CNN: Bombshell story about Roy Moore came through ‘chance encounter’

One of the pieces of evidence people put out to argue that that the accusations against Moore are all drummed up is the timing of the story – very conveniently before the election when the Republicans can’t get rid of Moore.

So here’s what CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter says is the origin of the story – just a “chance encounter.”

Watch below:

I very much doubt those that want this story to go away will believe that it came from a chance encounter, but that IS how many big stories come about.

So for those saying that the GOP establishment wants Moore out and orchestrated with the Democrats to stab him in the back with this story, why did they do it at a time when they can’t get the guy off the ballot? That doesn’t make sense, does it?

More evidence has come out after the original story – there’s an interview with an ex-boyfriend of the accuser who says she’s talked about it for years and that he believes her:

Well. Far be it from me to believe the word of a Packers fan. Those people can be bought off with cheese.

Then there’s the word of Former Deputy DA Theresa Jones:

Now before you dismiss this, remember that Judge Moore said in the Hannity radio interview that he didn’t remember dating a girl who said he had met her in a High School civics class, but he didn’t deny it out of hand.

But she’s probably a Packers fan too, so basically, we’re an impasse here.
