Bill Kristol clarifies: Sarah Palin has no future in politics unless she rehabilitates her image

Bill Kristol is one of the naysayers who thinks it was a huge mistake for Sarah Palin to resign as governor before her term was over and thus he thinks that single act killed her future in politics. And it’s these kind of people who have driven me batty ever since it happened. They don’t see it the way I and many of you see it, as a selfless act by Palin to keep the state of Alaska from having to bear the burden that she took on in becoming the left’s #1 target after the 2008 elections. People like Bill Kristol think it terms of political strategy and completely miss the bigger picture sometimes.

He then, explaining his reasoning, goes on to say that people generally don’t understand why she quit. But he’s part of the problem they don’t understand. People like Kristol hold it against her that she resigned and covey that attitude when they pontificate about it, just as he does in this clip. There’s always going to be the exploiters from the left and the MSM that just attack and smear, and they do her great damage in the process. But it’s people like Kristol, from within our own party, who continue to do damage as well when they refuse to see what she did for what it really was.

All of that said, I can’t say that I hate the idea of her running for Senate. It does seem a little small for her but at the end of the day her contribution is exactly what this country needs in whatever capacity it comes.
