  • notsofastthere

I defy anyone to be able to argue Dan’s point.

    • Sandra Varn

The don’t argue because they aren’t logical. They just believe that if they think something should be banned, then we all need to comply with those wishes. If we conservatives think it is bad we just don’t buy it or do it.

Seriously, I haven’t felt this way after a speech since listening to Allen West.

      This guy is incredible.

      • Orangeone

We needed this tonight Scoop, thank you. And this is the character we need as POTUS!

        • http://www.therightscoop.com/ The Right Scoop

No doubt. This guy is fantastic.

          • PVG

            AMEN. Thanks Scoop.

          • Dukehoopsfan

I voted for Dan last Fall for the Senate. He was running against Ben Cardin and had a shot until a third party guy with a lot of money entered the race and split the opposition vote. I hope Dan continues with his political aspirations. We could use him.

            • cabensg

I wasn’t able to vote for him, different state, but I did watch several of his campaign speeches and was very very impressed. There was no back off from a conservative message and he articulated it extremely well. I hope he continues to seek high office we need him.

        • PVG

          Indeed!

      • Orangeone

Wouldn’t it be awesome to see Allen West, Sen Tim Scott, Dan Bongino and Ted Cruz all at the same rallies around this country? The message the four of them could bring to the college students and young parents about America and what freedom really means would be simply amazing!

        • marketcomp

Yes! I would pay to see that!

        • sybilll

Awesome. But, you need a woman in the mix. I’d go with Marsha Blackburn who had the “nads” to challenge President MomJeans to a skeet shoot contest.

          • Orangeone

Great idea but I’d like a woman’s team out talking to young women, including Sarah Palin and Mia Love.

            • nosilasunny

              And Judge Pirro!

              • Orangeone

Slap me upside the head, how could I forget Judge Pirro, my VP candidate of choice :) Duh…..

                • nosilasunny

You didn’t forget. You just hit the post button too soon. :)

                • Orangeone

You are soooo sweet! And notsofastthere suggested Mark Levin on the “boy’s team”. How remarkable if this were to happen. Two teams of four each and every single one of them have bucked up and made their lives successful and this country better despite the struggles and likely because of the struggles they lived through.

                • nosilasunny

Yes we can’t the great one. Aren’t you glad they are all fighting with us?

            • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

              Oops.. deleted by duckie

              • Orangeone

No need to delete, our friend nosilasunny caught my slip :) shows we are all thinking alike!

                • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

lol you know me well ;-) She’s like our triplet! lol.

            • Sober_Thinking

              Brilliant!

          • Elizabeth

Why is a woman “needed in the mix”?

            • Sandra Varn

Because the liberals campaign on how Republicans hate women. It’s not the real world to believe that but most brainwashed liberals believe that firmly. Especially if they are struggling with a career because they aren’t educated enough, aren’t aggressive enough or are just plain jealous of success.

        • notsofastthere

Heck! Might as well throw in Mark Lavin in there as icing on the cake.

          • Orangeone

I love this community! Yes, yes and yes. I tweeted Mark Levin asking him to have this man on his show, gave the link to this thread in the tweet!

        • Sandra Varn

I campaigned for Ted Cruz. We all said that if he wins he’s going to be really good. However, we also believed that the left would begin tearing him down as soon as he stood up. It’s been, what 4 weeks and it’s already started. Sad the media is so biased and liberal.

  • http://twitter.com/wbcsaint Sam R

Speechless because he is so spot on it isnt funny. The line about in a society full of wolves why would we be creating more sheep is pure gold.

    • KenInMontana

It’s called job creation, it keeps us “sheepdogs” employed. /sarc

  • Orangeone

Simply outstanding! We need him as Senator in 2014 in a bit more of a purple state :)

  • Highlandtwp

    Excellent!!

Wow that was excellent, just makes me =)
Didn’t he or is he running for congress?

    Also just saw this…

Bruce Willis: “I think that you can’t start to pick apart anything out of the Bill of Rights without thinking that it’s all going to become undone, If you take one out or change one law, then why wouldn’t they take all your rights away from you?”

