Dan Pfieffer is one of the more especially stupid ex-advisors to the moron-in-chief, as is evidenced by every single guest appearance he’s ever made on news shows, but he actually made a good point here that I hadn’t considered when I scoffed at a Bloomberg presidential run:

OK. The only problem with this is that he believes Bloomberg, running as an independent, would garner enough center-left votes to actually hurt the old white Democrat candidate, whether it be Cankles, or Cranky. Some are comparing Bloomberg to Trump just because they’re both New York billionaires, but there’s an essential difference – Trump is winning on his personality, not on his money-spending. And Bloomberg has absolutely zero personal charm compared to Trump. I think this would be a disaster.
But I’m only saying that because the Marco Rubio campaign sends me yuge checks to be a hack for them. I’d actually really like to know what you all think.
