By The Right Scoop

The most frustrating things about liberals in the news arena is that they simply deny reality to make their point, and this morning Cavuto was not going to let that happen without a fight. After Jullian Epstein continued to spout the administration’s talking points and dismissed Cavuto’s concerns of similar patterns within all government agencies under scrutiny right now as conflation, Cavuto had enough and told his producers to cut his mic and moved on to the next guest.

And oh it felt so good. Watch:

Didn’t this Ben guy carry Obama’s water for 2012?

  • SurfinCowboy

Cavuto on FIRE! It is a police state situation. This guy is on record defending this now. Whadda nincompoop.

  • ellebb

I saw this when it happened.  Loved it.

  • froggy19510

You have to love Cavuto. I wish he would replace O’Reilley. If he did I would watch again.

    • mickeyco

I wish anyone would replace O’Reilly.

      • salty walty

        mickeyco Ditto mickeyco

      • Conservative_Hippie

        LOL!

      • K-Bob

mickeyco You could replace O’Reilly with a metronome and the show would be more interesting.

        • NYGino

K-Bob mickeyco   Mention a metronome to an old drummer and lots of memories begin to stir.  tock tock tock tock

    • Conservative_Hippie

      Absolutely agree!

  • NYGino

Cavuto lost this encounter.  His level of frustration, well deserved I might add, led him to a point where he looked and sounded out of control.  I’ve seen Epstein many times and my impression is that this is his game.  He always looks composed and self assured no matter the degree of illogical reasoning he is forced to defend.
This is why he has the job of a foot soldier in the regime.  Cavuto should have known his enemy and approached this discussion accordingly.

    • mickeyco

NYGino  You’re right, but, boy, was it fun to watch.

      • lanahi

mickeyco NYGino   This shouting over each other is so stupid.  They all appear to be nonlogical when that happens, and no one gets their point across.  They are all doing it now…it’s just a shouting match.  That’s not fun to watch.

    • doofuschmartz

Have to agree, NYG, especially since Cavuto is too much of a genius in his own right. He should have let Juliet (no, that’s not a typo), and let everyone not only hear but see how stupid he is. Any worse make-up job by that flamer and Mary Kay and Estee would be screaming for mercy…He was, as they say in “Gay Paree” de trop…his rhetoric was just plain stupid….

      • NYGino

doofuschmartz  “de trop”  haven’t heard that in a while,  nice description.

        • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

NYGino O/T I do believe the drought is over. :-)

        • NYGino

          AmericanborninCanada ditto O/T, gurgle, gurgle.

        • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

NYGino  lol yeah. tried to do laundry today. So far hung it up 4 times now and had to run and get it off the line. now it’s sitting wet in the pump house. Sunny finally but still raining and the yard’s flooded ;-)

    • LoJoFo

NYGino I disagree.  Go here, on Mother Jones, and read the comments.  This is a far-left website, and they are worried about the loss of our freedom.  There may not be a need to fight, but we all have to cease over-valuing being “nice.”  How about we stop wasting our precious time on nonsense.  http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/06/justice-department-electronic-frontier-foundation-fisa-court-opinion

      • NYGino

LoJoFo  Thank’s LoJoFo, I stand by my comments but was that little excursion into never never land eye-opening.  Are they finally starting to see the light?

        • K-Bob

NYGino LoJoFo Oh, we’ve seen this play before, though.  The first way-station when a leftist is running away from a disastrous party leader is always “a pox on both houses” (hence the desperate comparisons of barack to Bush), followed by “I’m looking into Libertarianism,” and then “We should have anarchy.”  That’s because each of those stops lets a renegade leftist still hate Conservatives and lie to themselves that they are still on the correct “side.”
Then after the dust settles from their failed leader, they start looking for more things to take control of.  The only common thread along the way is that they run away from their serial failures, and they think, “it wasn’t the policies that were wrong, it was the people we put in charge.”
          Frikkin’ idiots.

