UPDATE: This is a letter that was sent to the Wisconsin Republicans (via TheBlaze)

From: XXXX
Sent: Wed 3/9/2011 9:18 PM
To: Sen.Kapanke; Sen.Darling; Sen.Cowles; Sen.Ellis; Sen.Fitzgerald; Sen.Galloway; Sen.Grothman; Sen.Harsdorf; Sen.Hopper; Sen.Kedzie; Sen.Lasee; Sen.Lazich; Sen.Leibham; Sen.Moulton; Sen.Olsen
Subject: Atten: Death threat!!!! Bomb!!!!

Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your familes will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks. Please explain to them that this is because if we get rid of you and your families then it will save the rights of 300,000 people and also be able to close the deficit that you have created. I hope you have a good time in hell. Read below for more information on possible scenarios in which you will die.

WE want to make this perfectly clear. Because of your actions today and in the past couple of weeks I and the group of people that are working with me have decided that we’ve had enough. We feel that you and the people that support the dictator have to die. We have tried many other ways of dealing with your corruption but you have taken things too far and we will not stand for it any longer. So, this is how it’s going to happen: I as well as many others know where you and your family live, it’s a matter of public records. We have all planned to assult you by arriving at your house and putting a nice little bullet in your head. However, we decided that we wouldn’t leave it there. We also have decided that this may not be enough to send the message to you since you are so “high” on Koch and have decided that you are now going to single handedly make this a dictatorship instead of a demorcratic process. So we have also built several bombs that we have placed in various locations around the areas in which we know that you frequent. This includes, your house, your car, the state capitol, and well I won’t tell you all of them because that’s just no fun. Since we know that you are not smart enough to figure out why this is happening to you we have decided to make it perfectly clear to you. If you and your goonies feel that it’s necessary to strip the rights of 300,000 people and ruin their lives, making them unable to feed, clothe, and provide the necessities to their families and themselves then We Will “get rid of” (in which I mean kill) you. Pleaseunderstand that this does not include the heroic Rep. Senator that riskedeverything to go aganist what you and your goonies wanted him to do. We feelthat it’s worth our lives to do this, because we would be saving the livesof 300,000 people. Please make your peace with God as soon as possible andsay goodbye to your loved ones we will not wait any longer. YOU WILL DIE!!!!

You can tell just by looking at their pictures or by reading their language, they are miserable people; just have to be empty inside to be like that.

Hard to see civility on a Godless side of humanity.

  • The Left is filled with hate and murder. They have the MSM and Hollywood as their PR organization to cover it up. Of all the murderous regimes of the 20th Century, the vast majority of the people who were slaughtered were slaughtered by Leftist regimes.

So what did this legislation actually change???

The unions have to be re-certified every year and they have to collect their own dues. If these folks are that in love with their union, that shouldn’t be a problem!! So are they pissed that the union will need to hire a couple of clerks to track the dues??? Get over it, the bottom line is that the unions will only be able to use $.70 out of every dues dollar for political purposes instead of $.75. Big deal !!!

    Did I miss something?

    • Robb 55

I’m not sure exactly what was passed in this bill but original proposals would have required unions collect their own dues and membership in the unions would be voluntary.

      • Jacksavage

Is this true? Dear God! The horror!

    • Yes you missed something you idiot. A whole lot of rights were taken away from citizens. You might not think it’s a big deal but everyone involved with union affairs does. You might be think that everyone that is not on the right is wrong all the time but that’s because you are a disingenuous fool. “Did I miss something?” Jesus. You people are just insane.

      • Anonymous

Could you enumerate these rights??? Saying “a whole lot” is not very specific. The crowds outside the capital believe “a whole lot” of rights were taken away too – but they also cannot list them. Not even Mr. Michael (no unions people on my pics) Moore can’t quote them on natl tv. So what are they??

      • Before this new law, public sector unions were able to establish contracts of any length they could, employers were required to help collect union dues, they had the ability to negotiate for raises (saying they have to get a referendum for raises above the rate of inflation means no one ever gains any purchasing power), they could influence their working conditions and other elements of their compensation.