While he has sympathy for the families dealing with the horror of recent mass shootings, Willis does not think new laws will change anything.
Willis says, “I’m a father and it’s just a tragedy. But I don’t know how you legislate insanity. I don’t know what you do about it. I don’t even know how you begin to stop that.”

Yup, and that’s the whole point, give them an inch and they’ll try to take a mile.
Yippee ki-yay, mudderfudder government, back off!

    • Orangeone

He ran for US Senate in 2012 and was defeated.

    • http://twitter.com/stardog235 Aine

He ran against Senator Ben Cardin in Maryland last year. Huge loss. It seems that Maryland, like other progressive states, would never elect a good conservative like this.

    • Orangeone

Thanks for this. I posted the link over on the Open Thread too.

    • notsofastthere

Dan lost the senate race but hopes to run for Governor of MD.

      • Orangeone

Way too blue of a state. He needs to get to a purple state with 2014 Senate and turn it Red. I’ll tweet and see if he’ll take on MN if we can’t get Chris Fields to run.

Paging Sarah Palin, please Ms. Palin, find a great Senate seat for this man!

        • Patriot077

I heard him give a speech (another impassioned one) about fixing their state. Lots of people are leaving and he is begging the good ones to stay and fight for what they have lost. I supported his campaign last year and prayed that he would bring in the victory because man oh man is he ever inspiring. And it’s from his gut. His story is pretty impressive, and I encourage everyone to check out all the youtubes you can find on him.

        • dtm14

Chris Fields was destroyed by Ellison. Ellison was as vulnerable as he could be and Fields couldn’t do anything. Many were disappointed how he handled his campaign and it’s unlikely the Republican Party will back him against anyone in the future.

    • aposematic

Willis is exactly correct. The U.S. would not be without the “Bill of Rights” as the States would not have signed the Constitution without them. To take even one away or distort it to irrelevance renders the entire Constitution null and void.

  • sjmom

Beautiful speech; passionate, poignant and powerful.

  • http://www.therightscoop.com/ The Right Scoop

My favorite quote from the video: “In a society of wolves, you DO NOT fight back by creating more sheep!”

    • Orangeone

I like “Action changes the world” too

    • http://onthemark1.blogspot.com/ On The Mark

My favorite is your original headline: “There’s no such thing as gun control, just people control”. That is precisely the point of any and all gun bans. It takes guts to say publicly it at all, but admirable character to say it with passion rather than anger.

      • http://www.therightscoop.com/ The Right Scoop

Yeah I liked the other one too…but this one a little more.

This guy just rolls them off the tongue.

        • Orangeone

Can you find 500 more like him so we can clean out Congress and elect true Constitution-respecting conservatives?????

          • notsofastthere

Eugenics for politicians, Cloning for conservative representatives!!!!!!

            • Orangeone

              :)

        • notsofastthere

YUP! He didn’t need a teleprompter or written speech – came from the heart.

    • AimToMisbehave

The people of Maryland don’t really deserve a person of his caliber trying to be a voice of reason amongst their collective insanity. It’s to his immense credit that he stays and fights regardless of that fact.

  • http://onthemark1.blogspot.com/ On The Mark

    Awesome indeed!

Wikipedia claims News Corp (which owns Fox News) contributed significantly to the campaign of Democrat Ben Cardin who defeated Bongino in Maryland’s 2012 Senate race. I didn’t expect that.

P.S. I’ve been seeing problems with Youtube videos on other sites, though I’m not on a mobile device.

    • Orangeone

      WTH News Corp.

    • aposematic

I’ve noticed some strange things too. Guess YouTube is changing some stuff and kinks not out yet.

      • http://onthemark1.blogspot.com/ On The Mark

Looks like they put Humpty back together again for now.

      • Orangeone

The suspicious part of me wonders if it is tracking to identify those viewing.

        • aposematic

Its owned by Google??? Of course its tracking viewers. You can block a lot of tracking but never all. I run several tracking blockers but none are perfect. Did you read Hagmann’s piece on CFP yesterday?

          • Orangeone

I did not read Hagmann’s piece on CFP, will do it today! Thanks for the reminder.

