Bashir attacked Sarah Palin again today trying to use Michele Bachmann as the whipping tool, but SE Cupp wasn’t having any of that. After Bashir asked if Michele Bachmann is the thinking person’s Sarah Palin, SE Cupp hit right back noting she’s tired of these woman to woman comparisons because they both have a uterus! BAM!

And as Bashir attacked Bachmann’s previous ‘missteps’, or mistakes he’s made while speaking in front of crowds, SE Cupp hit back once again noting both Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s mistakes while in the limelight.

All in all SE Cupp was awesome!

The thinking person’s Sarah Palin? The irony is so thick, I don’t know where to begin. Sarah Palin thinks and does things on her own. But having to encourage someone to support someone other than Palin, that very notion goes against someone who can think for themselves since they have to follow this guy’s advice.

I love it it how foreigners who after destroying their native countries come to america and dictate to us how we should run our country into the ground like theirs. Communism, marxism, socialism didn’t work anywhere it’s been tried but numb nuts think it will definitely work here, can we say insanity? Whoever the libs say obama should run against, john huntsman, will be a plant, a paper tiger for obama to steam roll. Whoever the libs oppose is good for america, while whoever they propose is bad for america and will hand the presidency over to the marxist currently in the whitehouse for a second term. Lets all remember the 2008 election. The libs were for john mccain until he got the nomination, then the knives came out.

  • Anonymous

    Good job, S.E.Cupp!
She had Bashir doing the backstroke for each of those snarky questions.

Hmm…now why would the Libs rather have Bachmann to run against, than Sarah Palin?

    • http://twitter.com/RichMcCreedy Richard McCreedy

Because they don’t like Sarah Palin?

It isn’t always in the context of electability and such. It’s simply because they don’t like her that they say these things about her. Not because they “fear” her in an election.

The same reasons you and I say such things about Obama. Do we say them in order to discourage him from running for re-elction? No. We say such things because we think the guy sucks.

The problem is Bachmann is playing along…

She hired Ed Rollins, and then claimed herself as leader or the Tea Party

I just saw a video, posted by someone at HotAir, where Bachmann basically says that it’s not Palin’s turn and she should wait until Her kids are grown.

        Bachmann is dead to me.

        • Frederick

Interesting. Even though Palin basically spearheaded the 2010 victory with her endorsements, and rallies all over the country, she never, not once, claimed any mantle over the Tea Party in any way.

That “Quote” had to be corrected. She never said it. I know… It’s hard to believe that the MSM would get a story or quote or counterfeit report wrong, but they did. If Rollins is ‘crafting’ the position or speeches that is a problem, but if he is coordinating and making sure that things are getting done that is fine.

        • Anonymous

The first thing Ed Rollins did after she hired him, was to start attacking the other candidates.
          Not cool.
I don’t care if he was doing her bidding or not.
It was not cool. But he’s known for that sort of thing.
          And she hired him.

She also voted to extend the Patriot Act…which has been amended so many times it no longer resembles the original Patriot Act.
That is a big problem for me.

Sorry Richard…I don’t think that Obama is an idiot who doesn’t know what he’s doing.
I think he knows exactly what he is doing.
And if he gets a 2nd term, we will see the full extent of the horrors that he is planning for us.

But I agree with you about Biden…he is an idiot.
        That’s why Obama picked him.

      • Anonymous

        Richard,
There’s no comparison between the two. Sarah Palin ran Alaska very well, was well liked, and very capable. She was also a mayor, and ran her own business prior to that. Obama has destroyed this country, he is a sociopath, and he is dangerous. He lies to the American people on a continuous basis. The reasons we don’t like him are obvious. They don’t like her because she is representative of what America was founded on, and that is what they want to destroy. I agree with Rush. They promoted McCain because he “Reached across the aisle.” He went along with them. I don’t want someone who will get along with Karl Marx, I want someone who will destroy him.

    • Anonymous

Since libs lie continuously, why should we believe them – as every election cycle they try to steer us away from conservatives.

When they were telling us Reagan couldn’t win, there was ONLY liberal media: no conservative talk radio community, no internet, no FOX News. The ONLY thing you heard was how Reagan was a stupid, simplistic clown who played second banana to a chimp.

      • Anonymous

        Yep.
        I remember that.
They were also soooo surprised when we showed up in droves and voted him in.

Hang on,,,,Bachman is more qualified because she has held office? Hey Martin,,,,the Governorship of a state isn’t some prize you get in a Happy Meal.

What a moron. Oh wait,,,that’s not right. You have an english accent. And that makes you smarter than I am because I sound like a southern redneck!!!

    • Anonymous

Now that’s just funny!!! Thanks for the laugh. :)

  • Frederick

I’ll tell ya. It really pisses me off to no end whenever pundits capitalize on Sarah’s resignation freely acting to project whatever they want while completely dimissing the governors actual reason for resigning. This woman had 15 ethic complaints filed against her in nine months, and something like five more the day after. An ethics complaint was just filed against her a few weeks ago. This bashir guy on CNN was trying to sell the idea that Sarah was in violation of some federal flag code, and therefore breaking the law right after she hit the trail with her bus tour. I’m just scratching the surface here.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/May-Jon/100002146373083 May Jon

How do we know martin isn’t mohammad bashir? He could be a sleeper cell waiting for his marching orders, until then he’s going to play the part of the clownish liberal progressive obamatron working at MSLGBT. His people, the pakistanis destroyed england, hence the name londonistan. LoL

As always, S.E. did a fantastic job.