I anticipate more disingenuous wailing, “Those are rights! The Right to Bear Arms is a right and that wasn’t taken away.” Of course, willful misunderstanding is at the heart of my contempt.

My point is that a lot of people in Wisconsin have had their lives made worse by the Republicans in that state. Whether one agrees that it was appropriate or not, injury was done. The fact that you can’t give any credence to the fact that the pain of losers in this dishonest battle proves your hardness of heart and the lack of sympathy that I have come to see as a defining characteristic of the right wing.

Even more importantly, the unwillingness to consider the pain, anger and frustration that result from treating the supporters of those who lost the election as non-citizens whose ideas pushes people to seek non-electoral solutions to their problems. The right is courting disaster.

        • Viancome34

Oh, you mean like the Dems did in washington after They took complete controll 2 years ago, not so good when its you reaping what you have sewn is it. Well, the country is tired of liberals bleeding them dry through union theft, now the liberals true colors are shining through and people are seeing you for what you really are. First step in weeding corruption in government is busting all the union corruption and doing away with corrupt union manipulation of every one else, go cry us a river, your hypricrocy no longer moves the MAJORITY anymore.

  • Douche Bags come to mind, so much for a liberal, Progressive open Mind…

  • And these are the same people who called the Tea party violent .
It seems unions breed violence by creating a mob mentality , and feeling of us against them .
These people are not fighting for their lives , they’re fighting for the power of the unions .
It’s time to take that power away .

“You say union busting like it’s a bad thing .” Tea partier to union thug , Madison , WI

  • Robb55

Collective bargaining IS a right you know, it’s right there in black and white… right next to the part about abortion.

  • Robb55

I’m not sure is it still illegal to make death threats against a public official or anyone else for that matter?

    • Jack Savage

Nah, not when it is a Republican.

  • All this vitriol. Sarah Palin’s crosshair can’t touch this…

  • I love when the left shows their love. They are so bright and articulate.

  • poljunkie

Who are these people, and why are they consumed with so much hate? What happened to civility , working together and debate,?

Shouldnt there be a code of conduct to use Twitter?

    • They are consumed with hate because they feel powerless. The rules of our government were constructed with mechanisms like quorum and fillibuster to prevent what is called the ‘tyranny of the majority’. The goal is to make sure that everyone’s views are represented, not just those that won. Republicans have made an art form of treating the views of the (usually) 49% of people that didn’t vote for them with contempt.

The Wisconsin fiasco is a prime example. People that are given no voice and no say in how they are treated get pissed. The way this is going, we will see violence and it won’t be the fault of the left. When they have power they get all liberal and try to include everyone. When the right has power, they try to completely disenfranchise everyone else. A bad time is coming.

      • Anonymous

All these folks had a chance to vote in November. To quote a “great” American Barack Obama “We won!”. In 20 months you have a chance to vote again – SHOW UP”.

        • The reason I so rarely contribute to these sites is exemplified by your reply. It’s as if you never read the post. You treat it as a cheap opportunity to make a wise crack. Of course, that’s useful because it illustrates my point even better than if you responded to my point.

I spent a little while yesterday actually trying to communicate with you people. Through the several replies I made, I tried to help you understand that, regardless of the merits of this issue, the Republican practice of treating the minority (48% in Wisconsin) as ‘losers’ who, by virtue of having their candidate out of office, deserve no voice in governance is causing a great deal of pain and frustration.

You can make smirking comments as much as you like but history shows again and again, that people who feel powerless and are not listened to get pissed. The longer it goes on, the more pissed they feel. After the disregard of the left during the Bush administration, the obstruction of liberal goals after winning in 2008 and the disregard for minority views since, you can expect more and more anger.

I will repeat it since you apparently didn’t read it above, “People that are given no voice and no say in how they are treated get pissed.” Ignoring that or pretending it doesn’t exist is dangerous.

