A bizarre event at the Capitol may have been caused by a leftist, possibly an Occupy Wall St. protester, when he committed suicide on the Capitol lawn which precipitated a lockdown. The Capitol police confirmed that he was holding a sign about “social justice,” though they didn’t say what was written on it:
As we reported when the story first broke, some witnesses have said the sign said, “tax the one percent,” a slogan popularized by Occupy Wall St. and other far left groups.
