***UPDATED***

On the subject of Iran this morning, Biden said that when Obama took office in 2009, America was the problem:

That’s struck a few people on twitter the wrong way. Jim Geraghty from National Review wrote:

Stephen Hayes from the Weekly Standard had a few things to say:

Guy Benson from Town Hall reminds us of Biden’s foreign policy chops in 2008, when he suggested we just send a ‘no strings attached’ check for 200 million to Iran. It was quickly shot down by his advisers.

UPDATE: Go read Jim Geraghty’s piece on just how wrong Joe Biden is in his statement above.

    FIRE BIDEN!!!!

He is a fool and a disgrace to the office! The best thing O could do is to dump his fanny and find himself a solid running mate. The crap the VP has said this last week is deplorable.

I’m half expecting Biden to “retire” soon to “spend more time with family” and Hillary to “step up to the calling” and become the Veep for the reelection bid. Won’t do Obama any good because I think he really is ONE and DONE! but should be interesting to see how they’d spin it if it happened.

    • MacSwain

Dump Biden? The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. Biden opens his mouth and out pours what Obama wants said but doesn’t want to say himself. Being an election year he has to stop disparaging and apologizing himself and use his useful idiot.

November 6th they both get dumped.

By the way.. you said he needs to find himself a solid running mate. There is not one in the Democrat Party, they forced all those decenters from the Hard-LIne Liberal Mantra out years ago. The last they tossed was Senator Joseph Lieberman and I don’t think any are left.

Obama would have to go to the GOP to get a solid running mate and I don’t think anyone there is likely to take the job.

      • steprock

In all seriousness, I think Biden is a complete loose cannon. I don’t think he says what Obama wants him to; I truly think he’s a complete fool and is constantly off message.

I don’t know the Dem heavy hitters, but Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton come to mind. I’m just saying, he’d be smart to dump the loser of a VP and go with someone to stir up excitement in his camp.

(Not that I WANT him to! Biden is the gift that keeps on talking!)

        • MacSwain

Yeah – Suuuure you want Obama to keep Biden

          ;-)

          • steprock

Biden is great! His words are like a glass of cool water for a drowning man.

  • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

Now Obama and Biden really ARE the problem… Not for Iran… For America! Vote ABO!

  • Susitna

VP bin Biden speaks like a radical Muslim! We will have to check his underwear in the future……

    • Sober_Thinking

      ROFL! Brilliant!

      He might accidently assassinate himself…

  • johnos2112

If the USA is the problem then why does Iran believe in destroying Israel? When has the USA said they would destroy anyone for the sake of threatening a country? The USA liberates people but some people on the left say we occupy. Keep talking Biden!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez

Thank Gawd all that bowing by Obama smoothed things over.

    • Sober_Thinking

      Lol… great point.

    • NYGino

Right. Think where we would be if he didn’t go around kissing up to our ideological enemies. Why we might still be a country that was looked up to and respected and considered a real force in the world.

      • GreenBeretWay

We still have the respect of the countries that matter, our true allies. They see the situation for what it is.They know what happens when too many stupid people were taught by Acorn how to vote.Hopefully after four years the ignorant will have forgotten they know how and stay home. We are still a force in the world,it’s just some leaders (and I can’t name names) have acorns between their legs instead of bunker buster gonads.

        • NYGino

Trying not to be facetious GBW but are you including England, Poland, Germany, Israel, Canada, Mexico, all of South America, Russia and the people in the green revolution in Iran in that group? How about Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia or any of the Obama encouraged Arab Spring nations?

          • GreenBeretWay

You seem down in the dumps Gino.Frustration has become a daily event for all of us. I read the headlines and the stories and wonder what are they going to do today. How far into the abyss are we going before we stand up and say,” Oh Hell No”
The leaders of the world are waiting for a real man to respect. We have watched the world evolve into a place we don’t recognize anymore, countries falling, but I have to have faith that many will see the error of their ways and say,”Oh Hell No”
When you drop to the lowest degree you can only learn from the errors and come back fighting. I am still grateful I wake up in America everyday even though it’s looks more and more like France. But hey they eats damn snails, what can you expect.

            • NYGino

Thanks for the uplift GBW, you’re right, I am feeling down in the dumps today and I needed your anti pity party post to perk me up. (anti pity party post to perk me up-hey I do feel better).

  • aPLWBinAK

    Hey Joe….Biteme!

  • StrangernFiction
  • Islam_Sucks

This is what Dem-entia looks like.

  • Sober_Thinking

Biden has become a freakshow. Seriously… the man has had a stroke or is doing shrooms or something. I’ve never heard a VP say such ridiculous or outrageous things. This man is completely delirious. Pray for Obama that no one assassinates him… because Biden is THAT much worse.

If Biden’s comments are indicative of this regime’s beliefs, then we’re all in for a lot of trouble if these bozos get re-elected. We already were… it’s just that much worse now. Insanity is rampant. These guys are the most anti-American “leaders” (cough) I’ve ever seen in such high (literally and figuratively) office. Amazing… simply amazing.

    • steprock

I’m with you. Biden is a complete and total disgrace. I cannot recall a more incompetent person in such a high office, Obama included. Even Obama-loving Dems should be doing a major facepalm.

Selecting this man for VP shows Obama’s incompetence in big, bold neon lights. No doubt, this will be all over the evening news. Beuller? Beuller? No?

  • GreenBeretWay

Poor Joe, He can’t help himself. He has the same IQ as a blow up doll.

    • E. Lee Zimmerman

… and possibly as much errant hair.