          • Viancome34

Like I said before, the liberal eleatist is only reaping what they have sewn, obama, pelosi, and reid, have done exactly what you are crying about Repubs did in WI, the only difference is, Washington gave more power to liberals, while Walker took some away

      • Dedicated_Dad

“…Republicans have made an art form of treating the views of the (usually) 49% of people that didn’t vote for them with contempt…When they have power they get all liberal and try to include everyone…”

Where have you been, under a rock? Are you lying or just delusional?

“We won – that means we write the bills” – Barack Obama
“We shoved health-care down the republicans’ throats” – Harry Reid
Witness countless lies and slanders of all in the “tea party” and all who opposed the Demmunist agenda!

Wise men advise not to let your mouth write a check your @$$ can’t cover – something to really think about before you start making threats. We The People have had enough of your corruption. Just remember, we “bitter clingers” are the ones with the guns – you lot are askeered of ’em!

Nobody has lost ANY “rights” – if you don’t like the terms of your employment, you’re free to go elsewhere – just like everyone else.

What you’re mad about is that you’ve lost your free ticket to the gravy-train – and the only one’s you’re fooling are yourselves.

    • Dedicated_Dad

“…What happened to civility, working together and debate?…”

Where have you been for the past 2 years? That stuff only applies when they are losing. Otherwise it’s “we won the election, we make the rules” and they revel in “shoving health-care down the Republicans’ throats.”

“Compromise” to them means “do it my way” – This is what you get when you do what they don’t like.

Thugs and criminals – all of them. It’s time we treat them as they are — THE ENEMY.

  • This is exactly what they said the Tea Party would do. Looks like they looked inside of themselves and expected the other side to be exactly the same.

    • Dedicated_Dad

It’s really simple – whenever a collectivist makes an accusation, it’s what they themselves are doing.
It’s called “projection” and is a classic sign of mental illness – no surprise, since collectivism is just that.

  • Friend of Molly Maguire

Boy! That letter to the WisCairo Republicans make me feel warm and fuzzy!

Do the LIBTARDS realize that the very moment one of these people is killed that the “Silent Majority” of this nation will awaken? Do they realize that they will be crushed, that their movement will have come to its end and their demise will be very bloody?

    • Anonymous

      If it is reported

    • Do you realize what you are saying about your fellow Americans?

      “Libtards” “Crushed” “Bloody” !!!

This in response to complaints about the language used by liberals. How could you expect anyone to treat you as anything other than a hated enemy? How can you fail to undertand that liberals would want people like you to be stopped at any cost?

Do you actually want there to be violent conflict in America, among Americans? Do you really think that, even if “millions of hunters and militia members in the country all own guns” (as Kim A says below) that your life will not be changed forever if a battle occurs?

The reason that our country has focused on making sure that the political minority has plenty of rights is because the founders understand that people who feel voiceless and disenfranchised can ruin the society for everyone.

      That includes you.

    • Viancome34

The end will be quick if the Liberals try to make it violent. Case in point, Conservatives – “ignorant people clinging to their Bible and GUNS”
Liberals – “NO guns, having a gun is wrong and only brings violence, please take away peoples guns away”
Moral of the story is, if you want to get violent, dont do so against people who are better armed than you are.

  • Friend of Molly Maguire

THANK YOU for posting this! Keep up the great reporting on the hatred and violence of these leftists!

  • Deese

Liberals are so loving and tolerant aren’t they and they have such wonderful language too.

  • They need to calm down. They act like a 2 yr old who was told he can’t keep his brothers’ toy.The selfishness and greed here is disgusting. So they can no longer hold the gov’t hostage to their demands. Too bad.
But they should stop making threats. They obviously haven’t realised the millions of hunters and militia members in the country all own guns

    • You can try to trivialize it as a “toy” but it only shows that you are an insensitive fool. Look at it this way, if it was not important, why would Walker have taken such heat to keep it?

