Yesterday when the terrible news came out about the Fresno murderer who was killing white people and yelling “Allahu Akbar,” people noticed something weird about how the Associated Press reported it:
Notice how they translate the words “Allahu Akbar” instead of just reporting what he said? Red State, where I snagged the image from, also points out that this is in complete violation of the AP stylebook.
So clearly they messed with the headline for political reasons. What other reason would they do that for?
Today, they apologized:
We deleted a tweet about a Fresno slaying suspect shouting "God is great." It failed to note he said it in Arabic. A new tweet is upcoming.

BUT they didn’t redo it with the actual, words, they just noted it was in Arabic!!!
Fresno police: Slaying suspect told them he hates white people, shouted "God is great" in Arabic before killings. https://t.co/H6KVWddkev

LOL!! That is just absurd. Everyone knows what the words mean, they’re just trying to soften the blow from another crazed Muslim killer.
And they wonder why they’re called fake news.
