Nanny Bloomberg says police officers should go on strike until Washington passes gun control legislation

Nanny Bloomberg is in disbelief that police officers aren’t collectively going on strike over the absence of more gun control legislation.

Seriously:

If he wants them to go on strike then I say all the ones who work to protect him, including his bodyguards, should go on strike first. Let’s see what he thinks of that idea then.

But more importantly, the reason they aren’t striking is because police officers know better than anyone that no matter how many laws are created in Washington banning assault weapons, ammunition and whatever else, criminals will still get their hands on it. They don’t care about laws banning this or that and if they can’t get it from a store they’ll buy it from some guy’s trunk.

Also, if Nanny Bloomberg seriously believes that more gun control laws will stop gun violence, I’d like to ask him how many people they arrest in New York for possession of illegal drugs in one year.