I read about the number of guns held by the right wing all the time on your media and I want to tell you, you are making a HUGE mistake by repeatedly making this threat. Though there might actually be an imbalance in the number of guns, it turns out that once the shooting starts, even winning is losing.

You arrogant pricks demean people, threaten them and show contempt for their very real concerns are pushing our country to the brink. You think it’s winning but you are killing our country with this attitude.

      • Anonymous

Did you read your own post?

      • Jauxblaux

Your name calling dilutes any intelligence your argument may have had.

        • It is self-serving to say that. My argument is my argument and if you are a sincere person (something that the replies to my visit here make me doubt), you will read for the argument and try to learn.

The fact that I hate you people and want you to know that I think you are pricks does not change the value of what I say. You are courting disaster with this talk of guns and violence. Your side has systematically worked to prevent the left from having its concerns tended. If you push them to violence, your life will be much worse.

If you think that is somehow less valid because I think you people are arrogant pricks, then I will add stupid to the list of epithets.

      • Viancome34

“”You arrogant pricks demean people, threaten them and show contempt for their very real concerns are pushing our country to the brink. You think it’s winning but you are killing our country with this attitude. “” Pot calling the kettle black there dont you think? Get a grip, you lost and all your Liberal talking points are no longer going to fly, like the Japanese ( and they are in my thoughts and prayers) said after bombing pearl harbour, Liberals have woken a sleeping giant, and like Rev. Wright said, the chickens are coming home to roost. Where is your outrage at the responses of liberals making death threats and hate speech? There is none, because you good sir are a two-faced hyprocrit and every post you make here just shows your true face to the world.

It’s so funny to watch the “enlightened” contort themselves into full blown reactionaries.

This is not just a threat to Wisconsin lawmakers… it is a genuine threat to our entire country. The events of the last several weeks have brought forth a serious question… will we, as a nation, allow our democratic republic to be subverted by mob rule? We all know that Wisconsin is not the first state to address union issues, however, it has become the proverbial ‘test case’ whose outcome will set a precedent for many other states dealing with similar problems.

It goes without saying that the individuals who have threatened the lives of the Wisconsin state officials and their families must be found and brought to justice. But it is also time to examine the powerful role of those who have instigated and encouraged this escalating anarchy through their rhetoric. This list would necessarily include Richard Trumka and union spokesmen, outspoken Democratic representatives, the main stream media, Jesse Jackson and Michael Moore, as well as President Obama and the deliberate interference of his own political arm, Organizing for America, into a state matter – as there is ample evidence that the protesters bussed in from other states (by OFA) have added to the unmitigated chaos at the Wisconsin State Capitol.

This should be followed by a congressional hearing into the escalating threat of “Leftwing Extremism” in our country. The threat to local, state and federal officials, as well as anyone opposed to the leftwing agenda can no longer be ignored or tolerated. The ensuant report should, in all reality, act as a replacement for the bogus warning memo on “Rightwing Extremism” issued by Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security in April of 2009, as this “threat” has proven to be essentially nonexistent.

The need for a restoration of law and order, as well as accountability, is apparent to all clear-thinking Americans. It should also be noted that when the union protesters chant, “this is what democracy looks like,” the vast majority of our citizens would vehemently reply, “no, it is not.” Mob rule is, without a doubt, completely and utterly un-American.

    • You are 100% wrong and the way you can tell is that your list of people who you would “necessarily include”. That list is a call for a witch hunt against everyone you disagree with.

What you call a “mob” is in fact, the exact thing that the founders were protecting when they guaranteed “freedom of assembly”. Far from being un-American or weird, it is considered by everyone with any political or cultural education to be the essence of democracy to get together and shout at bad leaders.

Violence arises in society, and you can declaim as loudly as you want but when the minority is not heard, it eventually leads to violence. After eight years of George Bush treating the views of those that disagreed with him as irrelevant, the Democrats went on to win. The Republicans and you right wing jerks, treated that as irrelevant and have prevented the left from influencing the direction of the country.

