UPDATE: ONE DEAD – Multiple people injured after attackers with knives go on rampage in Finland

Looks like we have another terrorist attack happening today, this one in Finland:

DAILY MAIL – Multiple attackers armed with knives have been shot by armed police in Finland after going on a rampage, it has been reported.

The attack is said to have occurred in the city of Turku, in the south of the country.

Police shot a man in the leg, according to reports.

Officials have warned people to stay away from the area.

Eyewitness have reported hearing one or more gunshots and seeing at least one person lying dead on the ground.

At least two people have reported hurt at the nearby Market Square.

According to local media site Uutiset, police tweeted: ‘Several people stabbed in central Turku. People are requested to avoid the city centre.’

Moments later a suspect was shot in the leg and arrested.

According to the AP there are six injured:

Tabloid Ilta-Sanomat says six people were injured, one man and five women, and that a woman with stroller was attacked by a man with a large knife.

The Turun Sanomat newspaper reported that at least one person was killed in the attack.