    • williamm
      • tinlizzieowner

Keep in mind that News Corp. (et all) is a huge conglomerate, originally based in Australia. Among it’s vast holdings, is Twentieth Century Fox (not be confused with Fox News), Fox (broadcast) TV has probably some of the sleaziest shows on television. It’s a little like General Electric, on one side of the coin GE is producing some of our most sophisticated defense equipment and on the other side of the coin, it’s run by Jeffery Immelt, one of Obama’s biggest supporters.

  • http://twitter.com/PaulZummo Paul Zummo

Bongino is indeed incredibly awesome, and if he resided anywhere but Maryland he’d be a rising star in the Republican party. Unfortunately the People’s Republic is not ready for someone like him, so we’re stuck with the likes of Ben Cardin.

  • aposematic

Great speech for a nightcap, thanks Scoop!

  • clockwindingdown

    Brilliant!

And not a teleprompter insight! Why is it that? O can’t talk to kids without a teleprompter and he is the mouth piece for the lefties, “the one”, “so articulate”, “smarter than anyone else in the country”, but can’t speak anything coherent without a teleprompter…

  • JohnCraven

He was a great candidate for the Senate in 2012 but I think that the Big Whigs in the GOP simply wanted to stay with the status quo.

    I hope he runs again.

He is, in many ways, even better than Allan West and Allan West is great.

    • nosilasunny

What’s new? They always want to stay with the status quo. They are scared of people they can’t control. This guy is wonderful!

  • white531

This is another great leader who came out of nowhere. I have been following him. Let us hope he continues on the path.

  • jgilman1

That was no speech. I’ve taught my kids to always be skeptical of politicians who read off a teleprompter or read to much from prepared notes. I’ve taught them to notice the difference between that and checking notes to make sure to hit your points, like Reagan and most true Conservatives. The Consrevative message is not the problem, the problem is the delivery and the fact that the delivery is always filtered through bad media and consumed by uninterested people too easily swayed by focus group tested talking points. No, that was no speech, those were honest factual beliefs straight from a mans heart only filtered through his brain to make them lucid and coherent.

    • white531

      Dammed right.

    • tinlizzieowner

      Precisely.
Watch Obama (when you can stand it). He speaks in sentences, with pauses in between them, looking side to side as the teleprompter changes. When he doesn’t have a teleprompter, he fumbles (er, ah) as he’s trying to compose his next line of ‘dogma’, even with the ‘soft ball media’ where he has the questions in advance.

Then contrast that with Alfonzo Rachel for instance, he speaks in thoughts. Fluid, fast, coherent and to the point. He might have a teleprompter in front of him to keep him on track but he’s not ‘reading’ as Obama so often is, it’s obvious he’s speaking from his honest beliefs.
To speak the truth is easy, you already know what it is. To speak a lie takes a lot of practice. You have to try to remember your last lie first and Barack Obama is probably the most practiced liars I’ve ever seen.

Oh wow!! I know I’m late getting here, and everyone’s said pretty much what I’ve thought. But this man is SO AWESOME!!! Did anyone hear that? I heard it… Our Founders were clapping just now!!!
Thank you Dan for that! Lord I pray we can find more just like him- but WE need to be just like him! Get up and DO something! Please!!

PS- Thank you Scoop so much! I’ve found the video for my next home school co op class!!!

  • Huss Family

I wish I could share his enthusiasm for the next election – after what this election showed us about the epidemic of corruption driven by this President and his machine, I have very little faith that my vote is worth squat. Bongino is an awesome patriot; we have a few of them, thanks be to God – but will it be enough? Don’t know.

    • Orangeone

More Voter ID will be in place in 2014, like in WI!

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

We need us to be like them. We will have to change Washington with regular people, patriots who love America and the Constitution. No politician will change things. We the people will have to.

  • http://twitter.com/ember_george Ember George

Hungary is just that country – a country of sheep rounded up by wolves.

Take a look at the sign the woman in blue at the right is holding about :10 into the video. “I support a woman’s right to choose. Sig? or Glock?”

    Loved it!