People on the left see that as simply unfair. Worse, they see it as dictatorial and cruel. It has become apparent that we cannot have our say in things either by being cooperative or by winning elections. What’s left?

Pretty much the only alternative left is direct action. When the peaceful version of that is ignored, as it was, by fools such as Walker (made worse by the fact that his actual goal is to take away rights), it is 100% natural for people to think about last remaining alternative. People are not going to simply lie down and say, “Fuck me to death,” even if you want them to.

      • Skaiser106

Let’s cut to the chase. Do you have a problem with these death threats?

        • Anonymous

          No, obviously he doesn’t.

        • Yes, I have a problem with death threats. However, none of the things listed above are death threats and you all know it. That’s why I hate you.

Everything listed above is expletive. It’s the outpouring of anger as a result of being treated viciously by Republicans in Wisconsin. None of those people are really calling for civil war or violence. They are obviously analogous to a child’s scream at his mother, “I hate you.” Nobody, but nobody tweets an actual death threat.

If you were smart (and I know you’re not), you would look at this outpouring of rage as information about how angry and frustrated your opponents are. You may think you are winning, but you are sowing the seeds of your own destruction.

No society can prosper when its minority feels bitter and disenfranchised. The disregard the left feels after eight years of Bush, two years of universal obstruction and filibuster, and now this, is dangerous. None of these are actual death threats but they do express a zeitgeist.

That zeitgeist is saying, “Republicans are vicious. They will never work with us. If we want redress, we are going to have to find another way.” You people are making a big mistake. You think you are getting it all your way but disaster is on the way.

          • Viancome34

            @tqwhite, you spend so much time decrying the intelligence of others here, all I see from your numerous posts are logic fallacy after fallacy, here is a small list and their deffinitions;

            Fallacy: Ad Hominem ,
Translated from Latin to English, “Ad Hominem” means “against the man” or “against the person.”

An Ad Hominem is a general category of fallacies in which a claim or argument is rejected on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author of or the person presenting the claim or argument. Typically, this fallacy involves two steps. First, an attack against the character of person making the claim, her circumstances, or her actions is made (or the character, circumstances, or actions of the person reporting the claim). Second, this attack is taken to be evidence against the claim or argument the person in question is making (or presenting). This type of “argument” has the following form:

            1. Person A makes claim X.
            2. Person B makes an attack on person A.
            3. Therefore A’s claim is false.

            Fallacy: Personal Attack

Also Known as: Ad Hominem Abusive.
            Description of Personal Attack

A personal attack is committed when a person substitutes abusive remarks for evidence when attacking another person’s claim or claims. This line of “reasoning” is fallacious because the attack is directed at the person making the claim and not the claim itself. The truth value of a claim is independent of the person making the claim. After all, no matter how repugnant an individual might be, he or she can still make true claims.

Not all ad Hominems are fallacious. In some cases, an individual’s characteristics can have a bearing on the question of the veracity of her claims. For example, if someone is shown to be a pathological liar, then what he says can be considered to be unreliable. However, such attacks are weak, since even pathological liars might speak the truth on occasion.

In general, it is best to focus one’s attention on the content of the claim and not on who made the claim. It is the content that determines the truth of the claim and not the characteristics of the person making the claim.

These are just two of your most blatant failings so far, with all of your personal attacks on people here as a whole, your arguments about the general ignorance of the group are kinda childish, before insulting others, try to make sure that you are in fact smarter than others

          • Dedicated_Dad

            You’re pathetic.
Where was your outrage when your collectivist fellow-travelers were slanderously smearing “the right” for the actions of a madman in Tucson??

NONE of the people named then had said anything remotely threatening or calling for violence.
ALL of the people named above have done so.

You’re seriously delusional – it’s as if nothing your kool-aid-flavored-lollipop-messiah and his regime/collectivist-fellow-travelers in Sodom-on-the-Potomac have done in the last 2 years even happened.

Where was your outrage when an entire movement of MILLIONS was being falsely smeared as racist and worse?

