Biden is out smearing Romney today over Bain’s dealings with GS Technologies (steel company) arguing that he and Bain were out to make money for investors even if it was at the expense of every single job in the process:

2:02 Mark – Some of Romney’s defenders say that it’s not fair to criticize Romney for this. And they go on to point out that it’s not the job of investors, it’s not the job of Bain Capital or any other company like that, it’s not their job to create jobs, it’s their job to create wealth for the investors. That’s true, it’s their job to create wealth for the investors. If it creates jobs in the process, good! If it costs ALL the jobs in the process, OK! It’s to make sure that their investors get a return on their investment.

That’s why this man’s in politics, not business.

      Biden?

      • JoelDick

        Yes.

Another Forest Gump moment for Biden-“Stupid is as stupid does.”

Can the VP Candidate be selected BEFORE the convention so He/She

Can rip Joe Plugs up to shreds ?

    He such an embarrasment

For moment his brain power doubled – when this fly landed on his head

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_IDAKYMXLZIRLMLGEZJXV3AOO7E Vorlath

VP’s are announced before the convention all the time. It’s official at the convention, but there’s no need to wait until then.

  • johnos2112

And with Bain capital they are not responsible of what the investors once Bain helps them out. This is liberalism in a nutshell. Govt needs to come in and put the clamps on investors of companies. Everybody wins always regardless if companies are losing their shirts.

This really shows Biden and Obama are an enemy of investments and investors unless in Solyndra. Just give a load of tax payer money and whocares if they don’t get a return. This is why the economy won’t generate the jobs we are capable of because Obama and Biden are job stranglers. Businesses don’t trust Obama.

    • badbadlibs

Sadly, entirely too many American’s can’t grasp the truth, which you just summed up nicely.

Yes, Bain was in business to make money for their investors. This topic seems to not be understood by many. Bain Capital took failing companies and loaded them up with more debt so they would fold. I can’t understand why people can’t figure this out, it’s how Mitt made his millions.

Yes, Bain did create some jobs. I just don’t think it was as many as he’s lead people to believe. Venture capitalists are a win some, lose some business and not all of it is pretty by any means.

Personally, I couldn’t do business like this knowing I was responsible for putting people out of work. It just isn’t an honest living as far as I’m concerned.

  • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Ozzie

Haven’t we lost about 2% points of the population in the employment pool? How many jobs has this administration cost by forcing people out of the workforce?

    • kong1967

They don’t count. The only thing that matters to Obama is the doctored unemployment number. Someone who truly cared would not omit the people that he completely left behind and out of his data.

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

Um, Biden, isn’t the whole point of capitalism to make money for your investors? Somebody really needs to sit Joe down and explain to him how the free market and capitalism works. Who does he think investors are? One or two guys? Investors are a whole range of people and other companies and if they make money, that’s the way the process works. Those workers may have lost their jobs, but how many jobs were created by Bain and how much money was made for its investors? If the answer is “A Lot,” then Romney was a successful capitalist. No crime in that.

    • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Ozzie

Investment is only good when it’s other people’s money.

      • Linky1

Isn’t that called redistribution of wealth???

    • kong1967

Investors are in the many millions. 401k. When the libs complain about profits they are guilty of doing the same. The profits are for them, too.

    • Rshill7

No crime indeed. On the contrary, succesful capitalists used to be looked up to in this country. That was right and proper and needs revisiting. It needs to be inculcated in our youth, which means that our public schools, colleges, and Universities need to be purged of the insanity that engulfs them and our children.

That is the true crime. The indoctrination of our people, by fools. Flowering fools, flocking fools, felonious fools. we have a fool epidemic in this country and we need to somehow get a handel on that.

  • FutureOnePercent

What does this guy think investors invest in?

    People just baffle me sometimes.

    • badbadlibs

“People” don’t baffle me…it’s these nimcompoops called democrats left here by the mother ship that have my head spinning…there just is no rational explanation for someone like biden…

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_IDAKYMXLZIRLMLGEZJXV3AOO7E Vorlath

Yeah, it’s really oxymoronic what Biden is saying. So much so, that it’s become simply moronic.

  • keninil

So Biden is arguing “It’s bad to cut jobs to make a profit” but “It’s okay to cut jobs to be green or to stick to a principle”.

    • kong1967

      Bingo.

  • Sober_Thinking

Keep talking Joe… you’re a one-man gaff machine and sooner or later, you won’t be able to help yourself… you’ll say something really stupid. This is still stupid (what you’re saying in this clip)… but it’s lukewarm stupid. Everytime you flap your gums, I reach for the popcorn. You are the Three Stooges all wrapped in one stooge. Delusional lapdog.

    • kong1967

I’m surprised Obama hasn’t put him on a leash yet.

      • Sober_Thinking

Most dogs do it ON the paper… he does it and ends up IN the paper… right after stepping in it. Bad dog! :)

        • kong1967

He must be a weenie dog, because he doesn’t scare me.

