Just when you thought all Bolton could talk about was foreign policy, he does a great segment on China’s economy vs our economy and debt.

To sum it up, Bolton really doesn’t agree with Trump that we are getting ripped by China. Of course they are cheating and stealing from us in several ways, but he doesn’t agree that China’s economy will out grow the US economy in 10 to 15 years. In fact he believes that all these tales of China’s super-growing economy could be greatly exaggerated.

He makes a lot of good points to substantiate this.

Impressive. I really hope he runs for president!

I feel sorry for those 10’s of millions of men who will never be married.

Don’t worry about them too much. They’ll probably live longer. LOL

10’s of millions of unmarried men mean expansionist armies being formed. It is the history of the human race. The more unattached males the more they seek “mates” outside of their country. Call it ELBOW room.

Bolton = smart. He’s smart enough and informed enough that he needs not to be defensive and needs not to use platitudes. Nor does he need ever to say “um.”

Great insights into China, including the all-important demographic. Thank you, Ambassador Bolton. Please join the fight for the Presidency so that you can bring facts to the discussion and lift it above the platitudinous.

When I had B.D.S. last decade, I “bought” the left’s maligning of Bolton: they painted Bolton as nothing more than mean and angry. When you are caught in the left’s net, you miss so very much. I am so glad I wrested their suffocating net from off my head.

I am impressed with his intellect, too. But there is something about him that bothers me. Maybe he should dye his mustache or something. :)

        Hmmmm.
What could it possibly be that ‘bothers’ you?

Surely it’s not his being a former member of Council on Foreign Relations, is it?

Perhaps it’s his participation at Bilderberg that’s disturbing you?

No matter – I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
It’s not really that important unless he decides to run for the Presidency, after all.

My conservative mom has the following saying: White man with white hair; no way is he electable as POTUS today. I Like your instincts in this matter….

  • RandomDude

Though not a huge fan of Bolton’s foreign policy, I find myself agreeing with him almost entirely in this particular video. He actually does seem to understand the nuances of the Chinese economy quite well.

  • Persephone

    I have always liked Bolton.
Heheh….I loved it when he walked out of the UN in disgust!

He is extremely intelligent, and articulates his thoughts brilliantly, off the cuff…no notes, no teleprompter.

And he is spot on about China…and the burden of our massive Debt.

Personally, I think we need to declare a Moratorium on all Foreign Aid, and on all overseas ‘policing actions’….until we are completely out of Debt.
    Let what happens, happen.
When there are no longer any safe havens to export American Jobs and Factories too….our economy will blossom again.

I was reading about China’s “ghost cities” which are crazy. kind of interesting to read about:

Yea I was just thinking about that myself, beat me to the punch. I believe China has a very fragile economy, and see as the politicians control it, it can be crippled, hence why they are always buying what they need in mass.

the reason China has never become a world power in their long history is it is a country deeply divded among themselves

China’s economy: something else bolton KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT.

Bolton is wise and a good man, and besides that anyone the left hates and is afraid of I like.

Well John Bolton speaks, everyone should listen. I’ll call him EF Bolton.

The Chicoms economy is all BS. 60% of GDP is construction vs US 3.5%. How long can that go on? Becuase of population density they have to build IBC 08 Type I buildings, which are very expensive to build regardless of labor cost and the workers don’t earn enough to live in said buildings. It would be like the janitor for Trump Tower living in the penthouse of TT. The workers don’t produce enough to afford the infrastructure in China. Yes it is that simple. The real estate bubble is Dubai times a million.

So we are printing money like crazy but the commodity drive from China is going to stop which will really put a lid on inflation for the US. My fear is that over the next 18 months the United States will gain about 3.5M jobs and Obama will get the credit. It is almost impossible not to gain 3.5M jobs over the next two years when you understand the demographics of the United States.

SARAH PALIN / JOHN BOLTON 2012!!!!!!!!

    Something to consider;

Note; this principal ALSO applies to the OLD
republican establishment
    (Bush’s, etc)

You can tell when the LEFT REALLY IS scared
of a Republican by the amount of vitriol their TROLLS spew.

    The MORE they SPEW,…

the MORE terrified they are the of the Republican
being able to beat
    their Dumb-O-cRAT candidate.

Sarah Palin is the PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THIS,
    as is Michele Bachmann.

Sarah Palin SCARES the we-we out of the
    Leftwing-Nut, Libratard, Progressive, Dumb-O-cRAT Party,…

    Because,..

    Wait for it,…

They KNOW Sarah Palin IS electable,…

AND IF she runs against barry in 2012,…

She WILL CRUSH him with indisputable numbers.

(44 or 48 state, LANDSLIDE. Barry will MAYBE get
IL & MI plus possibly MA, Hawaii, NY, & CA)

So they MUST do EVERYTHING possible to DESTROY her

AND her supporters BEFORE this becomes too apparent.

Unfortunately for them, it seems the cats out of the bag,…

    and it IS too late.

And put Cain and Trump in charge of the Fed, labor dept, Commerce..and anything else that has to do with the economy and we would be a Super Power again. this country would be respected and we would prosper more, and be more secure than any time in history.

Trump would have to earn my trust. I’m not sure he can.

The chinese men will be able to marry. They can import wives from muslim country. What women wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to be treated humanely.

Besides being a diplomat has he ever read a spread sheet,
Does he have any business experience or a degree in business, economists, finance

When your in business especially world wide operations, then you know it’s impossible to not deal with China.

Bolton should try an experiment, live his life without one product made in China, or it’s parts manufactured in China, it’s imposable, but I bet people in China can live their lives without one item manufactured in America, beside the Communist country demanding any foreign company who wants to operate in China has to collaborate with Chinese state companies.

The same people that said, wait until a sever recession comes, China and other developing countries wouldn’t be able to handle it as well as the developed economies, and as Buffet says, ‘ we’ll see who’s naked under the tide”, and it was proven false, it was and is the developed economies that handled and are handling the 2008 world wide recession worse, if it wasn’t for China and other BRICK nations our recovery would be even slower, China for the last 3 years has still grown 7% to 10%.