        • badbadlibs

@K-Bob Well, I should have read your post first, to have got a better perspective. I’ll return my “hope” button.

        • Dr. Strangelove

K-Bob NYGino LoJoFo Rush has pointed this out, that they’ll throw 0 under the bus before liberalism. Sooner rather than later I hope but we all know libtoidism will still live on without their Lord God Bufu Barry.

      • badbadlibs

LoJoFo NYGino Are you sure that’s a far left website:
“Ultimately, when free people start to see the abuses of their government, and the approach of tyranny, they will risk the consequences of “going public” or “leaking.”  This isn’t about overseas operations, it’s about our government spying on us.
Can you say “KGB?”  No tinfoil hat required.”
The guy who wrote that got 152 likes!
Dare I hope there is hope????

        • NYGino

badbadlibs LoJoFo NYGino   I couldn’t believe what I was reading also.  Yes motherjones is far left, far, far left.  Pinch me someone.

        • NYGino

badbadlibs LoJoFo NYGino   Upon further review, don’t pinch me, K-Bob is right.  There’s always a scheme to their actions and positions.     15 yard penalty-first down.

        • Godisright

NYGino badbadlibs LoJoFo Yup. Their environmental page is a dead giveaway, if nothing else is.

        • LoJoFo

badbadlibs LoJoFo NYGino Wikipedia calls Mother Jones a “politically left-wing American magazine.”  How far left, I’m not sure.

        • NYGino

LoJoFo badbadlibs  I refuse to hold out any hope when it comes to the left, but I hope I’m wrong.
(I’m a big fan of Stengel and Berra )

    • Conservative_Hippie

I have to disagree with you on this one Gino, Cavuto, seemed in control to me.  Was he steamed, yes.  Was he out of control, no.  My feeling was that Neil showed frustration, but did in a way that showed it was his show and he was the boss.  :-)

  • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

Neil Cavuto, listening to him almost makes me want to get cable.  Love Ben Stein too. Although listening to all 3 talk at the same time is kind of annoying- the guy with the eye make up was a putz. Send him over to talk to tingles.
Sorry, I hardly ever watch tv so I have no idea who he is.

    • Rshill7

AmericanborninCanada  He appears on Fox opposite Jay Sekulow quite a bit. Jay takes him to the woodshed a lot.

      • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

Rshill7 now that’d be fun to watch!

      • Conservative_Hippie

And usually on a Wednesday, hence the term Ash … o nevermind!

    • Garym1

AmericanborninCanada  Ben Stein hates him some Sarah for some reason:
      http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2008/09/will-palin-win/

      • K-Bob

Garym1 AmericanborninCanada Yeah, he lost me with that one.
I have a list of places on the web and people I don’t–or rarely in some cases–read anymore because of ignorant crap like that. Powerline, NationalReview, Ace’s (occasionally I go if a link looks promising), Commentary, Pete Wehner, Frum, RedState, etc.
To me, the heart and soul of the political right is focused on Restoration of what the founders intended.  Everyone working against that is just in the way as far as I’m concerned, and whenever I can get a chance, I’ll walk right over them if they don’t move.

        • Garym1

K-Bob Some people on “our side” just don’t want to fight for their principles. Ace was truly disappointing before the 2012 primaries even got going. Erick Erickson was an absolute child in that same time period. Powerline lost me when Mirringof went full retard on Palin. She is on the right side on just about everything. I’ve had my disagreements with some of her opinions, but that doesn’t turn me against her. However, these people turn against her because they don’t want to be ridiculed because of the perceived “stupidity” of Palin. I have a hard time taking these people seriously if they can’t fight for all conservatives.

