This is exactly why Democratic idiots like Carolyn Maloney don’t belong in Congress. They put their agenda in front of everything and then try to suggest that their view of the world would prevent horrible things from happening.
First of all, Tamerlan used bombs, not guns, in the terrorist attacks. So how would gun control have any effect on that? Um…let’s hope she’s not that much of a dope.
Secondly, ask the dead police officer in Watertown if gun control would have prevented his death. In fact the jihadis killed him because they wanted his gun. It was their own incompetence that kept them from getting it. But if they are willing to kill a police officer to get his gun, what do you think they did to get the gun they already had? Hard to say without actually knowing, but there’s no doubt in my mind they would have broken the law to get it if they had to.
So where does gun control fit in to all of this? It doesn’t, but idealistic Democrats will never admit that. They will just keep spouting the same mantra hoping that one day enough people will buy into the BS so that they can pass it.
