Most times the scumbags win in this fallen world, but sometimes, just sometimes, the scumbags get sued by an aggrieved party that’s secretly backed by a billionaire that is angry they outed him from the closet, and those scumbags GO BANKRUPT!!

Gawker filed for bankruptcy Friday in New York federal court shortly after a lawyer for the gossip website told a Florida judge that it couldn’t afford to pay a $140 million jury award to wrestling legend Hulk Hogan for posting his sex tape online.
The Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing says that Gawker has between 200 and 1,000 creditors, between $50 million and $100 million in assets and $100 million to $500 million in liabilities.
Everyone is freaking out because Peter Thiele paid for this lawsuit because he was outed by Gawker a long time ago. But who cares? The case itself was justified. Regardless, idiots on the left are wringing their hands for “what this means” for the media industry. What it means is that you have to follow the law and not be scumbags. Easy peasy, morons.
