It’s being reported now that a train carrying some House and Senate Republicans to a GOP retreat somewhere in West Virginia has crashed into a trash truck in Charlottesville. Injuries are being reported, although we don’t know if they are severe or not:

One Congressman has been told that there are no serious injuries. He said this on CNN just now and also suggested it is under control.

Fox News is reporting that Paul Ryan is on the train but was not injured.

According to Pete Sessions on Fox News, there were two men in the cab of the garbage/dump truck. One didn’t survive and the other is in critical condition…

Members say it’s their understanding there is one fatality among the occupants of the truck involved in the accident with the train. Another truck occupant injures badly.