        • K-Bob

Garym1K-Bob Hah!  I also claimed Mirengoff wnt “full retard.”  I used to hang out at the Powerline site regularly, nutil they started ramping up a push for getting Caspar Milquetoast^H^H^H Tim Pawlenty to run in 2012.  They were so in the bag for Pawlenty (a really nice guy, but as mushy as they come) that they started sounding like Carl Rove whenever they talked about leading Conservatives.
There’s a sort of axis-of-mush with the Powerline/Hewitt/Ricochet guys.  The only ones I can stand are Hewitt, but only when he’s interviewing someone, and Lileks, because he’s d**n funny.  The rest seem like they really still like Ike, and that’s about it.

      • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

Garym1 AmericanborninCanada Has he changed his opinion since then?

        • Garym1

AmericanborninCanada  As far as I can tell he never reversed and actually said some worse things that the left loved him for. Never have been a fan of his since. Which is a shame.

        • http://cfp4us.org/ AmericanborninCanada

          Garym1 :-(

      • Dr. Strangelove

Garym1 AmericanborninCanada I’ve tried to read Stein’s column in The American Spectator and he comes off like a rich, pompous liberal enjoying the good life.

  • RReaganRepublic

Neil Cavuto actually got his normally very patient gentle kind furr up, with this liberal indoctrinated ideologue drone.
The thing with these liberals is that their marxist ideologue indoctrination is so powerful, they would never accept and acknowledge the truth, ie; that they’re wrong and we’re right, until a communist takes an Ak-47 and shoves it up their rear all the way to the gulag. Then and maybe only then, would they actually wake up..  Of course by then, it’s always far too late.

    • mike3e4r7

I was thinking the same thing.  You don’t normally see Cavuto lose his patience.  You can just see how angry he was from that split screen photo that Scoop posted.  What this shows you about Cavuto is that in addition to being very fair minded, he’s also a decent human being who is understandabley outraged by the excesses of this government and those who try to make excuses for them.

  • http://www.navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

Cavuto is absolutely right. If the IRS GAVE confidential financial information on conservative groups to liberal opposition groups, then why is it such a leap of faith to believe that some other politically motivated bureaucratic agency will not do the same thing? Of course they would, and THAT is why we should all be afraid of what is going on. And the idea that soon the IRS will have ALL of your medical records is terrifying. If the Democrats are not thrown out of office in 2014 and 2016, then America really deserves what it gets.

  • gigiof3

Whoa! You go Cavuto. I was watching this earlier and did not hang with Neil. I was tired of the other sides talking points and left the room. Next time I will give Neil another 2 minutes!

I think he looks like Alfred E. Newman of Mad magazine fame.

  • salty walty

Cavuto should not have Epstein on his program. Why do conservatives play the liberal game?

  • volsense

If the idiot who had his mic cut had been on ABC, CBS, NBC or MSNBC he would still be ranting his continuous lies.  Liberals think the truth should be what they want it to be rather than what the obvious facts dictate.  Liberalism is truly a progressive disease and only gets worse over time.  Ben mention of a “police state” is gaining momentum.  The attack from within is being exposed at every turn.

    • badbadlibs

volsense I can’t  imagine what the “talking points” consists of for Sunday’s news shows. Mostly likely the liberal hack here has them down, “can’t conflate Rosen, AP and Horizon. To allow it to be conflated would make the obvious, well…obvious, that this is a police state under comrade Obama and  his army of brown shirts.

  • mike3e4r7

What’s with the Mr. Spock eyebrows on this guy?  Does he shave his eyebrows and paint them on like that?  Does he want to convince people that he knows how to think rationally and logically.  Good luck with that!

    • salty walty

mike3e4r7 Thats funny. I thought the same Mike…

  • PVG

Bravo Neil! Cutting his mic was exactly the right move after he had been warned to get with reality. Breitbart lives!

  • 1RandiStarr

That’s all it takes for a liberal lose it, just cut them off!!!  They are a needy bunch!

  • ernst1776

I’ll repeat… It’s amazing how void the Democrats have become.  They say nothing, just engaging in double-speak.

