Arizona Sheriff Dever was asked who started the monument fire that has destroyed at least 62 homes, several businesses and about 27,000 acres. He strongly believes that it was either illegals or smugglers because the park was closed when the fire started and there were no lighting storms happening. He adds that it wasn’t the rabbits or the rattlesnakes:
I’m sure the name calling will ensue shortly but Dever seems like a tough guy. I’m pretty sure he can handle it.