Where’s your respect for “the democratic process” when your Demmunist politicians subvert it by running and hiding to roadblock that process?

Where was your outrage when Sharron Angle was smeared for saying the exact same thing you just did — with a lot more justification?

Collectivism (Aka “liberalism”) really is a mental disorder!

      • Anonymous

jaym68 – “It goes without saying that the individuals who have threatened the lives of the Wisconsin state officials and their families must be found and brought to justice.”

tqwhite – “You are 100% wrong….Violence arises in society, and you can declaim as loudly as you want but when the minority is not heard, it eventually leads to violence.”

And there you have it. Yet another barking left wing lunatic with murder on his mind. tqwhite, you and yours don’t deserve to be in charge of a kitten, let alone government.

The election that YOU lost in November is how this democratic republic has worked for over 200 years. Lefties need to grow up and deal with it like adults living in a democracy instead of beer hall thugs rioting in the streets vowing to murder everyone who disagrees with you and saying you’ll force your will on everyone else.

The left has not acquitted itself anywhere near as well as it thinks it has before the American people. You’re completely delusional but what else is new.

        • Anonymous

Thanks for the back up – I do appreciate it. I hope you don’t mind if I add some off the cuff retorts here, rather than responding directly to tqwhite. He seems delusional and I would prefer not to ‘wind him up’ again.

For the record, he kind of lost me at ‘you right wing jerks.’ The left seem unable to have a discussion without resorting to name calling. Another problem is the need to brand any request for examination or accountability of their companions as a ‘witch hunt.’ That is the exact term they are now using for Peter King’s hearings.

He said, “when the minority is not heard, it eventually leads to violence.” — So, I guess ‘elections have consequences’ only applies if their side wins? It’s also odd that the tea party and others who opposed O-care were actually in –the majority–, were flatly ignored and even intentionally provoked (NP with her Flintstones gavel, laughing while plowing through the middle of the DC crowd), yet there was no violence… only false accusations which were euphorically parroted by the LSM.

…”After eight years of George Bush treating the views of those that disagreed with him as irrelevant…” — They can never resist GWB… but what, no Koch bros today? And isn’t Obama supremely guilty of ‘treating the views of those that disagreed with him as irrelevant?’

“… the Democrats went on to win.” — Uh, is he unaware of the fact that -since then- the Republicans won? Selective memory, I guess.

“The Republicans and you right wing jerks… have prevented the left from influencing the direction of the country.” — Um, WOW! The ‘left turn’ our country took gave me horrible whiplash – but hey, maybe it’s just me.

“unfair… dictatorial and cruel” — Err, that’s Obama.

“cannot have our say… by being cooperative or by winning elections” — Err, that’s the right.

“What’s left?” — IMO, for the right, peaceful protest — for the left, mob rule and violence??

“fools such as Walker” — Um, seems smart to me, and he has the patience of a saint… I just wish he had done it sooner.

          And last, but not least…
“F- me to death” — Yeah, keepin’ it classy – as always!

I guess what we are really seeing is the collective meltdown of a minority of ‘citizens’ who are finally being stripped of the unfair advantages they should never have had in the first place, as they were definitely ill-gotten. That they continue to insist they are ‘entitled’ is truly sad. My prediction is that before this is all over, we will either need more mental health workers, or more jail cells. Which one – will be entirely up to them.

          • Dude, your idea of left would make Richard Nixon laugh. You have whiplash because you got so used to getting everything you want during Bush that you can’t believe anyone else ever gets to say anything. Nixon was a bitter right wing guy, but he was reasonable. He signed the Clean Air Act. Your side denies that clean air is important.

No, Obama did not disregard the opinions of the minority. Read any hard left blog and they will list a thousand grievances with him based on his dilution of health care reform – no single payer, no public option, right? – as well as financial reform and others. Far from ignoring your concerns, he has put his support from his base in jeopardy by including many of your issues in his bills even though you didn’t ever help him at all.

For the right, “peaceful protest” with guns, right? That’s peaceful as hell.