  • Matt2Matt

Communists lie, it’s what they do…

  • StevenValdez

Seems like talking to Mark Levin this week rubbed off on Cavuto and so tired of the nonsense he was having none of it!

  • JohnSchaffran

This is why I like Cavuto.  We need to find the truth as it pertains to Benghazi, fast and furious, etc.  And Cavuto is right.  If Bush was involved in ANY of this we are looking at Impeachment hearings!

  • jdbaird

On rare occasion I’ll end up commenting on a liberal blog, and this is how frustrated I end up getting when they start responding to me. It’s just no matter what a liberal politician does wrong, their followers will never admit it. They’re retards, that’s the only conclusion I can come to.

    • kong1967

jdbaird  I run into “every President does it”, or “Bush started it”, or “Bush appointed him”…..bla bla bla.  They always deflect and never look at the issue directly in front of them.  They will never admit to their hero being a bad guy or even someone who makes mistakes..  It’s always someone else.

      • jdbaird

kong1967 jdbaird No they never will… they won’t stay on topic either, as soon as you prove them wrong on something they change the subject.

        • kong1967

jdbaird  Obama was trying to change the topic every day recently.  He was giving speeches about unrelated issues.  Nothing was working.  That makes me wonder if this leak was intentional so we could start a debate on whether or not the dragnet should be allowed.  Obama is in the clear.  He supposedly got clearance from all branches of government, so it takes the heat off himself and changes the subject to a controversial one.

  • kong1967

He wants to keep the blame down below the top levels of each agency or department.  Once you admit a pattern you have to admit that there’s a higher factor or leader pushing it above all the agencies.  This would point directly at Obama.  They won’t do that.

    • https://sites.google.com/site/warpminesblog/ warpmine

kong1967 Sure and we all know even without Obamakov’s direct command he only had to wink and nod have the things go down. “He never had direct contact with any of them but his direct subordinates sure as hell did. He conspired to keep his nose clean by leaving that deniability intact. Nobody and mean nobody roes this unless they know absolutely it’s against the law so it’s so vital that he not know.
Er, the buck stop here which is far short of my oval office desk….I was playing golf, at a fund raiser, watching a movie, having a dinner party etc…..

      • kong1967

warpmine Exactly, but I think the fact that all the agencies were working in unison pretty much makes it obvious they didn’t act on their own.  In my opinion, even if Obama claims ignorance it spells negligence of duty on his part.  He was either committing high crimes or he was being negligent…..and we both know it was the former.  I think both should be impeachable.

  • JamesP.Delaney

Well done, Neil! Libs are infuriatingly b-l-i-n-d.

  • JS2020

Obama is leaking all of this to add more and more cover to his and Hillarys treasonous actions in Benghazi. Obama and Hillary know it leads back to their incompetence or plot to let Ambassador Stephens be kidnapped so they would be forced to do a prisoner swap for the Blind Sheik.  Issa and the real media need to focus on Benghazi. That is the most important issue we need to get to the bottom of.
People died because Obama and Hillary did not even bother to answer the 3:00 AM RED PHONE call. We had assets on the runway wanting/begging to go help. And the order was given to stand down and the powers to be did nothing, Zip, Nada.

    • badbadlibs

JS2020 Well said. Totally agree. The criminality and shamefulness of comrade Obama and hellary is stunning in it’s scope. Yet they are still free. Nothing will be done now or in the future, sadly and unjustly.

  • The Sentinel

Jullian Epstein has always been a flaming tool for the left. He’s a worthless guest and a complete waste of time.
I always flip the channel when either he, Colmes, Toure… come on. FNC goes too far when they allow those lemmings on their network.

    • NYGino

The Sentinel   Agreed TS.  To use the left’s word of the day, this is an overreach on FOX’s part to show how “balanced” they are.

