Meet Mary Georgantopoulos, a news reporter for BuzzFeed News:
Today Mary Georgantopoulos, a ‘news reporter’, tweeted this out to her followers:
I'm reaching out to companies that advertise on Sean Hannity’s Fox show to ask about his continuing to pursue Seth Rich conspiracy theory
— Mary Georgantopoulos (@marygeorgant) May 24, 2017
Ok so you can feel about Hannity and his obsession however you want. Most people don’t like it given the requests of the family. But this is a news reporter who admits that she is actively calling Hannity’s sponsors and asking them what they are going to do about his show.
Kinda sounds to me like she’s leading a sponsor boycott of Hannity’s show. Is that something a ‘news reporter’ does?
Oh look, she got one:

She struck out with Pfizer though:
.@pfizer declined to comment about advertising on Hannity’s show after he said he will continue to pursue the Seth Rich conspiracy theory

In the article she wrote about this, she writes that Buzzfeed News has contacted more than 50 companies that advertise on his show:
BuzzFeed News has reached out to more than 50 companies that advertise on Hannity after he said he will continue to pursue the conspiracy theory.
Sounds like this little ‘news reporter’ has been busy trying to ramp up this boycott. Again, you can hate Hannity all you want, but is this really what a news reporter should be doing?
Maybe she should just drop the ‘news reporter’ from her title and instead call herself a Buzzfeed Liberal Activist, because it fits better.
UPDATE: Here’s another…
Pharma comp @AstraZeneca says it'll continue to assess its ad buys