But one thing I do agree with, more jail cells. Your side keeps pushing it and violence will occur. I’ve been predicting it for years. You can make fun if you like, but I’m telling you, this is dangerous time.

ps, “Classy”? Being classy on a site that uses the word “LIBTARD” is putting on a tuxedo to muck out a pig stye. You people are awful.

              …and yet here you are.

Good luck with your mental health issues.

        • Nice editing idiot. I like how you take fragments of two different paragraphs and construct a whole new idea to attribute to me. It’s even better when you take that fiction and then apply it to all of “yours”.

Much more important is this: Losing the election in November means my representative is not in government. It DOES NOT mean that I am no longer represented. It does not mean that my concerns or views have no value and should not be considered.

Further, the fact that you don’t listen to me, care what I say, or address my concerns means that as long as I am unable to get new representation, I have no option but to seek extra-electoral means to improve my lot. In Wisconsin, a whole category of people have had their main extra-electoral mechanism stripped away.

I repeat, you can condemn, you can complain, you can think them fools, but, when the minority is not heard, it eventually leads to violence. That’s not a recommendation, it’s a fact.

          • Anonymous

You repeatedly state that your side is going to murder people and and also say that “you have no option but to seek extra-electoral means to improve my lot” and then object to being called out for the dumb, beer hall thug that you are. Your “lot” will never be improved because you’re a weak, dumb loser. You are clearly the idiot here but are too dumb to realize it.

The truth is you’re not a threat. You’re a fat, dysfunctional, dork who’s never going to do anything but talk trash on the internet and then tell your one and only friend down at the anarchist bookstore all about it.

Just send them some “Together We Thrive” campaign t-shirts. That’ll straighten them out.

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Walker’s beef with the Unions a political one. Unions support Democrats in elections and Republicans believe that they have an easier time winning elections without Unions opposing them. The grievance is not about budgets and it’s not about the public good. It’s about misusing public office to do the work of a political party rather than the peoples business.

Unions elect Demmunists, who then use We The People’s money to reward them and finance their NEXT election. *THAT* is corruption at its worst!

Unions elect Demmunists who are then responsible to “negotiate” their contracts at the expense of the shareholders (We The People)? If a publicly-traded company worked this way, the SEC would put its officers in prison!

It’s quite simple: If a private company doesn’t want to deal with the union, they can close up shop. We The People do not have this option – which is why “public-sector” unions are unethical, PERIOD.

It’s really quite simple: if you don’t like what We The People are offering, seek other employment – just as the vast majority of us do in the private-sector. MILLIONS of us would LOVE to have your job!

I’ve worked in a UAW plant and in a .gov agency – and I left both positions because I could no longer stomach what I saw every day. The waste, fraud and abuse I witnessed still makes me sick years later.

Unions protect the incompetent, malicious and crooked at the expense of everyone else. They are no better than any other organized-crime extortion-racket. You folk are only upset because you’re losing your free ticket on the gravy-train, and you’re afraid of having to compete in the open-market like the rest of us where your actions will actually have consequences.

      Cry me a river!

One state down, 49 to go!

Thank Dear Reader, Chairman Maobama, and his ilk for awakening the sleeping giant – We The People have had ENOUGH!

Sorry Dad…. You couldn’t be more wrong. First I don’t know who you mean when you lump me in with “you people” but I am a self employed person who is not a member of any union. Never the less, I support unions because workers need protection from employers who worship only the almighty dollar and would put the workers safety and livelihood in jeopardy without collective bargaining safeguards.

We the people do not fund unions. Unions are funded through the dues of their members hard earned wages. In the case of public unions, these wages are paid to the people who police our communities, collect our trash, teach our children, repair our streets, treat our water, fight our fires and countless other necessary jobs that we the people rely on having done so that we can go about our business. Tese people pay taxes on those wages and are indeed part of we the people and deserve to have input into the safety of their working conditions and the salaries that they receive.

It would certainly be refreshing if you could post a comment that included more fact and less vitriole.
