CNN runs segment romanticizing Taliban poetry

Townhall caught this segment on CNN where they are romanticizing poetry written by the same people who did this just a few days ago. Seriously, this might make you puke:

These guys should just become Afghan citizens so they can enjoy the poetry all the time. That is until folks realize they have a tie to the US …

  • Nukeman60

    Roses are red,
    Violets are blue
    The Taliban sucks
    And CNN, too.

There, I wrote a poem too. Does it change the atrocities in this region? No? I thought not.

    • Joe

      STOP IT !

      My stomach hurts.

    • NYGino

Nukeman, can I be your editor/publisher? You have great potential.

      • Nukeman60

You think we could publish a collection of my greatest hits – call it “Sins of Bo’s Father” or something like that?

I have to admit, though, that I don’t really write my own stuff. I have a friend, by the name of Bill Ayers, who likes to write most of my works. But, I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night.

        • Joe

His “father” made one big MORTAL sin

        • Linky1

          LMAO, Nuke, that’s priceless!

        • NYGino

Start working on your composite acquaintances. Keep it ‘truthful’.

      • 12grace

    • Linky1

That’s worthy of having your poetry “romanticized” on CNN!!!!!!

  • Army_Pilot1967

Yeah, there is something romantic about blowing up women and children. Where can I get my copy????

The taliban are human???? Rational human beings don’t blow up women and children.

    • warpmine

…they don’t do female circumcision without anesthetic, cut off the noses of females, they don’t blow up schools for females etc…..

  • WestGAFlash

Elizabeth Barrett Browning is turning in her grave.

    What rhymes with “camel?”

    • Arrrggghhh

Camel? I was wondering about clitorectomy or IED.

I’ll wait for the book written by their wives and daughters. Talk about grief.

    • Joe

      Not much>>

OH I know >>>> “Nuke them ASAP!”

      OH well – I tried

    • Nukeman60

Not camel. You used the wrong word. Try this:

“There was a young Taliban son
      Who’s exploits were commonly sung
      They sounded so fine
      Like sweet Chablis wine
But, for shame, they were mere camel dung.”

      • Linky1

        Even better than the first.

    • freenca

Trammel rhymes with camel, and trammel is a word for a triple ply fish net or a type of shackle, among other things. Most relate to some sort of confineing mechanism. That term does seem to apply to the Taliban brand, poetry and all.!

      • NYGino

  • NYGino

Are these two idiots serious? They’re saying the Taliban is misunderstood?

    • Joe

      Just like ZERO is

  • Linky1

Here’s another puke-worthy moment from Toronto, Canada:

Toronto: Muslim Cab Drivers Allowed To Refuse Riders With Dogs

  • NYGino

Maybe Harry Reid could double his stimulus money and include Taliban poetry with cowboy poetry and really stimulate our minds.

    • freenca

Only if he will move there to enjoy it to his hearts content!

  • Spartan1975

I think all these leftist American women who do not truly understand what is life in beautiful Afganistan under the Taliban, should schedule summer foreign exchange programs so they can report to these dopes in the leftist media!
I do not think they will even survive a summer, maybe then these idiots will truly understand the Taliban…..

  • Arab spring bleak
    barbarians cling to murderous ways
    women and children die

How’s that for a haiku CNN?

    • poljunkie

      I give you an A

  • sDee

What CNN did not followup on……

Sodomy “For the Sake of Islam”

    • Freempg

      Verse of the perverse.

  • JohnOfPhiladelphia

When I have children, if we ever get a television with cable, CNN, along with the “Adult” channels, will be strictly off limits. Any child who tunes in the Communist News Network will be severely disciplined. Of course that’s if CNN is still around when I have children.

Their ratings couldn’t tank faster frankly. I eagerly await the day when they are no more.

‘Despicable’ doesn’t begin to describe this.

  • sjmom

I don’t have to watch it to know the lies that are in it. This morning I watched Walid Shoebat, a Christian convert who was a radical Islamist and what he said was stunning, though not surprising. Anyone interested should watch Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural” this week. Mr. Shoebat explains much of what we are seeing and about to see in the world. This is more than eye opening, it is revelatory.

Thanks. I still don’t know how to link to sites so I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

        • toongoon

Glad to help sjmom. If you go to the site, just highlight the information on the URL bar at the top of the page, right click, , and then put it into your comment by right click,. Hope that works for you. 🙂

            Thanks, I’ll try it.

I’m pretty sure that the New York Time’s celebrated NAZI poetry. But, really. I digress…

Anyway, there is no way that CNN would do this without marching orders.

More to the point: Since CNN and all the other Dems actually supported kicking the Taliban out of Afghanistan, exactly how do they square this circle? I mean, how is this all supposed to work? Exactly, what is going on? One day Obama can personally sign off on an assassination of a Taliban leader … and his family … and everyone else in the area … and the next day … CNN is celebrating Taliban poetry….

    This is weird.

Are we, the American people, ever to be allowed an explanation? Are we the only people on earth not worthy of an Obama apology?

    • freenca

Is CNN now under the direction of NASA’s oureach program?

      • NYGino

You could be right freenca, after all NASA’s main thrust ( sorry) is now to lift (sorry again) the spirits of the Muslim world, as per the Impostor in Chief.

  • warpmine

Just isn’t doing it for me. Perhaps they, CNN could make into a rap for American youth.

  • poljunkie

  • G_unitttt

” the taliban are humans, just as we are”……so were the German SS and all the NAZI’s. they went home and kissed their kids and wives each night after loading jews into the ovens…..CNN is effing retarded. i am so sick of these morons

we must defeat these sick twists at the ballot box in Nov.

  • Sober_Thinking

Can’t/won’t watch. My only comment is: Only a sickeningly liberal station like CNN could find something “romantic” about terrorists.

  • NCHokie02

they were so stricken from the grief they experienced from their love life that they stoned their wives…..didn’t watch it. The TB is retarded and so is CNN for airing as something nice and great.

  • dennisl59

    Here’s a sample of a Taliban poem:

My wife, my slave, my wife
My slave, my wife, my slave
    Beat my wife
    Beat my slave
    Same diff’

  • AmericatheBeautiful_1

    Here’s my poetry.

    Roses are red.
    Violets are blue.
    They kill our soldiers,
    Seek death to America,
And oh yeah, to you Mr. Bearded Academic…they’ll kill you too.

  • 12grace

Have to admit hearing love sonnets by blood thirsty terrorist that want to kill anyone that differs from them….is heartwarming. Sarcasm.

  • Yazz55

Would be a perfect companion on the shelf to lovers of MeinKampf.

  • physicsnut

they have some cool hats, but poetry ? i dunno.

  • HopeHeFails

CNN is still on the air?

  • What do they base their statements on? Obviously They Are Mu-slims Supporters. And what is the accent I detect in the long face’s voice?

  • tinker_thinker

Good grief…as if the Taliban knows what love is…..these people are like pit bulls, bred for violence and hate.
