CNN just allowed a Democratic Congressman to compare Trump to HITLER and gave NO pushback whatsoever [VIDEO]

This is truly disgusting. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer just allowed race-baiting Democratic Congressman James Clyburn to compare Trump to Adolph Hitler and there wasn’t a single iota of pushback after Clyburn finished.

Watch:

Clyburn is clearly comparing Trump to Hitler when he says that Hitler was first elected as chancellor but only became a dictator when people were influenced by his foolishness.

He then adds that Trump was elected as president and he’s got a lot of ‘foolishness’ going on and that he’s afraid people are being influenced by that foolishness.

Thus, he argues, that people must step up and say that they are not going to allow one person to misuse an election, abuse the process and turn this country back on its head.

And when Clyburn was finally done, the only thing Wolf Blitzer had to say was that those were ‘very strong words’.

Ridiculous!

Look Trump may not be the most artful of people; he may be petty, juvenile, and combative. He’s far from presidential on most days, but he’s not a racist or a white supremacist. He’s not trying to influence people to hate nor is he trying to be a dictator.

Everyone is all over Trump about what he said yesterday at the press conference. You would have thought Trump raised a fist and declared ‘white power’ or something the way people are going on. It’s ridiculous.

The reason Trump said what he said yesterday, for better or worse, is because he’s been under siege since he released his first statement on Charlottesville. He is feeling very defensive as the media continues to try and tie him to white supremacism. It’s literally been an onslaught in cable news.

So what does Trump do yesterday? He does what he always does and tries to point out what he thinks the ‘fake news’ media isn’t saying in order to defend himself. So he argues that there weren’t just white supremacist groups there, but these thuggish leftist groups as well who were fighting. I honestly don’t think the was trying to draw a moral equivalency, but in his ‘gotta hit back twice as hard’ nature he just went at the media as hard as he could to expose their fakey fakeness to take some of the heat off of him.

I’m not saying that everything he said was good, but that I don’t think it was borne out of a desire to try and excuse these white supremacist groups.

That’s just my take.