What I am really beginning not to like is the fact that Martin Bashir, Christiane Amanpour and Piers Morgan are now what is considered to be what is needed for us American uneducated folk. I get the impression they are always talking down to us.

(With English accent) You see we are not as refined and educated as the English gentry, so therefore MSNBC, ABC, and CNN have now those fine respectable English accents to teach us how proper we all should be.

I just get a strong impression they think we are all trailer trash.

    • Anonymous

      Of course.
They think we are provincial knuckle-draggers who must be told what to think.

      • Anonymous

But you substantiate the knuckle dragging by wanting to give an illegal president a free pass!

You still think a new president will fix things.

No! They will just create new Constitutional Law by precedent!

And not by the Constitution’s Amendment Process!

        • Anonymous

          Eh?
Nothing I have ever said could be considered that I am advocating giving the Squater a ‘free pass’.
          I was commiserating with you.
You might want to look that up.

So this is me…trying to be nice…even though you’ve basically called me a ‘knuckle-dragger’ here.

          • Anonymous

These are your words …..”What would you suggest that we do, NUTN?

At this point, what else can we do but vote him out next year…and then reinforce the wording in our Constitution to prevent this from happening again?”

That is giving the illegal usurper a free pass!

            • Anonymous

              What is your damage, NUTN?

What you are conveniently leaving out of your rants, is the fact that it is the Race Card that gave Obama his ‘free pass’.
And it is the Race Card that continues to give him a free pass.

Anyone who brings this up this subject, is labeled a ‘racist’ or a ‘whacko’…because of the Race Card and political correctness.
It’s absurd, of course…but it is what is going on.

The slimestream media gave him a ‘free pass’, not me.
And most conservatives are too intimidated by this to even say anything about it.
The conservatives in Congress were too intimidated to speak up about it when Pelosi was certifying the DNC’s claim that Obama was eligible to be POTUS.
They knew that they would be condemned as ‘racists’.
              And the rest is history.

              Now leave me alone, NUTN.
I can see that it was a mistake to even reply to you in the first place.
I now understand why most folks just ignore you.

              • Anonymous

No! You gave Obama a free pass. You, with your own chosen words have given the illegal usurper a free pass! You are in a mental state of denial!

It is because of traitors such as you who lack the courage and decency to stand up to this violation of Constitutional Law that it has been allowed to go
on for three years! You have just thrown America under a bus!

What ever happened to “sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me?”

For you it’s “Names will hurt my feelings, please don’t call me names. I am too weak to withstand name calling!”

Don’t ever call yourself an American!

                • Anonymous

@NUTN2SAY: What, *precisely* – given the Constitution and body of law, precedent and processes governing our nation – do you propose to do about Obama?

And, again being cognizant of the Constitution and related laws, and being practical and realistic as a true patriot must be, please tell us: Between your way and the way most Americans who want Obama gone (the election of 2012), in all honestly which one has the highest probability of actually happening. Please justify your answer.

Please don’t waste time ranting about what you really think happened or should happen – that’s a waste of time. Tell us what can *actually* and *realistically* be accomplished given the reality we all live in, with its very real laws, precedents and legal due processes.

I agree wrt Bashir, Amanpur and Morgan – eurotrash the entire lot.

However, if you haven’t already, I *strongly* recommend reading anything written by Daniel Hannan – Englishman, Member of the EU parliment, conservative, appreciator of America and our role in the world. To get a flavor of him, check YouTube or his blog (http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/author/danielhannan/). He’s amazing.

I just read his book, “The New Road to Serfdom”. Again, highly recommended. His outsider view and broad experience and understanding provide a great perspective.

It’s in all aspects of Americana not just politics. Look for example at Americas Got Talent, which of the three judges is from America? If you chose any of them,” Sawry” that would be the wrong answer. I guess we just have to face it, the only ones that know what Americans like or what we should do to preserve our constitution, are foreigners.

Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You couldn’t be a thinking person and vote for Obama. I remember how they tried to make everyone believe Ronald Reagan was stupid. I will turn on Michelle Bachman in a heartbeat if she doesn’t put a stop to this.

  • http://profiles.google.com/tantocomo Derek Hanusch

Way to go SE standing up for conservatives vs Martin Bashir, but I gotta say Newt really went out on a limb yesterday more than you give him credit. He was the only one who said we’re in a depression. Are we in a depression? maybe not quite, but that debate is ripe. Also he was the only one who rejected the premise of one of Jon King’s ridiculous questions, the immigration question.

Of course there is truth that Newt’s imploding over the last month probably overshadows his performance last night, and I don’t support him for the nomination anyways, but he really went out on a limb last night enough for me to stand up for him here! lol

Bachmann was looking good for sure!

    • Anonymous

A lot of us thought Newt would be great in the debates. I hope he stays in the race up to the end, just for that reason. When he’s not terribly busy munching his metatarsils, he brings the heavy, historical knowledge that most on the stage never bothered to learn.
(In the case of the journalists, they didn’t have the prerequisites to take the class:
      1) Ability to remember past last week
      2) Curiosity about facts, and most importantly.
      3) How to look stuff up.
      )

I love these strong conservative women.
I can’t vote as I am Canadian, but the only guy I’d vote for is Ron Paul, conversely I’d vote Palin in a second, Bachman also looks strong. I need to be able to trust somebody, they need to be outspoken in their opinion and uncompromising.
I also love the conservative women pundits. Michelle Malkin, Ann Coltier, and of course S.E. cup. Ann Barnhardt is something to see.