  • PatrickHenrysBody

Who tries to redefine language, values, and morals? Leftist authoritarians. Who tries to redefine history by rewriting it? Leftist authoritarians. Who created political correctness? Leftist authoritarians. Who created radical environmentalism? Leftist authoritarians. Who uses “social justice” as a tool to beat Americans over the head with and steal away liberty and freedom? Leftist authoritarians. Who are the real hate mongers in this country? Leftist authoritarians. Who are the true racists in this country? Leftist authoritarians. Who are winning on almost every political battle front in this country? Leftist authoritarians. No resistance against and no extinguishing of those who seek to “change”, “redefine”, or move this country “forward” toward totalitarianism will mean enslavement and oppression. Mister Bongino already realizes this. Unfortunately, half of those in this country either do not realize it or they realize it, but don’t care for whatever reason.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_J5E2IJNF4FF2V4FTWQDDYMAEGE Lee W

I LIKE this man! Wears boots and jeans, and won’t apologize, either! Good for him—a real Middle Class American, and I hope we hear more and more from him—along with Alan West!

  • Rocco11

Great guy, but he’s behind enemy lines in the People’s Republic of Maryland, that place is gone. Castro has a larger opposition party in Cuba…

    • MiketheMarine

That is a fact. I live in Said People’s Republic and as I’ve said before, I am surrounded by mentally deficient liberals, unions, minorities and loads of illegals.

  • chatterbox365

Amen to that!!! Is this man running for office? If not, he needs to be!

    • MiketheMarine

He ran for senate in MD but a true conservative has zero chance of winning an election in MD. I live there and am surrounded by mentally deficient liberals, unions and minorities with an huge illegal immigrant problem.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_GDJGRV2MMCB6P2ZYTUZW6BHFVA Richard

Why did the Swiss survive WW II and millions of the Jewish population were put to death in a Nazi gas chamber? Certainly, a well armed Jewish population would have had a better chance of survival. Why does Obama and his followers want to confiscate citizen’s weapons, yet has no problem arming Middle Eastern rebels and Mexican drug cartels? Please explain.

    • tinlizzieowner

“Why does Obama and his followers want to confiscate citizen’s weapons, yet has no problem arming Middle Eastern rebels and Mexican drug cartels? Please explain.”

Because the word ‘Obama’ is the classic dictionary definition of hypocrisy.

    • Orangeone

Take a look at the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, the Jews were armed!

History shows that every dictator first disarms the citizenry and increases the armament of the gov’t.

  • colliemum

Outstanding speech by a truly righteous American.

I shall steal his phrase “In a society of wolves, you do not fight back by creating more sheep”. It applies everywhere, not just to the debate about guns.

    • Orangeone

      So correct mum!

  • ryanomaniac

Did everyone hear that? Act don’t talk. Amen brother.

  • 9Spoon9

One of the few that used LIBERTY as a key word! People in many of the countries in the world have freedoms. No where else do the citizens have the privilege of the Liberties American’s had/have. My hat’s off and the sheeple need to hear more from this gentleman.

We must counter and resist any and all attempts to resist before we come to a point of no return where talking and reasoning won’t even wet the surface and actions greater than peaceful assembly, expressing our common sense logic and using the vote become nil. I dread the thought of such actions that will follow…especially upon the soils of this Republic.

  • 911Infidel

If Dan Bongino wants to get elected to the Senate or House he needs to move out of Marylindistan and into Va. There are plenty of libshite crap weasels that have moved down from Blue States in office who need to be defeated. In Va., he’d have a better chance of defeating some of the entenched Dhimrats like Bugs (the vote cheater) Moron or the two d-head Dhimirat Senators: Warner and Kane.

  • Pyrran

I think Dan is the kind of man I want representing me in the government.
Maybe someday the Secret Service will be protecting him, eh?
    It’s a nice thought.

  • Army_Pilot1967

That’s a good message by Dan Bongino about not fighting wolves by creating more sheep. Unfortunately Dan, Congress is full of sheep herders!!!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/augustusalzona Augustus Alzona

Talk about getting to the point. You nailed it, Dan!

  • http://www.facebook.com/augustusalzona Augustus Alzona

    “Target acquired”…”Send it”…”Bulls eye” ;-) You’re the man, Dan!

  • Starfish52

I supported Dan and talked him up for months and was surprised how many conservatives made themselves known to me in the middle of Baltimore City! He did’t beat Cardin but I hope he runs again – we need him back in Washington helping to lead the charge. You can teach speech reading, but not speech making – he’s all heart.

