And Trump is ever so slowly shoving Paul Ryan under a yuge bus…

Do you guys remember when Kellyanne Conway said that Trump absolutely had 100% full confidence in Mike Flynn – and then he was fired the next day? I’m getting the strangest feeling of deja vu*…..

Hmmmmm.. could it be that Trump, once again, is unwilling to take the blame for his massive incompetence as president? Nah, that couldn’t be.

From the New York Times:

Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans.

He said ruefully this week that he should have done tax reform first when it became clear that the quick-hit health care victory he had hoped for was not going to materialize on Thursday, the seventh anniversary of the act’s passage.

Two of his most influential advisers — Stephen K. Bannon, his chief strategist, and Gary D. Cohn, the National Economic Council director, who initially was in favor of pushing the bill — came to agree, and did not like the compromise that was emerging.

Ah… that’s awkward. He might be listening to the legion of supporters on social media who are screaming that Paul Ryan is a secret Muslim and he’s sabotaging him from the inside. Either way, it doesn’t look good for the replacement bill…

I thought he was the greatest negotiator in the world, and so much smarter than these stupid politicians? How did he screw this up when he’s picked only the most brilliant people to surround him!?! Clearly there are nefarious satanic elements afoot!! To the TrumpMobile!!!

*also I’ve been drinking heavily, but it’s probably deja vu.
