April Ryan’s bodyguard charged with ASSAULT for throwing out journalist

Last week we told you how April Ryan watched on as her bodyguard violently threw out a reporter who’d been invited to her keynote. The reporter contacted law enforcement and now her bodyguard has been charged by police with assault, harassment and theft:

NJ.COM – A CNN journalist’s bodyguard faces criminal charges after he allegedly forced a local reporter out of an event in New Brunswick, first taking the journalist’s camera and then twisting his arm behind his back.

Charlie Kratovil, editor of New Brunswick Today, said a guard working for long-time White House correspondent April Ryan violently removed him from the August 3 event at The Heldrich Hotel.

A criminal complaint dated August 19 charges 30-year-old Joel Morris of Country Club Hills, Illinois, with harassment, assault and theft. It alleges Morris took Kratovil’s arm and shoved it behind his back, injuring his forearm and shoulder. The harassment and theft charges stem from Morris taking the camera, according to the complaint.

In case you are just now seeing this story for the first time, this video shows what happened to the reporter, who was invited to be there:

All of this happened because April Ryan didn’t want a journalist filming her keynote. I’m sure she didn’t want to be videoed trashing Trump and thus putting her career in jeopardy. She’s a White House reporter for PBS after all.
