In a move that is sure to make tons of whiny liberals wet their diapers, a Miami police union is calling for a denial of all police details around the Miami Dolphins stadium until players stop protesting the National Anthem!!
The controversial protest by Miami Dolphins players to not stand during the national anthem another turn Friday as Broward County’s deputies take a stand of their own against the hometown team.
“We’ve asked the deputies and the Broward Sheriff’s Office not to do the details anymore,” said Jeffery Bell, the president of the International Union of Police Associations, Local 602
BOOM! Good on them!! People should have to face some real consequences of their actions and opinions, and it’s way too easy for these goofball players to get away with “symbolic” gestures without any concrete repercussions.
Others say that it seems somewhat un-American for police to pull their protection from people when they disagree with them. But in this case, it’s a private contract, as far as I can tell. And that means that it’s no abrogation of the social compact police officers have made with the community. So quit yer cryin’, liberals.
Ironically, the New England Patriots browbeat the Miami Dolphins today, leaving them with an 0-2 record.