I loved watching CAVUTO today shut up that stupid slobbering liberal Epstein………..what is this GOP created scandals?????????????????????????????????  the GOP used power to attack tea party people, et al….the GOP what killed the 4 Americans in Libya????? The GOP went after reporters 1st amendment rights  seriously you leftie idiots
OH AND yes NSA…….yes here some of the GOP are stupid and better wake up before the dictator has all control

  • TCW9127

That is why Neil Cavuto is the best.

  • deleted_15255901_FIREINTHEHOLE69

STUPID LIBSCHITZ…. ALL OF THEM BELIEVE WE CONSERVATIVES ARE STUPID… WELL I KNOW BETTER.. THE SPINELESS REPUBLICANS HAVEN’T GOT THE BALLS TO STOP THEM… THEY ARE AFRAID OF THE COMMUNIST TAKEOVER OF THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE… OVOMIT AND HIS GESTAPO MUST BE TAKEN DOWN… I PRIDE IN NEIL CAVUTO… HE IS NOT AFRAID TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS… BUT I AM PUZZLED WHY NOBODY IN ANY MEDIA OUTLET CAN MENTION COMMUNISM……..   VERY STRANGE… IF YOU ASK ME.

  • Dr. Strangelove

The libtard is right on one point- none of this can be tied directly to the WH. It was either Mark or Rush that pointed out last week that historians haven’t found any documentation tying Hitler directly to the Holocaust, despite the Nazi’s obsessive penchant for record keeping.

    • doofuschmartz

Exactly right. Juliana Epstein is a political flamer (in more ways than one, a year down the road and I suspect Cavuto would be accused of sexism). He is a liberal idealogue who, stupid though he sounds, is actually brilliant at what he does. It’s a crying shame that Cavuto lost his cool like that when, brilliant commentator that he is, he could have ripped him a new one AFTER he spouted his tripe. Aw well, I still love ya Neil…SHALOM!

  • agas84363

why does the cost of freedom series every week have a liberal moron on their show?   get rid of them they bring nothing to the table…

  • NCHokie02

“I don’t connect the dots…”  EXACTLY!!!! That’s the problem with liberals and this administration.  They don’t connect the dots.  Every incident overseas in the middle east is a “random act by locals”, WRONG!!  Connect the dots to find out!!!  How does intellignece work?? YOU CONNECT THE DOTS!!!  If someone is brought before a judge multiple times for the same offense the judge CONNECTS THE DOTS and says “I see a pattern of wrong doing here!!”  If you commit multiple DUI’s your liscense is revoked because they connected the dots and found a patterns.  There are patterns in this administration of wrongdoing.  You have to connect the dots.  Retards.

  • JIM737

Epstein is the typical Libtard…if they can’t win their argument based on facts, they attempt to change the subject, blame somebody else and LIE!  Exactly what odumba is attempting to do right now…..change the subject….and lie, MORE!  Epstein says the person in the “People’s House” knew nothing about IRS, James Rosen, AP, Benghazi, NSA.  Then what the hell is he doing….yep, the same old thing…campaigning, trying to buy more votes and acceptance with YOUR MONEY!

  • 07gibsonlp

The NSA is building the largest data center to date in Utah.  It is intended to capture every phone call, text, email, Facebook post, forum comment, etc, etc.  Nothing will be missed.  Don’t believe me? Just “Google” it. Because as we all know, everybody is a potential terrorist.
9/11 was used as an excuse ramp up the surveillance/police state. It’s really that simple.  It started with the Patriot Act under GWB and has only accelerated under Obama.  The really disheartening part is that we know, once these things start, the never stop or get reversed.  Being monitored and watched will be the new norm going forward. It’s all a part of the NWO.
If you count the number of people killed by terrorists every year and compare it to the number of people killed by nearly anything else; car accidents, plane crashes, DUI, quads/motorcycles, AIDS…take your pick, you will find that it is minuscule in comparison. They may be trying to fight “terrorists” but it has absolutely nothing to do with saving lives. NOTHING. It is all about nation-building and imposing their will on the rest of the world. Do you really Ghadaffi was taken down by “Rebels”?  LOL!!!  That had US fingerprints all over it. As well as Egypt, Syria and any other nation where we happen to dislike the government.  Just like we provided chemical weapons to Iraq back in the 70’s and 80’s, and it backfired on us, and the Taliban in Afghanistan during the war with Russia, the same is happening in Egypt.
We are created more upheaval around the world than the “terrorists” could ever hope to create.  What this country has become disgusts me.

