BREAKING: Susan Collins gun-control amendment FALLS SHORT in Senate

The gun-control amendment Susan Collins was proposing only managed to get 52 votes, which keeps it from being tabled, but it didn’t get the necessary 60 votes that it would need to actually pass the Senate.

CNN explains:

I admit I’m a little confused on the technical procedure, but it doesn’t matter. Just as the CNN reporter stated, what this vote means is that Collin’s amendment isn’t going anywhere because it didn’t get enough support from other Senators.

It was a bad bill and shouldn’t have even gotten 52 votes.