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

      Well said! :-)

  • 27Words

Awesome Indeed… this needs to go viral !! A great message and messanger that needs to be heard!

  • JoeMontana16

Hey Republicans, see this? You want the senate? More seats in congress?? Follow this guy. See how fired up everyone here is? Same with Allen West. Just think what these guys could do if the Republican party threw some money behind these guys. Winning!!

  • Conservative_Hippie

    He’s Good!

  • NoTrustInMen

Passionate, articulate, really great speech. As a Christian, I cannot imagine Jesus giving that speech. This is the difficulty about being a Biblical Christian, a follower of Christ, because Christ’s views are so different from the left (for sure) but also from the right. How does a Christian reconcile Jesus words at Matthew 10:16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves” with the words “In a society of wolves, you DO NOT fight back by creating more sheep!”

    Just saying.

    • jodypear

And the rest: “Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” And Phil. 2:12: Paul writes, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” There seem to be few cut-and-dried answers but a balancing of wisdom and harmlessness and “working out” the questions we have–with discernment, all the while clinging to God and resting in Him. Bearing arms protects our ability simply to live our lives as we work through them.

      • NoTrustInMen

It is very perplexing to be a Biblical Christian because you are called upon to trust in God and follow his direction, not what you or others say is the right thing, trust that what God says is the best course.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9
“Do not resist the one who is evil.” Matthew 5:39
“If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer him the left also” Matthew 5:39
“Pray for your enemies…. that you may be like your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:44
“Our weapons are not carnal….” 2 Corinthians 10:4

When the Romans began rounding up Christians, should they have fought to protect their families? Why didn’t they? Why did they allow themselves to be persecuted?
Not easy to be a Christian, not easy at all.

  • http://twitter.com/rantanrave jojo

Dan is the voice for the people and he continues to push –>If you want to change things you must get involved. As Dan Bongino says ” if you are not trying to fix the problem then you are part of the problem.” The situation will not change until “We the people” stand up & take control.
People can only take away our power if we let them.

    We have two responsibilities:

    1) To accept things the way they are.
    OR
    2) To accept the RESPONSIBILITY to CHANGE them.

  • Bryan Ewbank

We should also go back to “these united states”, rather than continuing with the more collective “the united states”.

  • harglide

Dan, we need more leaders like you! Please run for the Senate! Or better yet, presidency!

    • MissMyGuy

He did run for Senate you know. Sarah Palin endorsed. Never was going to happen in Maryland, he got smashed

      • harglide

I am very sorry to hear that. He needs to establish a residence elswhere. We need to to speak for us in Washington!

  • tinlizzieowner

Never thought I’d see the day I’d be quoting Malcom X for chastising Blacks and calling them “a batch of chumps” for supporting Democrats but if you go over to PJTV and listen to what Alfonzo Rachel has to say today, you’ll understand why.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1534357187 Robert Stevenson

Love that Truthful quote: “In a society of wolves, you do not fight back by creating more sheep”

  • Michael Huss

    This was Awesome! Thanks

  • StandProudNow

Even though he sadly didn’t win, again, Gov. Palin saw a winner when she endorsed him.

He IS a winner, and I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

    You GO!!! Mr. Bongino!

    • harglide

SO, what will it take to get him to run, perhaps in a different/new residence??? Has anyone else thought of that? I mean this guy has the right stuff to run again, but after the last loss, how does he do it different? Just wondering…………..In Texas…..

  • DebbyX

His best comment was that the founders created a document that disempowered them, meaning the government, to be able to take away our rights. It was the only revolution in history that created a document that empowered the people instead of the government. Amen!

How can we stop this if people keep putting these liberal nuts in Washington? And we don’t have anyone with enough guts to stand up to them. I would, BUT I just a 65 year old forced into retirement by the USPS, smuck! I feel like I don’t have a voice against these Liberals in office!!!!! P.S. That is a great speech. Gun registration is for future confiscation, and as he said, gun control is people control. It seems that in the meantime, the government is buying up all the bullets and that may be for people control, too. We are living in very dangerous times with evil people at the wheel. I’m so afraid for my grandchildren and great grandchildren, and what they are going to have to live in.

