Bill Clinton on 9/10/01: I Could Have Killed Bin Laden. But Instead, I Didn’t.

Truth Revolt has posted today a 13 year old audio tape, recorded on the day before 9/11, that aired yesterday on Sky News in Australia. The tape features former President Bill Clinton discussing a missed opportunity under his leadership.

“I could have got him. I could have killed him. But I would have had to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and killed 300 innocent women and children. And then I would have been no better than him. So I didn’t do it.”

Bill Clinton, indeed the entire much-ballyhooed Clinton machine, has spent years fighting any attempt to tell the public about their own failures leading up to 9/11, and strove mightily to quash the airing of the movie Path to 9/11. Is it any leap to wonder what kind of revelations are out there about what steps were and were not taken under his leadership?

And just imagine the field day the left would have with a Republican over such a missed opportunity. Not just a missed chance to stop 9/11, but the fact that he bragged about it on peacnik grounds THE DAY BEFORE THE ATTACKS. Truly astounding.
