Bill Clinton: Romney’s overseas accounts are relevant just like my governing experience was relevant

Bill Clinton says that he believes Romney’s Switzerland and Cayman accounts are very relevant to the presidency just like his own governing experience was relevant to his presidency in the 90s. Um, that’s the comparison this genius is making? After all, Romney has governing experience, managerial experience, business experience, yet Clinton wants to suggest that overseas accounts are relevant as much as governing is? Talk about a streeeeeetch. Looks like Billy doesn’t want to get off message again.

Clinton is also “perplexed” that Romney won’t release more of his tax returns than what is lawfully required. The inference here that he is making is that Romney has something to hide. But if the shoe were on the other foot and this were Obama he was defending, he’d probably say it is good strategy not to give the opposition any more ammo than they deserve. And oh, by the way, when will we get to see Obama’s college transcripts?

  • Yes, but Swiss Bank accounts do not proposition state employees in Little Rock hotels.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Slick Willy is rapidly approaching the Carter “pathetic years” of his life. Reality can be ugly.

    • Joe

      That’s good!

    • marketcomp

Yea, really if you personally knew a rapist would you listen to anything he had to say? Well, that is indeed the case with Bill Clinton. He actually raped at least one women if not a number of others and that’s not even including the internship situation. These democrats will never get why no one listens to this ass****!

  • badbadlibs

If only enough American voters will understand that Romney has no scandals in his background and the left is pulling crap out of thier…er, air to make it look as if Romney was a criminal.
Romney needs to get some real bull dogs out there making waves, noise, anything to get the attention away from the liars of the left.

    • hbnolikeee

definitely. Mitt needs to have spend some of that cash on getting the best legal bull dogs to crush the lying sacks of excrement.

  • WordsFailMe

This is the last used-car dealing, backwoods, honey-tongued moron/baby-daddy in the world to accuse someone else of hiding the weenie.

Keep puffing bill. You’re face looks better when it’s a bright shade of commie-red. (If Hillary wanted to get even, she’d do Obama. If Michelle, then, wanted to get even, she’d send Barrocks to do Bill.)

      • WordsFailMe

    • Obviously, words didn’t fail you. LOL!

  • MrSmithInDC

So much fun watching Bill Clinton tip toe around the tulips.

I’ll bet you dollars to donuts (sorry Michelle) that Bill Clinton votes for Romney.

  • Sandra123456

You know what? I am sure the Kennedy’s have overseas accounts, as do the Heinz-Kerry’s and a lot of rich people both Democrats and Republicans. SO WHAT? I don’t care.

You know what? Romney is rich! SO WHAT? I don’t care.

Geez. Maybe since Romney got rich , he will know how to make this country rich unlike the Community Organizer in Chief.

  • capelady

And ALL of Obama’s records that he has sealed and spent millions of dollars to keep sealed are just as relevant! Romney should say he will open his records to the public when Obama opens ALL his records to the American people!

    • Wisewoman2

That would be my reply to this nonsense. I say that as an AA and a former democrat.

      • Jay

Congrats! Friend of Bill and recovering liberal here also!

  • 911Infidel

Lots of people have investments overseas including your plas Pelosi and Debbie WashyourHair-Shultz. But nothing that Romney has done can equal that big fat lie you told the whole world about you having sex with that woman. Or raping women. Or trading MIRV technology to the Chi-Coms. Or allowing Sandy Burglar to call of a missile attack on Bin Laden. Drop dead Willie. Your political views are irrelevant. You’re as clueless as Hillary Rodhead.

  • Clinton sexually assaulted his staff during his time in office in AR. Didn’t he?

    • Jay

Yes, and the state PO-lice covered for him.

  • KenInMontana

Just more desperation from the left, they are just going to keep going through their political trash’em sack of innuendo, half truths and outright lies throwing them wildly at the walls hoping that something, anything might even partially stick. It’s pathetic, really.

  • bjohnson55

So if Cigar Bill’s governing experience was relevant then why was Obama’s lack of governing experience not relevant? Oh I think I remember your wife making that very same point there Billy boy.

  • wodiej

There’s an elephant in the room and this is it. I have worked in the financial sector for many years. The wealthy create the jobs but they are also the ones who take advantage of the markets at the expense of the middle class. They are greedy corporatist who don’t care anymore about the middle class than the liberals do. If they did, they would not have billions in the banks.

The answer is to form a third party with Gov. Sarah Palin at the helm with a crew on board of Allen West and select others.

    • Freempg

I still don’t get why Governor Palin was so quick to nix the idea of a third party run if only to retain leverage over this current ship of fools. She might have at least leveraged a prime time speaking slot at the convention

If ever there was a time in our history where a third party might have won or at least kept either the Democrats or Republicans from attaining majority in the electoral college, this was it.

