Bill Maher to raise money for Alabama Democrats

First you must go read Michelle Malkin’s column today: The war on conservative women. It sets a great tone for this article.

To underscore Mark Levin’s point last night, well known misogynist Bill Maher, who called Sarah Palin a “dumb tw*t“, will be raising money for the Democratic Party in Alabama (h/t: National Review):

An Evening with Bill Maher

March 17, 2012 Chairman’s Reception at 7pm

Performance at 8pm

Come join Alabama Democrats at the Von Braun Center Concert Hall in Huntsville for an Evening with Bill Maher. 700 Monroe Street Southwest, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Tickets are $100 and include admission to the pre-event Chairman’s reception and prime seating at the performance.

Ah isn’t that nice. Rush’s comment is worth ginning up a national outrage, boycotting his sponsors and pressuring them to boycott him, and pressuring radio stations to drop him. But when Bill Maher calls Sarah Palin a c*nt and a tw*t, they all just laugh along.

And as a reminder of what Mark Levin pointed out last night, Louis CK is going to be headlining the Radio and TV Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner in June of this year.

Louis C.K. will soon be unleashing his epic rants on the capital crowd. The comedian and star of the FX comedy “Louie” is set to headline the 68th annual Radio & TV Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner June 8 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC. Sources say no topic is off-limits at the black-tie event. President Obama attended in 2009 but is not yet confirmed for 2012 affair. Louis may have to flex some uncharted material to win over the DC crowd.

This vile audio is what he is known for where he says the most hateful disgusting things you’ve ever heard about Sarah Palin. It is not bleeped so heed this:

CONTENT WARNING: LANGUAGE

I will condemn the president and any congressional Democrat or Republican who goes to this dinner with this guy headlining it. It is inexcusable for this wretched excuse for a comedian to be the entertainment at a DC event where top congressional leaders as well a the president normally attend.
