It's pathetic that the MSM didn't have anything else on Rubio other than having a dry throat and needing a drink. Even the Prime Minister of another country finds it ridiculous that they chose something as petty as drinking some water.
I'm a media guy, I have a degree in this kind of stuff. Right now, Rubio is exactly what we need. A conservative 'American Idol' personality with a team that seems to know how to take liberal 'slams' and turn them around to his advantage.
'Politics'? I'm not going to go there at the moment, the Presidential election is a way down the road yet.
I'm not sure what he 'is' but what he 'isn't' is a bland McCain, Romney type. Like it or not, we have to be able to play their game. After the 'water incident' and the way his organization turned it around on them, the left is going to be a little more careful how they attack him. They are not going to be as quick to expose their own situational hypocrisy about a young, charismatic, 'Latino'. Blacks will still vote overwhelmingly (liberal) 'Black', that's institutionalized, though the words of Col. West, Herman Cain and Alfonzo Rachel (among others), are making inroads. The 'Latino' community is a little more diverse.
Mark my words, they don't want him getting any more exposure with the 'American Idol' crowd or the likes of Jay Leno, than they can avoid. ;-)
this photo op and rubio going there has to gain support from usa jews. i really hope it will. rubio can take the lead here, because obama clearly doesn't give a crap about israel. he is a muslim and his heart is with them. i won't ever believe otherwise.. i stand behind israel as do most Christians. we have read the end of the Bible and we know who wins...
Since John Kerry is skipping Israel I am glad that Rubio went. The current WH is anti-Israel. I still can't believe the way BHO treated Netanyahu every time he visited.
Israel is probably glad that kerry (lowercase to show my disrespect) didn't come visit them. They have enough enemies to deal with!

Sorry I still consider Republicans on our side only because they're not totally over to the dark side...yet and we even have a few on our side. While Obama supporters are busy drinking the Kool-Aid, Rubio supporters are busy buying up water bottles at $25 per to show that drinking water is NOT a career-ending move.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I think extending this water-joke makes Rubio look like an ass. I think it makes him look unserious and vain, not clever or cute.

Personally, I think it makes them both look like FRIENDS. Rather than the way the President of our Country has been seen lately with a scorn on his face when seen with Bibi.
I just think it's a nice gester from Netanyahu and that's it. Hardly anything newsworthy as the stupid drinking stories of water wasn't either.

It's a special person who can absolutely FLING POOP in the face of the media (and the left), all the while laughing and coming off smelling like a rose.
I have DEEP issues with Rubio embracing the form of amnesty he and Shmucky are trying to peddle, but if (and, really, WHEN, because he will) he backs off of it, I think he will be a TOUGH candidate to beat - and certainly a charismatic, likable conservative - which, based on the relative intelligence (or lack thereof) of the electorate at large, seems to be mightily important...
It worries me to. I don't think he'll be number one anyway. To young and inexperienced, not even a governor. Heaven help us who's gonna be number one.
He will. It's a matter of time. I'm not a prognosticator, but, it's clear that the Dems and the White House aren't interested in this deal... even when the deal is basically amnesty first, border security second. Rubio will have no choice but to walk away.

You and I may have our issues with Rubio. But what makes this image for me is the fact that he's turned the tables on the Libtard media and late night "comedy" shows and didn't let them get to him for his little episode with a water bottle. I learned years ago that the best way to disarm a libtard troll is to use humor and since they are humorless warts at heart they are clueless when you do so because they have really no way to respond! For that, my hat is off to Rubio.
