BREAKING! Yet ANOTHER unbelievable screw up that could have prevented Florida shooting!

Here we go again. This got absurd a long time ago, but the missed warnings and screw ups by Florida officials just kept piling on.

From ABC News:

Officials were so concerned about the mental stability of the student accused of last month’s Florida school massacre that they decided to have him forcibly committed more than a year before the shootings.

But the recommendation was never acted upon.

Documents in the criminal case against Nikolas Cruz show the school officials at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and a sheriff’s deputy recommended in September 2016 that Cruz be involuntarily committed for mental evaluation under Florida’s Baker Act for at least three days.

A commitment under the law would have made it more difficult if not impossible for Cruz to obtain a gun legally.

What’s suspicious is how it took so long for people to find these documents when the school and the cops were under incredible scrutiny over missed flags. Now these documents surface showing they did their job but someone else screwed up? Sounds fishy. But in any case, if it’s true it’s just another example of how the government failed to protect its citizens – and yet bizarrely people want to give it MORE power to fail defenseless subjects.