Truer words were never spoken. Not once when he arrested someone were they armed with a legal gun. Not once were they told to disarm themselves because it was safe when they went to a city with major gun laws. It ain’t about gun control, it’s all about people control.

What A GREAT speech. I do not know Dan but I certainly agree with him. I, too, carried a weapon for many years (and I still do). For those who do not know me, I am a retired Special Agent with the US (of course) Army Criminal Investigation Division and was an investigator for twenty additional years in Kentucky. PLUS a number of years as a member of our County Citizens Advisory Board. I have collected a few college degrees, eg: A BS in Law Enforcement, A MS in Public Administration and a Ph. D. In Criminology.

Thank you for speaking so intelligently and passionately on this issue! You really struck a nerve for me with your warning about the co-opting of language. People don’t get how deadly serious that is. And this is not the only issue that’s being driven by it. We’re like the frog who doesn’t jump out of the pot of water until it’s too late. I don’t think that leftists are bad people, but life can be a slippery slope and let us never forget that the ruthless totalitarian violence of the Third Reich began with the co-opting of language.

Like you, Dan, I am not a right-wing nut or a bigot or a sexist or a homophobe; unlike you I’ve never owned a gun; I’m just passionate about logic and common sense.

    Dan …please run for President!!!!!

this is a gun nut, why is he so concerned with gun control, now I understand why he is no longer with the secret service… I have guns, but I do believe in gun control. and further that those who have or used guns illegally should receive severe prison sentences. of course those sentences are paid for by us law abiding citizens.

Excellent speech. The only thing I would like to add is we must all keep in mind that our military is being used by this corrupt government in illegal wars. The military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against is killing our young military men and women in order to keep the money machine going for military industrial corporations. Only Congress can authorize a war, and that has not been done since WW2. Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the United States Constitution.

Arkansas: Important Update on Multiple House Bills
On Tuesday, House Bill 1408, introduced by state Representative Sue Scott (R-95), failed to get the necessary votes to be reported out of the House Judiciary Committee. However, HB 1408 could be heard again in the future. This common sense pro-gun reform would simply add open carry to the methods by which a current Concealed Handgun Carry License (CHCL) holder may carry his personal protection handgun. While most license holders would likely continue to carry their handguns concealed and discreetly, HB 1408 would eliminate any potential problems a license holder may encounter should a concealed firearm accidentally become exposed. It would also allow licensees to remove a jacket during hot weather without running afoul of the current concealed carry statute, should that action cause a handgun to become exposed.

A woman’s right to choose self protection
What should America do about gun violence? That was the Senate Judiciary Committee’s topic for its first hearing of 2013.In my testimony during the hearing, I explained that the ability to arm oneself is even more important for women than it is for men, since guns level the playing field between women and the physically stronger men who might attack them. We preserve meaningful protection for women by safeguarding our Second Amendment rights to lawful self protection. I urged the senators to eschew self defeating proposals that would fail to make Americans safer and would harm women most.

Federal gun proposals face tough legal road
The prospects for the administration’s proposals, however, are murky at best. Six weeks after Obama announced his initiatives, the assault weapons ban reinstatement is widely considered to have virtually no chance of passing the Republican led U.S. House of Representatives. It’s not even a good bet in the Democrat controlled U.S. Senate. The powerful National Rifle Association, which sees Obama’s plan as an infringement on the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms, staunchly opposes the effort.Gary Kleck, a professor at Florida State’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a national expert on violence and gun control laws, agrees the assault weapon ban won’t go anywhere — and shouldn’t.

I liked most of this…alot. Particularly the gun control/people control part. However, his commentary on voting I think is a day late and a dollar short. Pretty sure things are rigged theses days after witnessing the last primary shananigans. Makes it difficult to vote when their isn’t any choice. Also, not voting is also a freedom which is God given. I don’t think he considered that. Maybe it’s the people that vote that are causing the problem? (myself included) When we can check the box reading “vote of no-confidence”, perhaps his point would hold more water. Also, paying taxes to support a militray that is, in my view, badly missused (ie. policing the world) is a “tricky” thing. Of course I support “defending” our nation and, so too, paying taxes as such; that’s constitutional. However, our current state of foreign policy is WAY off of that mark. Tricky…or no?
