American deaths by terrorists have been TRIVIAL, so don’t OVERREACT – CNN’s Fareed Zakaria

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria said that there have been so few deaths of Americans by terrorist hands that we need to stop overreacting.

You hear this kind of thing a lot from the left trying to downplay terrorism but it’s absolutely irrational. The difference between deaths by swimming pools and terrorists is that of will and motivation. People die because of swimming pools out of carelessness. But if terrorists had the ability, they’d slaughter each and every American on Earth. AND this doesn’t take into account the countless number of Americans who would have died if law enforcement officials had the lackadaisical attitude Fareed has.

It’s like saying, “go ahead and drop a boulder on your head, after all, very few Americans die by dropping boulders on their heads.” Well, if we all start doing it, then there will be more deaths. Idiot.