          • Sober_Thinking

All bark and no bight… :)

  • teri_b

I saw someone from the steel company in question on Fox this am. It seems as though he had a very high regard for Bain, and Mitt Romney in particular. I missed most of it because I was busy, but he pretty much refuted the attacks on Romney. I think it was Megyn Kelly interviewing him.

  • Rshill7

O’s job seems to be this: To lose money for investors even if it cost every single job in the process. See the difference? This government is like a specially designed pump capable of pumping every dime, much faster than it comes in, right back out…into the abyss! Give me the Romney model any day of the week!

This government throws money at countries that hate us. It throws money at a public school system to reward disgusting failure. It throws money at public sector unions to further reward disgusting failure. This government cannot waste money fast enough. It throws money at couch potatoes that can’t lift a lazy finger to help themselves. It takes from me and gives to them. A fire couldn’t burn money as fast as this government, it would choke on too much fuel. But politician’s like this asshole takes pride in his ability to waste it, burn it, shred it, and distribute it to his friends…you know, other whores like he.

I am teetering on the nth degree of digust. This bloated federal government can’t do anything with any efficiency other than kill folks. It completely screws up everything it touches, just like unions do. The government is a terminal disease on freedom and fairness. It is a malignant tumor on common sense. It could not be less efficient. The private sector can do everything better, quicker, smarter, more efficiently and for less money. However, those in charge, insist that I am “not paying my fair share”.

Well, that’s absolutely right. I am paying much, much, more than my fair share! I am also paying the share of leeches! The fair share of purposeful losers, gleeful takers, illegal aliens, other countries! What is the fair share of the 50% of folks who don’t pay squat? Is zero their fair share? How about the people who don’t pay squat but still get back thousands? Good grief! What’s wrong with this picture? This is not America. I don’t know what it is. It’s like a growing multi-headed bloodsucking hydra.

    Dear Godzilla:

You are cordially invited to come slay the hydra before it slays itself…and us.

    Sincerely,
    The Enslaved

    • kong1967

A good example of the union/government process is the post office. They wanted to lay of thousands of people so they could bring costs down. Nope, the union fought it. They have no concept of business survival. All they care about is holding their hands out and forcing people to put money in them even if it is self destructive on them and those they take the money from.

      • Rshill7

Absolutely right sir. Back in the day when Samuel Gompers was testifying to congress, one of the congressmen asked him, “Mr. Gompers, just what is it you want?” More. That was his answer. We want more. Evermore.

        Quoth the Raven, Evermore!!!

        • kong1967

Well, we’re going to have to get out the arse-kicking boots or this country will be nevermore.

  • kong1967

…and? Their job is to save the company….even at the cost of jobs. Liberals need to get it out of their heads that the company exists so we have jobs. Not true. We have jobs because some wealthy people want to make some money and they need help with the labor, technology, records, and etc. If they don’t need us there are no jobs…period.

    • Rshill7

Unions killed that company in the same manner they have killed other companies, towns, cities, states and municipalities. The rotting corpses of these dead companies litter the midwest. Unions force companies to overpay dead weight weasels that actually decrease productivity rather than increase it…and what recourse does a company have against a strike? What recourse???

A strike is a gun to the head of the business owner. Is it negotiation? No. It is anything but. It is extortion plain and simple. Legalized extortion. A company that is unionized is at the “mercy” of the unions, which then plow money back into the party that make running a business in this country even more onerous, expensive and difficult. Companies are strapped, slapped, and crapped on by unions and this leftist government.

If the damned government means to be the only employer in this country, just go ahead and say so. Strut your true colors out into the sun and lay there till the sun burns you to a crisp, and the sons and daughters of this country rip your heads clean off.

Many of us have absolutely had it with purposeful incompetence and national suicide.

      • kong1967

Union strikes should be banned and treated like job abandonment. I believe Reagan fired a bunch of air traffic controllers when they didn’t return to work after he warned them.

Kansas, my state, banned the transfer of union money to politicians. More states need to do the same.

If I had my way unions would be banned altogether.

        • Rshill7

Yes he did. I remember it vividly and was extremely proud at the time. That pride has not waned a bit.

          I’m in agreement.

      • Amy

As more states become RTW, the unions have less of a guarantee when they strike. There are quite a few up here who have capitulated and signed new contracts they first considered unfavorable because the company was ready & able to move the jobs to a RTW state.

    • badbadlibs

You do realize your logic, as sound as it is, goes sailing past the puny heads of liberals, right? Of course you do…. :)

      • kong1967

Yep, which is why I left “Opposing Views” and came here. A liberal TEACHER that visited that site told me he doesn’t need oil because he will ride his bike to work. That’s how dumb they are, and I feel sorry for the students he teaches.

Nope, much better here where people are intelligent.

  • 911Infidel

According to the polls Romney is running away from the Kenyan and his Crazy Uncle Joe.
I wonder if Crazy Joey can count the letters in “landslide” better than he can the word
j-o-b-s. Nah. That boy is about as bright as a 5 watt bulb.

  • aZjimbo

Dumb and dumber: biden and barry. And it continues.
