It’s being reported that Israel’s cabinet flatly voted to reject Kerry’s ceasefire proposal:
JSPACE NEWS – Israel rejected ceasefire plans today, Israeli media is reporting.
The proposal, outlined by US Secretary of State John Kerry, would have seen an immediate end to rocket fire with negotiations to be picked up by Israeli, Palestinian and Egyptian leaders 48 hours later.
Sources close to the story, including Israel’s Channel 10, said the Israeli security cabinet voted against the deal as it broke for a recess around 1 pm EST.
Kerry made a hard push for the deal Friday, on the 18th day of the IDF’s mission to decimate Hamas in Gaza. Israel launched Operation Protective Edge July 7 after weeks of escalated attacks out of the Strip.

I bet Kerry has a sad.
Good. There’s no need for a ceasefire at this point. Israel needs to keep pounding Hamas and destroying their rockets and tunnels.
