Daily Caller: Two women claim Senator Bob Menendez stiffed them for sex in Dominican Republic

I think these women are getting their revenge for being stiffed by apparent cheapskate and Democrat U.S. Senator Bob Menendez:

DAILY CALLER – Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.

In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000 acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100.

The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa. Both asked that their identities remain obscured for fear of reprisals in the Dominican Republic.

Neither knew the identity of the man at the time. Both claimed to recognize him later as Sen. Menendez.

“He called him[self] ‘Bob,’” said one.

One woman said Menendez wooed her with compliments like “beautiful” before they slept together. The other woman recounted, with apparent bitterness, receiving from an intermediary only $100 of the $500 she had been promised.

“He lies,” she said of Menendez. “He says one thing and does another.”

I bet he’s wishing he paid them the full amount about now.

Dana Loesch reminds us of why this scandal is important:

For those who may think the story isn’t important, stop and think for a moment about another senate seat in play. While Menendez leads his GOP challenger Joe Kyrillos by double digits, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that a sordid scandal would knock free a senate seat. How badly do you want Obamacare repealed?

The bigger story is Menendez’s offense. The crime isn’t that he’s a single man who paid for prostitutes, the crime is his hypocrisy. The crime is that Menendez acts like a savior on the front lines of the “war on women.”

One last thing. Menendez weighed in on the Secret Service scandal earlier this year saying that if they solicited prostitutes, they should be fired:

I wonder what Sandra Fluke will have to say about this.
