Yay! Thanks for the heads up!

  • opinionatedhermit

    Welcome back, Mark.

Thank you for your commitments to our liberties. They are a lesson for all of us.

Again, thank you. Like everyday, I look forward to it.

    • Conniption Fitz

Thanks be to GOD for The Right Scoop where the truth is daily upheld and the deceptions and follies of the leftists and crooks is exposed.

Also thank GOD for Professor William Jacobson of Legal Insurrection and College Insurrection who is holding down essential battlefronts: the courts, legislature and academia, with the help of a team of stalwarts.

  • marketcomp

Thank God! We need him to hold the line for liberty and freedom with these spineless politicians in Washington.

  • Joel S. Miller

Thank you Great One!! I even googled when he was supposed to be back. His words of wisdom are much needed with this “deal” which seems to raise taxes and do NOTHING with spending. Feel betrayed and furious all the time!!!

    • RighteousCrow_JustCaws

“Feel betrayed and furious all the time!!!”
Yes. This was the flattest new year’s eve I’ve ever, EVER known.

  • deTocqueville1

You’re right Scoop, awesome. I have been in withdrawal! With Levin and Palin hammering away there may yet be hope. I expect DeMint to join in shortly.

  • deeme

That’s good because his venting “for U.S. ” keeps me from having a heart attack…

      Me too .

  • ApplePie101

Boehner had better get all his arm-twisting done tomorrow, before Levin can launch another surge.

  • Highlandtwp

    Thank you!

  • BHliberty

    • PVG

      Amen to that!

  • sjmom

Guess he’s had enough and is ready to let loose and I, for one, look forward to it.

A question for any legal eagles: Can a law that legally is no longer is a law be amended after it is no longer a law?

    • Orangeone

If you are talking about the Senate vote, they technically waited until all tax rates went up to give Barky Boy “I lowered taxes on 98% of Americans”

      • aposematic

Thats my point. If the taxes went up because the Bill expired. How can the Senate get around the Constitution Article 1, Section 7, that Revenue Bills must be initiated in the House and pass a Revenue Bill initiated in the Senate. I know the Bill the Senate passed is an Amended Bush tax cut Bill but it had already expired and was no longer a Law. Seems to me then the Senate Bill is Unconstitutional. But then these days Congress ignores the Constitution and does whatever it wants. That’s why I ask if a Bill that is no longer a Law, it had expired, can then after expiration be Amended. How can a Law (Bill) be Amended if it is no longer a Law?

        • Orangeone

The Senate cannot but again, no one is holding them accountable. The House is worthless. They did the very same with ObamaCare and Boehner has claimed it to be the law of the land.

  • clockwindingdown

What does it say when we cannot turn our backs on our elected officials. Or that we need to hound them every minute for if left to their own devises they would be right back shooting up drugs!

Where is a meteor when we need one…

    • sarahsupporter

What does it say? It says this: where a government is respectful/fearful of the citizenry there is liberty; where a citizenry is in fear of the government there is tyranny.

    • marketcomp

I completely agree, clockwindingdown! But on the flip-side this problem exist because we have ignored these corrupt politicians for far too-long perhaps going back to the 1960’s and maybe further than that. It is a shame that Mark Levin and his voice of reason needs to return from his vacation to hold these incompetents feet to the fire on tax increases which most say they are against. The dems are just Marxist and marxist have no values other than to limit individual liberties every chance they get. But, republicans are allowing a Marxist to out manuver them by agreeing to raise taxes which is something that they have not done since the 1990’s-the time of George HW Bush. After that elections did not work out so well for republicans. So they don’t even or they are incapable of examining history to develop a plan to combat these Marxist. Obama has all of these think tanks that develop and find ways to corner republicans and destroy them. But republicans have no groups to develop and review the democrat play book to find ways to destroy the democrats and expose their communist propaganda.

      • clockwindingdown

Problem is lack of true leadership on the Repubs side. Boehner has allowed O, or is in agreement with O, to cause him to divided his own troops. By doing this he has destroyed his troops loyalty, and therefore his ability to take meaningful action. I tend to think in agreement with. A person of conviction and integrity would not put up with what O does and would have checked O long ago. Therefore I am left with saying that in most cases boehner is in lock step with the regime.

Cantor though somewhat better has not raised hell in the Senate as he needs to do. He has allowed reid to make comments without foundations and not called him out on ethics for failures to follow the law. This he should repeatedly at any and every opportunity.

Reps are hard working people, known for producing product. Dems sit around and plan, they are know for not producing product but taking it. Dems have much practice at this.

Reps can quickly get up to speed if their leadership will admit their problem and decide to action. If not then they are in agreement with the course the country is on. At this point it appears agreement.

It is quickly becoming time for patriots to decide what action should be taken. If we cannot sway our representatives to change their actions we need to run against them, win or loose…

        • marketcomp

All excellent points. Obama has been trained and taught by Marxist and communist so he has had 50+ years to develop and create plans to destroy America and more specifically the republicans. He has these academics solely devoted to making us a third world country and the reps. MUST use those idiotic consultants of theirs to be committed to keeping America and America. I just want them to WTFU because Obams is NOT just another politician. But he ants to destroy America.

