Never tell Rudy Giuliani anything.
He’ll immediately spill it to Fox News:
President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani told Fox News on Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller told Trump’s legal team two weeks ago he will follow Justice Department guidance saying a sitting president cannot be indicted.
Now given his track record, Mueller probably told him something like, “I have a knot in my trunk,” and Giuliani heard “I will not indict Trump,” but still, it’s big news.
UPDATE:
SO it sounds more like they “can’t” not that they won’t or shouldn’t indict Trump:
President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has concluded it can’t indict a sitting president.
“All they get to do is write a report,” Mr. Giuliani told CNN. “They can’t indict. At least they acknowledged that to us after some battling, they acknowledged that to us.”
The conclusion is likely based on Justice Department guidelines and not a result of evidence gathered by Mr. Mueller’s team, CNN reported.
And that sounds like whatever they find, they’re gonna push the buck onto Congress, and they won’t do anything. So #MAGA wins again, suckers!!!
UPDATE!!!
I was right, suckers!!
Key exchanges tonight between Giuliani and @washingtonpost — Mueller himself didn’t seem to say anything, but a SC deputy called days later, per Giuliani pic.twitter.com/mRGosNAh5K

This is way more #MAGA than I am able to take.