The election would have been thrown into the House of Representatives where each state is given one vote. With the new wave of Tea Partiers from 2010 and those coming in this year, even the RINO delegations in the House would have thought twice about supporting Thursten Romney and may have coalesced around Palin/West and their platform of sudden and relentless reform. Ah, what might have been …

      • KenInMontana

It’s quite simple actually, it was/is too late in this cycle to commence a third party run. Unless, of course your objective was to split the vote on the political right and let Zero renew his lease for another 4 years. Palin knew this, apparently she is far more intelligent than many of her “supporters” that carried on about how she “betrayed” them by her decision not to run, in this cycle. Of course when she said she would consider it, due to her constantly being harangued to run, many of her partisans heard only what they wanted to and not what she actually said.

Now would be a good time to start laying the foundations for a viable third party for 2016, and the 2014 midterms are far enough out for a “test run” for candidates for the House and Senate seats that will open up. That said, the time to start for that is now, start organizing and scouting out possible candidates.

        • Freempg

Ken, it is “quite simple” if you make assumptions not based on facts. I was not talking about a time when it was too late, which now it obviously is.

A third party challenge in 2016 would be idiotic, unless, of course, Obama defeats Romney (50/50 chance), and the Republicans repeat their insanity by foisting yet another RINO on us (greater than 50/50). Jeb Bush comes to mind.

Remember, the Democrats are not the stupid party, we are (they are evil). They will go back to their Clintonian third way nonsense and confess their sins for having gone too far left with the Marxist. It will be a ruse, of course, but the youngsters and other morons will fall for utopian nonsense again. Splitting the RINO/Conservative coalition in 2016 would be suicide, as there isn’t an incompetent leftist and an incumbent.

          • KenInMontana

Be offended all you like, if you want an echo chamber go to C4P. Speaking of making assumptions while ignoring facts. Just where in my comment do you find that I applied my comments to ALL of Palin’s supporters? I repeatedly used the qualifier “some of”.

Last time I checked there was no right “to not be offended”

            • Freempg

              Point taken.

              • KenInMontana

“echo chamber” noun, in this case a blog where the is no deviation from the “hive mind”, a place in which there is only one opinion, one point of view.

  • CG patriot

Asking advise from our former adulterer and Chief. *rolleyes* Hypocritical nonsense.

    O.K. ‘ ‘ ‘ fairs, fair– let’s form a line to see who or whom “doesn’t” have Swiss / off shore bank account’s in congress and let’s start with you Bill. {{{crickets}}}

  • Eat the Rich – we get it Libs… It must suck to be you!

  • I used to hate Carter… Then Clinton came along… Then I used to hate Clinton and figured things could never get worse…. Then NObama came along! Now? Now I’m waiting for the Rapture! Because things simply cannot ever get worse!…. Right?

  • Taking over Debbie Wasserman Schultz because she is losing the battle

  • BikerHoop

Bubba wants to talk relevancy? Ok… How relevant are you, Bubba? That’s what I thought, now go to your room.

  • leel004

As Scoop stated in the write up….one would “think” that a good comment by a ‘journalist’ would have been “wouldn’t it be fair to compare like you Mr. Clinton, to compare his governorship experience to possible presidency, like the media did when you ran for the office?” And like the other comments here what about overseas investments of Kerry, Billary’s, and Romey’s, compare all or NONE

  • Army_Pilot1967

Well, Mr. Clinton and all the others worried about Romney’s money, if the tax code here was updated and revised, maybe people wouldn’t need to shelter their money in overseas accounts….whatcha’ think? And Romney isn’t the only politician that has private monies in overseas accounts, I betcha’.

  • Nukeman60

This is just the opening salvo by Billy boy. Slick Willie has something up his sleeve when the followup questions will be asked. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t slip in something on Obama about past records before this is done.

Yep, we really need to crack down on Romney’s potential legal tax shelters overseas. Did I hear that right? Legal tax shelters? Doesn’t everybody try to minimize their tax liabilities?

Next, we’ll be going after those evil CEOs who make those legal bonuses and certainly those dreaded legal tax-deductible donations. How evil!

He compares looking at Romney’s legal assets to checking on his own personal affairs in Arkansas. I seem to remember some Whitewater scandal, don’t I, back when you were governor. I don’t recall you going to jail, although everybody around you did.

  • When is ANYONE going to bring up the rape of Juanita Broderick? Isn’t that relevant Bill?

  • PJRodman

Bill Clinton is looking a lot like FDR did at his last inauguration. Guess that’s why the health records have never been released. Not wishing anything ill willed against him, please don’t confuse that in my observation….he just doesn’t look well.

And with that said, and prayers for his health…he’s full of crap.

    • hbnolikeee

      you mean ill Willied

  • poptoy1949

Well SLICK, we all know what you placed and where you placed it.

  • Jay

Yeah, I’ll bet that evil, rich Romney has more overseas accounts than Clinton has women on the side.

  • Susitna

Billy is again thinking with his Willy like all rapists do…….

  • Bobemakk

Clinton trashing Romney, like the pot calling the kettle black. Clinton is still upset that Hillary lost to Obama and now he talks against Romney. Clinton was one of the biggest embarassments to the US as president. If anyone wanted to write a book about Clinton it would probably be volumes in length. The Clintons are phonies too just like the Obama regime.

  • rich wojcik

…as important as oversea’s accounts of Klinton, FuBar Ack, Michelle, Pelosi, Reid, etc.