          • clockwindingdown

If reps are to use their consultants they better do massive in depth research on them to be sure they are not working for the other team. Odds are most are. Looks like that is what happened to Romney, his information was tainted…

            • marketcomp

Very interesting! So it appears that Romney may have had moles in his campaign. Interesting!

    • opinionatedhermit

When you have an all powerful republican style government, with the so called authority to change all of our lives in an instant …. it will cause, by definition, the people to go at each others throats … Even if, just in case, the other side “might” do something…

The key is small government. Take away their power. That way, politics really is no big deal…. And, maybe just maybe, we can all start to get along …. and, move the argument away from each others throats…

Also, I just want to say that these are not all my own thoughts. At least not in their entirety. No, the good parts I stole fairly and squarely, from Mark Levin…..

      Thank you, Mark.

  • Conniption Fitz

    From NEWT:
    Newt Gingrich‚úĒ@newtgingrich

“My simple message to house republicans is “dont cave”! You can amend the bill and the Senate will have to face reality that you exist.”

    • nibblesyble

Love me some Newt! Too bad they will not listen..or at least that is what I am expecting anyway.

  • madnessofjack

    Just passing it along…
    This guy expresses my sentiments…..EXACTLY

    “Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

    Respectfully Submitted,
    Joshua Boston
    Cpl, United States Marine Corps

God bless you sir, and thank you for your service to this country then…..and now.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Love that letter. God Bless him thanks for sharing it, I second it.

      • madnessofjack

Please do feel free to pass it on

    …thank GOD. Sanity returns !”

  • proudhispanicconservative

We have missed you Mark, I hope when you comeback, you call out the cowards in the senate that voted to raise taxes. I hope he brings it on thursday, because all the cowards that voted to kill the country are called out. Kudos to the senators that did not vote for it, we should all call them and thank them.

    • Orangeone

Every single people I know in that category is taking their jobs out of America. Great move by the Senate and House. They will lower the $400,000 bar to $200,000 in 2 months, just watch. The bar will continue to lower as more and more jobs leave the country and the wealthy simply leave. One need only look at France to see that.

      • proudhispanicconservative

Orangeone I hope you are preparing, correct me if I am wrong, or I am stepping my bounds, but I think these idiots are targeting you.

        • Orangeone

          I don’t think I understand your post.

          • proudhispanicconservative

What I meant eas that people making over a certain amount, (like you) are being targeted by the statists.

            • Orangeone

Okay.¬† I intentionally keep myself out of that category and limit income to lower tax rate levels.¬† I’ll lower it even more now.

              • proudhispanicconservative

                There you go my friend!!!!!!!!

                • Orangeone

Zero Net Profit is the name of the game and many of my biz owners colleagues have joined me in striving for that goal!

  • ApplePie101

According to Daniel Newhauser at RollCall, ‘Rep John Fleming (La) said sentiment in GOP mtg now is to pass senate bill as is, maybe with mostly Dem votes. Realize they’re beat’.

So let that sink in. The majority of the GOP is teaming up with democrats against the Tea Party Caucus to force through a major tax increase.

Die-hard republicans had better seriously consider where their party is taking them.

    • BHliberty

This whole fiasco has been so fluid and I can’t keep up. Last I heard they were going to throw in some amendments and if they couldn’t get enough support for them they would bring the bill up for a vote. I guess its clear that the Speaker was able to strong-arm enough people to support passage of the bill. Clearly a sad day for our Republic! I think conservatives are now party-less!

  • SavingtheRepublicdotcom

Oh boy! Epic dead on rants coming from the Great One

    • Orangeone

Words. Where are the actions? Lawsuits are decided by a liberal judicial system.

      • SavingtheRepublicdotcom

Well IMO it was b/c of Levin Boehner had no support during his attempted vote. So I think Levin will be leading the charge to get Boehner dethroned!

        • Orangeone

But in the end the House just voted to increase taxes and the deficit by $4 trillion dollars. In order for that to happen, the debt ceiling has to be raised as well. Stay tuned, they will give Obama an unlimited credit card.

  • Constance

Thank God. I need to hear from the man in the bunker. He keeps me sane.

  • aZjimbo

I miss my fill of the great one. I’m having withdrawals. Thank God for Mark because we have a bunch of complete idiots running this country on both sides.

  • Booker T. (D-Utopia)

My man!! That’s what I’m talking about!!

  • Rocco11

Day late and a dollar short, Mark. Paul Ryan, we hardly knew ye…

  • Berecca

    YAY! Mark rules!

  • Rocco11

Good to know Rush, and Mark were kicking back with their toes in the sand while our country was being sold down the river. Makes you want to rush right out and buy autographed copies of their books, doesn’t it?

  • Myptofvu

I bet he’s returning because it now looks like its possible to unseat Boehner and he wants to share some input on this.

  • PapaMickHughes

@Rocco11¬†Hey Rocco ¬†.. you’re obviously suffering from cranial rectal inversion and bird-brain flu ¬† .. not sure if those are covered by Obamacare

    • SwTkthe1

PapaMickHughes¬†And you have NO HAIR…. ¬†We all love that about you, Moron.

  • SwTkthe1

@Rocco11¬†Yeah, this “one hit wonder” said the same thing to me on another thread. ¬†He’s just trolling through. ¬†He will die out from non attention. ¬† ¬† ¬†He peeked in high school.