  • PaulLeslie

“Fair and Balanced” needs to be re-examined.  It shouldn’t mean that you simply give a forum to propagandists sent out with Dear Leader’s script (so-called talking points).
I get sick of hearing these un-American apologists for socialism and tyranny.
Fox could exclude the whole bunch of them (including Juan Williams, the blow-hard Geraldo, the tool Colmes, et. al) and we’d all be better off.  Giving them a platform is like saying “a little bit of poison will do you good.”

  • benty910

Fox HAS to put on these idiots or else Obama will not allow them to be on TV  ” fair and balanced” is a scam that has been going on for a long time and is a tool in the marxist agenda. The “left” will do anything to defame, cloud or lie to hide the TRUTH. The left has embraced idiotic evolution, meaning the Founding Fathers beliefs,( the Constitution) is outdated and subject to “change”.

  • doofuschmartz

Neil Cavuto is a brilliant, brilliant guy and one of the VERY FEW commentators that I can still listen to and endorse on FOX NEWS. I believe he got to his breaking point with Epstein the flamer yesterday. Unfortunately, it should not have happened on his show. Epstein was an invited guest. Cavuto should have let him voice his stupid opinion without interruption, and then smacked him down. But to yell over the top of him and cut his mic, made Neil, as much as I hate to admit it, look like a petulant child who will take his toys and refuse to play. Under the circumstances yesterday, as clownish as Epstein looked with all of that make-up on, and as idiotic as he sounded in full Obamanite denial mode, the ball was in Cavuto’s court and he could have easily aced him again and again. He should have expected the lies and distortions that came slobbering out of Epstein’s mouth. It’s not like his politics have been a secret all these years. The guy is, was, and probably always will be a political hack for the Democrackheads. And Cavuto, in all of his infinite brilliance, should have been ready for him…

    • gadjotman

fox needs to get a reality check on their claim of fair and balanced which is just plain silly when you have a mentally ill person on like julia epstein.

  • Laurel A

Isn’t that liberal progressive modus operandi? Deny reality then spin. Progressives of all stripes at all levels do it including bloggers. Maybe that is why they are progressive.

  • http://www.governmentmess.blogspot.com/ faustmanv

Common sense says all this is Obama and the Liberal’s Agenda. The massive cover for Obama and his thugs is being exposed finally, six years too late! Many of us have been warning all along that this Marxist Bastard was going to destroy everything great about America but no one listened to us! Now the damage has been done and the question is can we save ourselves? If ObamaCare goes through and is fully implemented we are toast! He!!, we may be toast already in my humble opinion!

  • ConservativeFromHell

Cavuto is fighting what I’ve witnessed since the early days of the Clinton administration.  The coordinated use of talking points and key words by progressive pundits and politicians (PPP) across all media.  Today’s key word of the day was obviously “conflation”.  The PPP was instructed to tell America that the GOP is trying to conflate all of these scandals into one Big Brother government scandal.  The mission for the day was to keep the media buried in the details of one scandal at a time and they (the PPP) get to choose which scandal they want to discuss.  I can’t wait to hear what the next word of the day will be.

  • redford041

At least we have a few anchors who care about this country.  Thank you Cavuto

  • AmericanPatriot77

……liberals are and always have been THE DEFINITION OF ANTI-REALITY ITSELF !! – it’s ALWAYS INFURIATING to talk to them because all they do is spew the same lies OVER AND OVER ….it’s like talkin to the devil……which is why this all boils down to freedom from liberalism and the Second Ammendment
