Ben Shapiro schools CNN’s Brian Stelter on media bias

Ben Shapiro was being interviewed by CNN’s Brian Stelter on the issue of media bias and Shapiro quickly honed on the recent gun protests as an example of ‘egregious’ media bias. (h/t: Newsbusters)

Watch:

I love how when he’s got nothing else, Stelter questions the motives of conservatives by suggesting they just want to get rid of the media altogether. What a putzy thing to say, which is just another way to say our motives are extreme or something. But Shapiro won’t let him get away with that:

I don’t think questioning the motive is a useful thing. If you can point out to me where the critique is wrong I think that’s one thing. If the suggestion is that the critique is invalid, because the motive is invalid that’s another. So, again, I think if you don’t like the motive, then ignore the motive and take the critique in so far it’s effective. Right?

Shapiro points out that he doesn’t want to get rid of the NY Times or CNN. He simply wants them to do what they claim they do, which is objective journalism.

Exactly.