    • Rshill7

Yep, were it not for the pressurized CO2 keeping his head expanded, it would be collapse on it’s hollow self.

  • Rshill7

Our biggest problem is ignorant voters. Gullible imbeciles. Another big problem is institutionalized failure, which contributes to keeping the voters ignorant sheep. They are taught to applaud failure and waste, and rail against common sense and fiscal discipline.

There is no end in sight to the continuing dumbing down of America. We are populated by the dumbest generations in our history, and the most corrupt media and politicians in our history. America is committing suicide and we are eyewitnesses.

    • NYGino

“America is committing suicide and we are eyewitnesses”

No point, just wanted to repeat that unfortunate truth.

  • libnot

    So damn embarrassing.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_E4C65QOIQ4XH67F6MEHWTXGODY Alan

Gosh, Biden sounds like a Ron Paul supporter, it’s America’s fault.

  • maynardb50

    Idiot !!!

  • NYGino

We have a vaudeville act in the White House that is destroying us.

  • Arrrggghhh

I love the pic! It really captures Joe’s essence.

    • Rshill7

Between O’s big stick and Joe’s “essence”, we’re being led into the abyss by a couple of d*ckheads.

  • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Ozzie

More setting of the stage- My guess is that Biden is getting the boot for Hilary, and they are trying to associate all the baggage from the administration to Biden so that they can spin it as a renewed campaign that American can believe in because now they got rid of the problem.

Look for more “gaffes” as Biden begins to get heat and start going uber crazy by talking poorly on the economy and pushing the failed policies such as stimulus and Solyndra as great implementations of government.

    • poljunkie

My husband agrees with you Ozzie. He thought Obama would replace Biden with Hilary from the start.

My husband thinks it will be a way for Obama to attempt to capture some of the Hilary supporters back who had their heart ( and mind ) stolen by Gov Palin.

I dont think they will come back to Hillary but then again- there are an awful lot that say they wont vote for Romney. So that could be Obamas plan.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Skip-Thompson/100000245516633 Skip Thompson

At what point in time will it occur to Biden that he and Obama ran on a platform where talking with Iran was the answer? That the entire world agreed with them. That in no way would they be implementing “Bush’s third term.?

At no time did they ever mention that they would be unable to convert the rest of the world to their ideas. Yes, those very same ideas, that during their campaign – they claimed were their own.

In fact, didn’t Obama get a Peace Prize? Didn’t the rest of the world fall in love with him? Whatever happened to that?

Oh, well. Not to worry. Israel will defend America…

  • NYGino

Bush had a very long run as the “IT WAS HIS FAULT” target. Is Biden ready to step into that very useful position?

‘The people of the United States should know that my previous running mate, Vice President Biden, had an extremely important advisory role in my first term and you’ll be glad to know that any mistakes or missteps that occurred during my first term can be directly attributed to his errors in judgement. I have every confidence that these slip-ups will not be repeated now that I’m running with Nancy Pelosi’.

    • WestGAFlash

      Holy crap, what a strategy.

      Never know, though………..might work.

      • NYGino

Never let a crises go to waste.

        • Rshill7

Nor any botox. Biden needs botox in his mouf. Pelosi needs it in her soul, her face, her mouf and her minority status. Got to freeze her in that minority status.

The house should stay republican for the rest of her natural life…after which she’ll come back as the new lead in Weekend at Bernie Sanders, and rule with an iron, ashen, fist.

          • NYGino

Think she’s way past her natural life, been going deep into the unnatural for a long time now.

  • bjohnson55

Biden is with-out a doubt the biggest Moron to every be a heart beat away from being the most powerfull man on earth. If that one fact does not make you lose sleep at night then a nightmare on elm street won’t either.

Will the America hating ever stop with these statists?

Other than Joe being an incompetent blithering idiot, doesn’t he look a lot like Mr. Ed (the talking horse)? His teeth always look like they are about to fall out…. is it just me?

    • NYGino

Mr. Ed walked into a bar, the bartender looked up and said “why the long face?”

      • Rshill7

Mr Ed: “You’re picking on me while John Kerry exists? Go all selectively outrageous much?”

        • NYGino

The bartender was a liberal from Massachusetts who’s brother-in-law worked for the Boston Globe.

  • leftwinglooney

Does anyone really want this inbred moron to be 2nd in command and have his finger on the nuclear button. I am not sure who is dumber, Obama or Biden?

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/TBMRE5AH3RPJI62TGPHZEN7R7Q Crystal

With Iran’s crazy president thinking everyones the problem except for him. Biden is only half right on that. In Iran’s eyes freedom has always been the problem.

  • FreeManWalking

When 0’Biden thinks “That Is The Problem”.

Not that I would want to contribute to the 0b0 campaign, but for $0.50 a throw.
If they would line 0’biden against the wall like in my junior high Dodge Ball days, I’d take $25.00 bucks worth of throws at trying to knock some sense in his noggin.

but none of those red kick balls, give me the soccer ball aired to the max.

  • GEDouglas

Just keep running your mouth joe…PLEASE!!!

  • PapaLouie

Democrats always think America is the problem.

  • PVG

    I AM SPEECHLESS……….

  • badnewzbearz

Pretty amazing hearing this from Biden. No politician in our lifetime has been MORE WRONG on foreign policy, MORE OFTEN than Biden. This guy opposed Operation Desert Storm, wanted to divide Iraq into three countries, etc., etc.

  • agas84363

this man is a(n)___________ (fill in the blank to meet your own needs)…..nothing more to say! vice president,,,,,,,,what a joke!!
