread a few minutes ago were/are quite offensive too.

      • Anonymous

I speak my mind rshill7. also when I speak I do so to provoke.

In this racist administration…Only white people are punished for racist comments and actions.

  • Philo Beddoe

West is at the crossroads of his career.

Does he jump on the wagon with the CBC and forever be known as a race baiting ideologue or does he get far away from this group of thugs and promote racial unification and, America first. Which is something Colin Powell could have done but never would have.

Should he get away from the racist comments and promotes American unity, he will become more just as famous if not more famous than MLK but totally respected by America for his allegiance to America and American values, something that MLK never could due to white prostitutes and communists that he had surrounded himself with.

Sounds like West is going in the right direction

west is a servant of Christ first . A politician second . The cross road he is facing is whether he is going to continue to serve the Lord or rulers of this age. We will know soon. I pray he makes the correct decision.

The BLACKS have had the center stage for 50 yrs now … It’s time to talk about how WHITEY has had to watch while they eat all the candy .

“Reconsidering” Congressman? What has been said cannot be unsaid. The CBC can’t un-ring the bell. You’re a field grade officer and you know how to make a command decision. Pull the trigger, leave the CBC and keep company with the sane and sober.

    • Anonymous

Give him a minute. It’s not time to abandon the mission just yet. He was hoping to be a positive influence in that group, which may be a fool’s errand. If he means what he said, then we’ll see if he confronts them, if he yields to them, or if he leaves them.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Florey/100002543536293 Mike Florey

I respectfully disagree. It was time for him to bail out the minute Maxine Waters told the Tea Party to “Go to Hell”. A minute of hesitation is 59 seconds too long.

        • Anonymous

I’m a bit late, but I will comment here. Mike, I’m really torn on this. This is what the Alinskite vermin do… create scenes and histrionics for their own consumption to inject oxygen into their slime infested cesspools. By doing this they want a reaction… and I will agree that the conservative reaction on anything is slow, wanting, or non-existent… but it does not matter what they say or do because the consensus Media Party (the shock troops of the Democrat Party) won’t allow it unless it puts the conservatives in a bad light.

West could argue that Waters is just a pathetic loose canon… but now that the whole CBC has chimed in… now would be a turn for a “contemplative” West to express his opinion… but is he calculating? Calculating for best effect when and where to really address the Democrat plantation mentality. Is West being equivocal, weak, naive. He knew what they were like when he joined. He can’t step out now, so he will have to confront them at an appropriate time… and the best place for him to call them out is in Congress itself when he has the opportunity. He will embarrass them then to the best effect. At least I hope that’s what he doing. He could call out their beggarly racism at that time and then declare that in good conscience he will have no more part of it.

So with West … I honestly don’t know. Is he being strategic, applying military precision when called for. Or is he being weak and becoming a “player” as a co-opted member of congress. I just don’t know.

There. Everyone’s been yelling for a statement from West. That was it.

Personally, I’m glad he spoke up on this, and pretty quickly on the heels of these outrageous statement by the CBC

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=504624590 Chris G.

Am I the only one that considers this to be a sign of WEAKNESS by Rep. West?

I say that, due to these idiotic comments made by his fellow CBC members, that Rep. West’s (as well as Rep. Tim Scott’s, too) participation in the CBC is needed now more than ever. He should confront the CBC race-baiters both publicly & behind closed doors.

Get in their faces, Rep. West! Dare them to debate you publicly rather than tucking your tail between your legs & leaving a CBC that never wanted your membership in the 1st place!

To me, he looks embarrassed. Jumping ship immediately looks cowardly. Better to have a thoughtful contemplation………………………then leave their sorry arses in the dust.

I made it to 25 seconds and heard enough of these racist idiots. The only one that wants to see “us” divided is one of your own by the name of barry hussein nobama.
