According to new reports, Trump was told by none other than Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein himself that he’s not a target of the Cohen investigation that’s currently underway:

FOX NEWS – Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told President Trump last week that the President is not a target in the Cohen investigation, and that the investigation focused solely on Cohen, a source familiar with the investigation told Fox News.
President Trump already has been told he is not a target of the Mueller investigation, according to previous reports.
The source also said the Cohen investigation, together with the abrupt departure of John Dowd from Trump’s legal team, slowed, but did not halt talks about Trump sitting down for an interview with Mueller.
This is certainly good news for Trump. But of course that doesn’t mean they won’t find something at a later time that makes him a target.
It’s also interesting that it’s still up in the air as to whether he will be interviewed by Mueller. I can’t believe he’s still considering this.
